However, their patience and tailored regimen has assisted me in beginning my journey to health. I appreciate that there is an adult class I can attend at night, which doesn't interfere with my work or family obligations. As a parent, I did not want the franchise experience. I wanted someone with extensive background in Tae Kwon Do. I found that in Master Chen. Her impressive history, including being an international referee, drew my attention. Each of her instructors are carefully vetted. I have had great experiences with her staff and their interaction with the children. It was important to me that my child not just have a drop-off place where the kids just run around on their own whims. I wanted a structured program to teach discipline, have fun, and keep her exercising. Before I committed, they offered a trial class. My daughter had a lot of fun and immediately asked to sign up. She particularly likes her "kyah," a shout they make. There is usually an on-going special for new-to-the-sport families and we got a free uniform. Nice!

(They have classes for children, teens, and adults as well.) It's a half hour packed with action for the kiddos. I like that it is fast-paced, so little ones - like mine - don't have time to get too distracted, and they are definitely not bored. Master Hong, Master Lee, and the third Master (whose name I am not sure of!) are terrific. I see each Master as an excellent, caring teacher, encouraging strength and respect in the children. They have stretching exercises and fun, varied activities as well as lessons on techniques - stance, punching, kicking... I see this as definitely improving my child's motor skills and agility as well as building her esteem and self confidence... And respect for others. She's doing better with listening and following instruction/obedience. Most importantly, she's happy, exercising, and learning something new that she really enjoys. The facility is clean and well organized. Meeting with Master Hong to discuss programs before we attended a class immediately put us at ease and he understood any special concerns/accommodations we had. We are happy to support Master Hong and enroll our child here. The place has a great vibe. The kids all seem happy. And many have awesome skills!!

My daughter was doing really well and was enjoying it the director was evening complimenting her. But the same week these siblings were signed up so the director was getting paid twice as much than what I was paying. From my experience the director didn't want to lose them he was trying everything to keep those two kids there to sign up. The first week keep in mind the boy and girl was doing the same as my daughter but the girl wasn't doing as good as mine with the jump kicks. We all come another day that same week and the girl and boy they get awarded my daughter didn't get anything the whole time we was there those kids kept getting awarded and my daughter he stopped saying good job doing nicely it was all on those two so he can keep the money rolling in. I took my child out.
