And the masters don't do this by being rude or being aggressive which I think is a stereotype of "breaking them down and building them back up" as they say but instead focus on being kind and slowly getting them out of their shell and Encouraging them to try new things. But jujitsu is most practical of the martial arts to build self-confidence and truly be able to defend yourself in any real life confrontation. Andre is the owner of this facility and has been instructing kids for years. My only regret I have is that we only finally took the plunge a few months ago. Jujitsu is so not mainstream that I was reluctant for my children to give it a chance despite all the positive things I had heard. Now, My kids love it! The class sizes are small with personalized instruction. This is martial arts at its practical best! Great culture and community.
