I think it's a family run business (there are definitely a few people there who look like they share the same gene pool, that's how I'm basing my guess here). They fitted the locks on my new house last year. They were efficient and really reasonably priced. If you live nearby, ie, in Surrey Quays, Canada Water, Rotherhithe, Bermondsey, there's a whole host of other stuff on offer in the shop like key cutting, shoe repairs etc. They fixed my very high heeled boot once immediately when I was on the move and the zip broke (=awesome) so I could carry on with my night and head out. They also cut keys, and it's cheap. Every set I've had made up works perfectly. You'd be "locky" to know these guys. Mwa ha ha....

He was the most miserable individual I have met in a long time and was fixated with the price of the job even though I was locked in and quite distressed.He gave me the quote from the other side of the door , so I had little choice but to accept it. He said I would need to pay him £200 for the job as he had to drill the handle .it took 5 minutes and he had no interest in the fact that I was upset having been locked in for 4 hours in very hot temperatures and also being quite unwell at the time. This is not the normal kind of service I have experienced from this company in the past , they are usually kind and very helpful. This man had no customer focus only money and seemed to have had a personality bypass ?? Not a good look for the company at all.

To my pleasant surprise, the gentleman on the other end of the phone was most helpful and the prices they were going to charge me for replacing two stiletto heels and the heels of a pair of boots were much less expensive that I thought! Just as good was the 'while you wait' service. After a minor mission finding them (they are located inside Tooting market, but once in the market, there are plenty of signs directing you to the very back), my three pairs of shoes took just 30 minutes to fix. Enough time to do some fruit and vegetable shopping! The friendly and helpful service is enough for me to go to these guys every time. If you live in the area, don't go anywhere else - support local businesses!

The lovely bloke at Leather and Lace fixed them for me same day, at a good price, and did a fantastic job - the boots look like new!!! I can't recommend this place highly enough and will tell everyone I know to go there. It's easy enough to find - just go down the side of Primark and you'll find there's a side entrance into Broadway Market tucked away. Leather and Lace is one of the first units as you enter the market if you go in that way.
