First of all, we were on a very tight schedule and needed to get our inspection done quickly. The inspector, Josh, came in on a Sunday afternoon and did a very thorough inspection. He talked to me throughout so I always knew what he was doing and why he was doing it. He also gave me a lot of recommendations for things to make our condo more user-friendly. He answered all of my questions and explained things to me in a way that I could understand with my very limited knowledge of all things related to the construction and inner-workings of a home. We had blocked out a time for roughly four hours but because our condo was pretty small, it didn't take Josh that long. In light of this, Josh readjusted the price so I ended up paying less than I expected. He also explained other available services but was very upfront with me about them not being necessary for my particular unit in an effort to save me money and not waste any of my time. I really appreciate that this is a company who is honest and fair and not out to take advantage of people like me who are clueless when it comes to this field. Finally, Josh was super diligent in getting home and getting our report written up and submitted so that we were able to make our closing on time. Everything easy to read and the report included very clear pictures that helped us know what steps we needed to take. If we move down the road, I'll definitely call By-Lions for the Home Inspection and will be recommending them to anyone I know who is buying a house. You couldn't ask for a better company to work with!

He was extremely personable and knowledgeable. Ward was very thorough and efficient in his inspection, which covered every level and every space inside and outside the house, including the garage, attic, crawl space, roof and yard. He took time during his inspection to point out and explain his findings, as well as suggest low cost alternatives for repairs, areas to monitor, and tips for future maintenance. In fact, his very detailed and informative report was available on the same day as his lengthy inspection. He has followed up to ensure our satisfaction, and offered to answer any questions we may have once we read the report.
