I think it's a family run business (there are definitely a few people there who look like they share the same gene pool, that's how I'm basing my guess here). They fitted the locks on my new house last year. They were efficient and really reasonably priced. If you live nearby, ie, in Surrey Quays, Canada Water, Rotherhithe, Bermondsey, there's a whole host of other stuff on offer in the shop like key cutting, shoe repairs etc. They fixed my very high heeled boot once immediately when I was on the move and the zip broke (=awesome) so I could carry on with my night and head out. They also cut keys, and it's cheap. Every set I've had made up works perfectly. You'd be "locky" to know these guys. Mwa ha ha....

A huge, huge thank you to Rich, the manager at Timpson in the Ealing Broadway Centre. Rich provides…read morea key cutting service that is extremely professional, speedy and his customer service is second to none. He is responsive, friendly and really listens - and that is exactly what was needed when I got locked out of my flat! Rich really went the extra mile to give updates on my keys being cut by leaving me a voice mail message when I was at work and staying open later so that I could collect my key from him when my train was delayed. Thank you so much Rich - I would highly recommend your Timpson services and will continue to recommend you. Rachel, Ealing

Horrific Experience - avoid at all costs!…read more On Saturday 23rd Dec we visited Timpsons on Ealing Broadway for links to be removed from my watch and a battery inputted, we were told to return in 20 minutes. We did this and the manager (R Murray) informed me when he put the back of the watch on, the minute hand fell off the watch face, he said to come back in 20 minutes and he would fix it free of charge. 20 minutes later we returned to find he couldn't fix it, and we were asked to come back the next day to give him more time to remove the watch face (glass) to access the hands. We returned on Sunday 24th to find he still hadn't fixed this and he was to ask his area manager to look into this, and for us to return a week later (sat 30th dec), we were told if he couldn't fix it we could have the cash replacement out of the till and he did not mention this would potentially need to be sent to the workshop. 30th December, we returned to find the watch had not been repaired but he denied refunding us the money for the (brand new) watch he damaged. When we were finally returned the watch we found this had been scratched and there were deep groove marks surrounding the edge of my brand new watch. As a result, I requested details to speak to the Area Manager and he would not provide this either, I have now spent several weeks back-and-forth with their exasperating customer service team and I'm no closer to a resolution. Avoid at all costs! Note - citizens advice have also informed me this service is in breach of the customer rights act 2015!

It should be great - it's in a fantastic location, right in the underground station, so you can call in on your way to other places. However, I visited recently to ask them to mend my watch, as the seal between the frame and the screen was peeling away. The man behind the counter had no other customers, but refused to lookat my watch, telling me there was nothing wrong with it. When I asked again, he sighed, put it under his magnifying glass and very rudely told me there was nothing wrong with it - although you could see the sealant peeling away with the naked eye. A few days later, the screen fell off. I would recommend Timpsons in general, but I'd advise you to stay away from this branch if you can avoid it.
