Quite apart from the lovely greeting I get every time I visit, this drycleaner has a magic touch and manages to clean even stains that I think are there for ever. I do live and work quite nearby, but I would make the trip to Sidney to have them care for my fabrics. This is a 50-year-old heirloom where each piece has a story, and it is an ongoing project. Given there were signs everywhere emphasizing their no-strinkage safety with cotton fabrics, I stupidity trusted it. It returned shrunk, each tiny piece slightly smaller and buckled, therefore not matching the ongoing work at home, and many pieces ripped off. AND the tiny stain still remained. I had a near heart attack. Staff insisted they could "fix it". I returned take 2, stain still there, but quick shoddy repair of ripped pieces and they (kindly) insisted I did not have to pay for their mistake. Then, I spent 2 weeks at home re-calibrating to the shrunk piece, and another week removing ruined torn pieces (some were over a 100 years). Lesson learnt. NEVER take a vintage piece to any dry cleaner! A month on, I was still working on repairs.

This is another 'professional' dry cleaning company not to do business with. After inspecting my dress shirts after they were cleaned, I noticed ripping and other damage around the shoulder on one of the shirts. I brought the shirt back to the Owner looking for resolution. The owner told me that the damage was from my cat (I don't have a cat) and that there was no way possible that 'he' did the damage. I empathized with him knowing that as the Owner of his business, he could take situations like this personally. I explained that I wasn't saying it was 'him' but was simply stating that I did not cause the damage and that it was clear his business was responsible. We went back and forth and after a little while, it was clear that the Owner was not going to own the mistake or try and keep me as a customer. I explained that I was going to take my business elsewhere and he told me to have a good weekend. Absolutely pathetic. Next week I'll try my luck at yet another dry cleaner in town.

I have been a customer at this Laundromat for almost 2 years. I usually go once or sometimes twice…read morea week. I am always polite and respectful. The female staff is very professional. But I do have valid complaint regarding the manager who also owns the business. Today I did my laundry in an older machine. It's at the back row and 4.00. Because it was very busy , it was the only machine available, so I put it xtra clothes in the machine. This is the only time I have done this. I'm not the only customer who has done this and I most likely won't be the last. After loading the machine I went to sit outside , and then when I returned , the lid of the washer was up. The manager was at the sink and instead of saying to me, "Excuse me miss but you put too many clothes in the machine. Please don't overload next time". But he proceeded to communicate to me in a very condescending way, that was rude, and belittling, and rolling his eyes at me like I am completely stupid. Then he proceeded to tell me that the engine of the machine was giving off an unpleasant odour can't I smell it, and it's ruining the machine. And because of me the cost of doing laundry goes up for everyone. ( lol... all because of me heh lol) There was no odour. That machine is used over and over again, so for me overloading , is not going to be my fault. So then I asked him if it's ok if I put the lid down of the washer, so the wash could finish, there were 4 minutes left. He replied " Oh... what are you trying to ask me now?", in a snitty rude arrogant voice. Then he says " Oh and that's not washing." and rolls his eyes , shakes his head and rudely walks away. He also said that my clothes would be soaking wet when I take them out. My clothes were washed My clothes were not soaking wet. This was a very humiliating way to be treated.
