So I signed my daughter up here 2 years ago the director was nice and seemed happy that my daughter…read morewas there. We signed up on a special and wanted to try it out. My daughter was doing really well and was enjoying it the director was evening complimenting her. But the same week these siblings were signed up so the director was getting paid twice as much than what I was paying. From my experience the director didn't want to lose them he was trying everything to keep those two kids there to sign up. The first week keep in mind the boy and girl was doing the same as my daughter but the girl wasn't doing as good as mine with the jump kicks. We all come another day that same week and the girl and boy they get awarded my daughter didn't get anything the whole time we was there those kids kept getting awarded and my daughter he stopped saying good job doing nicely it was all on those two so he can keep the money rolling in. I took my child out. Even she kept wondering why they were being rewarded and she wasn't and she started to get yelled at he said she wasn't doing the kicks right all a sudden and she was getting nervous.

My son just started going here, but it's a HUGE improvement from the ATA Martial arts program he…read moreuse to go to. There, they were so money hungry. Here, you can tell the instructor Thomas really cares about the kids' well being and learning. It's very affordable for all that you get, and you can tell the kids in class really love being here. The atmosphere overall is family oriented, and everyone helps one another. Thomas spends time with each student to ensure they are learning what they need. There's all levels here. It's a little different structure than what I was accustomed to when I was in karate, but he makes it work. :D

I came to watch my friend's son have a belt grading on a Saturday and I was amazed at how many kids…read more(and a few adult students) were at the event. The kids were all very well behaved and seemed as though they really enjoyed the event. I have not been to a normal class but it seems the instructors all know the children by their names and are all very nice! When I was a child, I also went to similar martial arts courses but they were not as large and as fun as the class that Cho was giving. I envied the small children having so much fun with each other and with the instructors. I believe this would be a great place for your little ones (or yourself) to come take courses. The venue is quite large in which there are 3 rooms with various equipment. They have mirrors in one room which I assume the children use to watch themselves while they are learning moves. The lounge area has a few couches where the parents and visitors can have a seat and watch the students. They even have three stalls where you can change. I was quite impressed by the one visit. Check it out if you or your child is interested in learning martial arts with some fun instructors.

Horrible experience at this facility. I'd give this rating ZERO stars if it was an option. The…read moreabsolute only thing good about this facility is the owner Mr. Cho. Mr. Cho is an honest, kind man and it's easy to see that he truly cares about the students. However Mr. Cho can't be everywhere at once. My kids were in the before & after school program and the lady who is responsible for that side of the business is horrible !!! Her name is Ms. Key and she is the one who would get the kids late to school, she's not patient and understanding that kids are kids. She would get my son to text me or my wife to see where we were at almost everyday when we were on the way to pick up our kids. We were never late picking up our kids so I have no clue why she would do that. The facility closes At 8:00 the childcare side closes at 6:30 we were alway there between 6:20-6:30 Never late ! The funny thing is when your child gets hurt by accident or another kid she nor her staff calls the parents it seems like they try to cover it up first. This lady also is a very big liar. She has to talk to all the parents everyday to tell them how bad their kids were. And if the kids weren't bad she'll make small stuff up. She'll continue to lie until she gets caught up in it and you confront her about it. Her assistant named Emily calls kids "little shits" and none of this is made up Ms. Key told us herself that Emily said that. After hearing bad reports everyday we got tired of it and just took our kids back to the daycare that they were at before joining taekwondo.

It's been five years now. The taekwondo gym has grown incredibly. When my kids started here, I…read moredidn't realize it was fairly new (literally first year). Many of the students were from Balli's waiting for him to open. Now, as a testament to Grand Master Ahn and his staff, there is probably 60 black belts (45 kids, about 15 teen/adults). Within those, probably about a dozen moving up to second degree black belts. The color belt classes have anywhere between 15-20 kids. Although retention for martial arts is especially challenging (especially high school age), he has done significantly well as is demonstrated by the sheer numbers. What to expect from class: 5-6 minutes stretching, 20 minutes focused on group workouts (cardio, drills, etc). The last 20 minutes is focused on belt specific requirements. Tuesday and Thursday afternoons have Women's Self Defense classes, which include the TKD belt requirements and self defense techniques. Their drills include grappling, breaking holds, and knife defense skills. These are generally taught by Master Anthony. Along the line if additional options available from K-Taekwondo include K-Tribe (morning workouts which varies daily: includes yoga, HIIT, outdoor boot camp, and barre). This is with instructor Gail. Taekwondo purists, this is both in my to scoff at. Gail's yoga workouts are no joke, she makes black belts cry. Saturdays are staying busy too with the addition of Gumdo, traditional Korean Swords classes. This is taught by Master Anthony, 5th Degree Black Belt in TKD and Gumdo.

My daughter took a year of Taekwondo with Master Ahn and it was amazing to watch my shy little girl…read morestart to open up and gain confidence while learning martial arts. Master Ahn has great classroom control and is strong on form and technique, but he also emphasizes good values and works with parents and teachers to encourage (and require) respect, discipline, self control, cleanliness, good study etc. The students all respect him, but he's also very friendly and personable. His studio is clean and bright. Highly recommend this studio and instructor.
