I highly recommend mastering engravers in falls church, va. They are very accommodating and their work is excellent.

An amazing job at a very reasonable price. Job done quickly and delivered on time. Highest recommendation!

Eric was very professional knew exactly what I needed! I will use them again. I cannot say enough good things about master engravers!

Not many people know this, but you shouldn't call yourself a "master engraver" if you can't do hand engraving. People spent YEARS to learn and earn that title, and there aren't many of them left. It's a dying art. I am sure if you want something basic, and don't mind laser engraving, you could come here. But if you want to have your pieces hand engraved, this is NOT the place. I came here not knowing they don't do hand engraving, and paid for the service up front. I called to double check on the piece and happened to ask if it would be hand engraved. He said "No. Good luck finding a hand engraver," and refused to issue a refund since he already "started to work on the piece." A partial refund was NEVER offered. I took the piece back in the same condition I dropped it off (thanks God), so I am not sure what exactly he worked on. I was able to find a REAL master engraver, and I am so glad I did. Ask yourself this, why would I bother to drop off an item to a place that doesn't do hand engraving if that was what I wanted to begin with? It was never communicate with me that they don't offer that service and I only pulled back my item after I call to confirm that they got my artwork via email. At the end of the day, we FOUND a REAL master engraver and couldn't be happier. read more

Master Engravers is one of the finest companies I have ever dealt with in the engraving business. First of all, they were open on a Saturday which I found incredibly helpful to my schedule. Second, they responded promptly to all of my emails offering suggestions and advice on my engraving. Third, they answered emails when the office was closed showing attention to my needs. Lastly, they did a fantastic job with the engraving. The work looks beautiful. I highly recommend them and will use them again. Eric is very professional and service oriented. I have enjoyed my experience. AF read more

I was very pleased when Eric engraved a very old family heirloom bell in memory of my father-in-law. Although the bronze bell had a slightly curved area at the base, he did a professional job and the final product looked awesome! It was completed on time, and Eric took the opportunity to call me to ensure we were on the same page with the details before he started. I would definitely use Master Engravers again. Nice job, Eric. read more

I needed a plaque made with a lot of text n a short turnaround. Eric was great in accommodating me and making suggestions for the design. In the end, the plaque came out very well. read more

I needed an engraving shop open on Saturday's and thanks to my fellow Yelpers I was able to find Master Engravers. I had a couple of nameplates needing to be engraved to an existing trophy. The description of the work to be done was accurate and matched the final product and it was available for pickup when promised. The location is in a plaza with plenty of parking in the rear of the building. read more

I had made a big blunder on an engraved plate- that I didn't notice until the the night before the event where it would be presented... I reached out to a few engraving companies immediately and Master engravers responded to my desperate email super quickly after 11pm! He was able to match the font on the orginal, and make a new one for me that morning, so I could pick up it before the luncheon. 5 stars, fantastic service! Thank you!!! read more

Awesome service and great work. I was doing a real gold pocket watch for my best man. They took my lousy MS Paint-Tier artwork and made the watch a work of art. What's more they were less expensive and faster than other places I asked. I would only come back here for any future needs. read more

I was giving a custom firearm to my son to celebrate his graduation from Marine boot-camp. I had Eric do some custom text and the USMC logo on the upper slide, and it came out perfectly and on-time. My fiancé and I decided to get liquor bottles engraved for groomsmen gifts for our upcoming wedding. We called around to a few shops for quotes and while Master Engravers wasn't the cheapest, we're so glad we chose them! It was the only shop that treated the project like art with suggestions for design and placement. The final product is BEAUTIFUL and we're so glad we decided to work with them!! A++ customer service and design execution. Highly recommend for any of your engraving projects. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for! read more

There it was the week before the 12 scouts in my husband's Den were to cross over to become Boy Scouts. Had someone to engrave gifts for each boy, but upon taking the Mess Kit to said engraver husband was told "sorry. Our machine is broke." Yikes! So, I pull up Yelp and go to searching. Sent out 3 messages with info of what we needed, and when. Held my breath. Decided to use Master Engravers. WOW! They were able to engrave the mess kits exactly how my husband wanted them. Picked them up today. And they did a FANTASTIC job! Could not be happier! Thank you SO much for your professional and kind attention! read more

This place has solidly, only 5 star, legit reviews for good reason!!! This was my first time getting anything engraved. I had Master Engravers engrave a happy retirement message on a vintage brass desk clock that I brought to them that was to be a retirement gift for a colleague. The customer service: Welcoming, down-to-earth, friendly, professional, good will / good vibes. The cost in my particular case: In the $50 range (a flat fee), paid upfront, for a desk clock that I brought in. About 5 short lines of type. The end result/ the work: Came out perfectly, beautifully. They live up to their namesake, and truly are "Master" engravers. hahaha. Headsup: They don't do "while you wait" engraving services. So, you'll have to inquire about what the lead time will end up being for your particular project when you have the consultation. In my case, gratefully, it ended up that they could have it done / ready by the next day (by the morning). If you need a hard good engraved-- (they also have items in stock that you can choose from/ purchase from them and have engraved, examples: trophies, medals, wine glasses, wooden boxed poker sets, statues, timepieces, etc.,)--, you absolutely cannot go wrong with this place. They're 100% seasoned veterans at the art of engraving and trustworthy, reliable. Two thumbs up! / Highly recommend! read more

We needed a quick turnaround for a 1st annual team awards ceremony. Being a local to Falls Church City, I walked over to check out the available merchandise. I had absolutely no idea what to look for: trophy, plaque, etc. After a few minutes of poking around, Eric suggested an etched beer mug which fits perfectly with the theme of our team. He also had our specific font on hand (which is pretty rare, actually) so I was able to send him a basic file of what we wanted and he took care of the rest. I received an email just a few hours later letting me know the mug was ready!! When I went in to pick it up, I was giddy with how cool it came out. Definitely one of the most memorable gifts I've seen in a while... read more

Worked patiently with me sorting through all of the font options to ensure I chose the best one for my copper mugs. Fast turnaround - flawless execution! I was thrilled and will be coming back again! read more

This is a great local business with excellent customer service. This is definitely more of a high-end type shop. While you can get run-of-the mill trophies and awards, they also offer a of higher end items that you can personalize for corporate awards or wedding gifts. So I'll say that the prices are a little bit on the higher end, but you are supporting a local business. The owner has been there every time that I have stopped by and he is always friendly and helpful. He's flexible and on timing and definitely wants you to be happy with the product. It's a bummer that they aren't open on Sundays any more, as that's why I originally got my trophy from here. All in all, though, this is a great local business. read more

They did an amazing job engraving the back of the watch I wanted to give to my husband at our wedding and in a timely manner! The engraving was beautiful! Thank you for working with me in such short notice (week before my wedding). read more

I recently used this place for a fantasy football last place trophy. They were great. I provided Master Engravers with a porcelain statuette and they guided me through the various options, including advising me against drilling through the base of the statuette out of concern of it cracking. They also gave me a host of base options and did the engraving. All in the league are quite pleased with the end result, which is rare in a league where we can't even agree on trade deadlines. If you're in a fantasy football league and don't have a trophy (you should), and I'd suggest considering Master Engravers. read more

Master Engravers did an excellent job personalizing a flatware chest for me. They provided wonderful service at a great price. Wow, what great service! With little notice and in 3 and 1/2 hours i have an award with engraving, and ready to present. Thank heavens for a company that understands others challenges and has the CAN DO atitutude to make it all happen. I so appreciate Master Engravers and sooo glad they are in the City of Falls Church and have easy in and out access for pick up as well. You might want to give them more time than I did! read more

I bought my husband a very expensive watch for his Christmas/ son being born/ anniversary present - all in one. I wanted to have it engraved but had been told by several engravers over the phone that it might not be doable depending on the metal. I brought it into Master Engravers, Inc. and was told traditional engraving was not possible but that he could do another type of engraving which I call "frosted" engraving. I don't remember what it's technically called, but it's cool! I didn't even know it was an option and even if traditional engraving was possible I'd still choose this style. It's like the white frosted letters that you see on glasses. The owner was very personable and easy to talk with. He explained everything to me and we bounced ideas back and forth because I wanted to put a heart on the watch as well. I picked up the watch today (Monday) and the engraving is great! It's exactly what I imagined it would look like. I cannot wait for my husband to open it! I'll try to put a picture on here if I can. Thank you!! read more

I was so happy to find Master Engravers. I was making a stained glass piece for a wedding gift and need names and the date etched on one of the pieces. The owner was so helpful especially when I realized I had made a mistake on the etching. The kind of service I found at Master Engravers is becoming rarer in the DC metro area. If you need engraving done or special awards made, don't even think about going anywhere else. They are A+++. read more
