I haven't ever gotten anything dry cleaned here, so I can't speak to that service, but they're great at alterations! I have taken a number of things in to be altered - from nice dresses to shower curtains - and they have done a great job each time. The seamstress is always very nice and asks questions to clarify exactly what I want done, even if I'm not sure how to tell her when I walk in the door. She has also been very accomodating when I bring something in at the last minute. Their prices are always extremely reasonable and everyone is always quick to help and super-nice! I've seen them offer help to other customers' cars when they're picking up their dry cleaning and they have a large load, plus they always offer me candy from their little bowl on the counter. I highly recommend this place for alterations and wouldn't hesitate to bring my dry cleaning here if I ever needed anything dry cleaned. read more

BEWARE of Master Cleaners and count your change! First of all, Master Cleaners does not give you a receipt when you pay cash, so you need to pay attention to the amount on your slip. I picked up two drycleaning orders at the same time and was told by the male owner that the total was $99. I didn't really think much about it and handed him 5 twenties. He gave me back $1. Then I went next door to Safeway to shop and I did think about it (yes, I can add $29 and $60 in my head. That equals $89 -- not $99). And I said, "Wait a minute! I was cheated." I have been to this drycleaner many times and the owner is not a moron who can't add. Besdies, the cash register adds the two slips together. The owner purposely told me the wrong amount. This was not an honest mistake. So I went back to the drycleaner and told the male owner he cheated me out of $10. He knew exactly what I was talking about. Didn't even question me. He just opened the drawer and sheepishly handed me $10 and said, "I guess I don't get my beer money this week." I gave this guy a disgusted look and left without telling him off -- because they still had a dress of mine and I didn't want them to ruin it on purpose in retaliation. Today I went back to get my last dress. I wanted to confront the owner and tell him I am not stupid and don't appreciate him trying to steal money from me. But he wasn't there. Instead I told his son what happened and the son said he knew nothing about the situation. I told the son that this place had lost my business for good. When I got home I called the son to tell him that I would be back to confront his father face to face and tell him what I thought of his rip-off ways. The son told me this was "harrassment." Oh puhleez. Stealing is illegal. And I have every right in the world to confront a thief. It's called JUSTICE -- not to mention sticking up for yourself and freedom of speech. I call this saying enough is enough of the dishonesty in America. I will most definitely go back to tell the owner what I think of his shady business practices. read more

This place is unethical. I brought my wedding dress here to be pressed a week before my wedding, to be picked up the day before. The lady at the register gleefully unzipped my garment bag to show me my dress, and we both fell awkwardly silent. There were black skuffs on my wedding dress. I was in total shock. I told her I was sure they weren't there when I dropped it off, and she actually told me it was no big deal and I would hardly pay attention to it. The scuffs would most certainly show in photography. They were at least 2-3 inches long and half an inch wide and black. I was in such shock that I paid her the $65 and walked out. I started crying, not knowing what to do. My husband (fiancé) Walked in and insisted she refunded my money when I told him what had happened. She told him we were bad people and would regret this. I'm compeletley dumbfounded at how you can aknowlage that you have dirtied a brides dress-the most expensive and important dress she will ever wear, then not only still charge for the pressing and not be accountable for what you have done. Especially when you're supose to be a CLEANER. I'm still in disbelief. read more

I have used Master Cleaners in the past for routine items and have not had any problem. Last week I took in a new (worn once or twice) sport coat to have a fairly inconspicuous, 1" diameter, spot removed. When I went to pick it up, I was told that the spot was ink (doubtful) and did not come out. The coat now had a 5" diameter, very obvious spot. Basically it is totally ruined. The spot couldn't be removed? OK. But it is to imagine how anyone could make that big a mess trying! The woman owner was totally unapologetic - actually blamed ME for contaminating their workspace!! Don't take anything of value to this cleaner, because they don't seem to feel any responsibility whatsoever for the items in their care. read more

I have been coming here fairly often for this past 8 months. The staff are quite friendly. They clean the clothing I bring in and have it ready for me by the time I ask for it, and replace buttons I do not notice are broken free of charge. Price wise they are average as far as simple cleanings go. They've also repaired a couple tears I had in my clothing, which have held up well so far and were priced cheaper than a different Dry Cleaner I used to visit. I have not had them make any adjustments beyond button replacements yet, so I cannot speak to the quality or pricing of alterations. read more

They saved the wedding!! My (young) friend had ordered 4 bridesmaid dresses from a lady in Romania! They arrived looking like they'd been drug across the Atlantic by a twenty mule team! They were ruined! Soaking wet and ink stained and some kind of oil/grease stain on the front, with only two weeks before the big day the bride was super bummed! Mr. and Mrs. Kim at Master Cleaners worked for more than a week on them! I was shocked and thrilled when they called and I saw they had restored the dresses to perfection!!
