Prompt, professional, and friendly I was able to get an appointment quickly and the report was done the same day. Shawn did a great job! read more

Super prompt. Great breakdown. Great attitude. Thank you guys again for my home inspection!

We recently had a home inspection with Linkhorn home inspection. Shane came in and did an incredible job --treated this inspection like it was his own house. He was very patient with the questions that we had. I would definitely recommend Linkhorn home inspections for your needs going forward. read more

David was very helpful and friendly. He was patient with answering all of our questions. Working with Linkhorn was a good experience.

Inspection report claimed my fireplace was "decorative" only.... I use it every winter! check or ask before making assumptions, so many things like this in their report. very disappointed read more

Good inspection! The prepared a great report and completed it immediately. They followed up afterwards for any questions

I've been trying to get in touch with Linkhorn Home Inspectors for the past two days regarding some questions on my inspection report. I called four times and have not received a return call. Until now, I believed Linkhorn offered excellent customer service, but this experience has been disappointing. It gives the impression that the company prioritizes payment over addressing customer concerns. Based on this experience, I would not feel comfortable recommending Linkhorn to future clients. read more

Isaac Oatney was on time and very thorough. His inspection and showed things that can be fixed by our builder that will make our home better with items to be corrected prior to our final walk through and closing. Thanks for all you did Isaac. read more

On the bright side, the inspector they sent out for my apartment was professional, polite and seems to have done a good job. They were efficient ins scheduling but definitely made a mistake as far as the date I chose. My real estate agent had to follow-up with them to get that corrected and everything else went smoothly. On a negative side, they sold my contact information to ADT and I started getting spam emails and phone calls. I really hate that companies do this. Just be aware that they will pass on your email and phone number. read more

David came to do our inspection on our first home we are in the process of buying. He was very informative & did a thorough job. As first time home buyers, we have peace of mind going into this and are confident in our next steps because of him. The process was seamless and easy. He even offered & recommended he come back when the snow is gone to look at our roof as well. I would recommend this group to anyone who is a home buyer! read more

John was professional, knowledgeable and happy to answer all of our questions. He provided good insight when answering questions. John went above and beyond for our first home at a great price point. read more

Dylan was excellent! Super friendly and personable. Also very knowledgeable and informative. I felt like he went the extra mile to make sure all my questions were answered and that everything in the home was inspected. He took his time and was very thorough. I would recommend Linkhorn Home Inspections 1000 percent! read more

I am selling my property. The buyers set up a home inspection with Linkhorn. I was completely shocked to read the report when I received it. Many and I mean many... things he wrote in his report were completely unfounded, inaccurate and "his opinions ". One of many things was that a building should be removed from the property because it was not built to code. This building was a 12 x 14 shed. Build by the Amish. Inspected by fairfield county. A fireplace heater claimed was only "decorative" but we had a stainless steel liner put in and have used it for 23 years now . This kid knows absolutely nothing about home inspections!!! There are 20 plus items that i can easily show he was wrong about. I called the company and the secretary said someone would get back with me but only the inspector called me... what a joke! Please, NEVER use this company! They, he.... killed the sale of my home and the buyers new home with the lack of his knowledge. I know for a fact that this is a company that has done this to multiple people. BEWARE!!! STAY AWAY FROM LINKHORN INSPECTION GROUP!!! read more

I highly recommend this company if you're thinking about getting your home inspected. Matt, our inspector, was prompt, professional, and very informative about all the questions I threw at him. He used both pictures & video to explain to us various situations throughout the inspection. He gave us some choices & services we could call to see about getting repairs done, too. He/they were very trustworthy & believable. We used another inspection company before Linkhorn came out, & Matt found & showed us areas that the previous inspector had said were okay & not to worry about. Linkhorn also mentioned things that should have attention paid to them soon, that the previous inspector never even mentioned. If we needed an inspection again, we wouldn't even shop around for reviews or prices. We'd simply give Linkhorn another call. Seriously, don't go anywhere else. read more

The kindest and most professional inspectors I've ever met. Kid friendly and culturally aware too! We worked with Amer and Gary at Linkhorn to get a Franklinton Farmhouse we were considering buying inspected. Amer and Gary were timely -- arrived early, informative and extremely thorough and detail oriented in their inspection and walking us through the house + the inspection processes. We'll definitely be working with them on our next property inspection. Thanks guys! read more

Great experience with the company and inspectors. I was on the buy side and did the inspection for myself as we waived remedy. It was nice to have such a thorough review. I added the Radon and was impressed that they did a multi-day test. Denny Gray is a class act and incredibly knowledgable. I also appreciated that they were more open with perspective vs just observation. The follow-up was crazy fast and I had the report that night I think. Was super fast. read more

Sean came to our new build and was very thorough! He provided a timely report with specific details of items to be corrected prior to closing. We will hire him back for a 11 month inspection prior to our warranty expiration. Definitely recommend Linkhorn! read more

I would not recommend using Linkhorn. If you do, DO NOT USE MICHAEL. He was a total let down and missed a lot of items. He was too lax and let everything slide. We ended up having an item missed, then not working after we moved in. Linkhorn made excuses and did not cover under their "warranty". Wasted promise. Very disappointed and a waste of $600. read more

We requested home inspection they were very quick in response and scheduling. Shawn came for the inspection was please to meet me in person, willing to show me around which very reassuring. He took his time to inspect the house and did a good job. Report was also quick and comprehensive along with pictures. Strongly recommend their service. Best read more

David from Linkhorn arrived on time and preformed a thorough home inspection. The inspection report was sent that evening with detailed information and photos of the inspection findings. We wanted a 3rd opinion on what was going on with our roof and attic. One roofer said the shingles were defective and suffered from heat damage. The 2nd roofer said there were only 4 shingles with a small mar and there were no shingle granules in the gutters which would have been a sign that we needed to replace roof. The inspector from Linkhorn verified what the 2nd roofer told us and that our roof we had put on 7 years ago was fine. Linkhorn also has good phone communication and showed up a half hour early. I highly recommend Linkhorn. All 3 companies showed us photos and emailed us their findings. Roofer #1 only emailed us an undetailed estimate undated and no summary. He said he was going to email us these things but didn't. Both roofers have been in business for a long time. So, I'm glad I had Linkhorn out to clear things up. 09-2024 Columbus, Ohio. read more

We had Dillon come out to inspect a small older home we want to put our disabled cousin in. I had mr Ryan inspect a possible house that I wanted to purchase as a first time home buyer and he was a pleasure to speak with! He was kind, friendly, honest and knowledgeable! I felt comfortable around him and he helped me to understand things that I never would even look at when purchasing a house! I was scared at first but he eased my mind and walked me and talked me through the process!!! I most definitely will be using them for my next home inspection! He was on time and even with all the snow he still went out his way to do his job to the best of his ability!!!! read more

I am so pleased with the thorough and quality work my inspector Matt completed yesterday! Matt did a great job. While I wasn't present for the inspection,I felt like I was with the detail and pictures included in the report.

Hired them for an inspection, which I wasn't able to be physically present for. I was called immediately after the inspection and given a detailed report over the phone. They also emailed me their notes with plentiful pictures regarding the recommended repairs for the property. Excellent work and experience! read more

I was very pleased from start to finish with Linkhorn home inspection. Easy to book, polite office team, and a good price. Steve, my inspector, was thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. He gave a verbal summary after examining each area, answered all questions and emailed a full written report that afternoon. I highly recommend. read more

I am going to have to change my review. After I had given a GLOWING review regarding this company and its inspector. I found out that the oven was left on after the inspection. This is a serious safety hazard/risk. It was very unprofessional and almost cost us our contract with the seller due to how upset she was. We now can no longer remedy anything until after we gain possession of the home. Luckily we are still going to be able to continue with the sale. While John was very kind and personable, an "honest mistake" almost cost me my future home. And was asked "what do you want us to do?" When addressing the situation from the buyer standpoint. Original post: John Peck did an EXCELLENT job inspecting our new home. He was very thorough in his explanations and was very friendly. My husband and I attended the inspection, and we are so happy that we did and got to meet John. He answered all the questions we had for him. We are extremely satisfied with John and Linkhorn and are grateful we chose them for our inspection needs. read more

We are buying a new house and our realtor gave us 3 inspection companies to choose from. After checking reviews about all 3 companies and checking out their websites, I decided to call and ask all 3 questions about what they offered. The first company I called, it was like pulling teeth trying to get them to answer some of the questions. 2nd company was better but the person didn't seem to want to spend any time answering my questions. LINKHORN was the last of the 3 companies and wow what a difference, the person answered all my questions. I felt really comfortable about making LINKHORN my inspection company. I went there when they were just about finished inspecting the property, they went over everything they looked at with my wife and I. My wife asked them about 30 questions and they were happy to answer each one, they even showed us things we never thought of like where the main water line was that came into the house along with more! We could not be any happier with this company. Thank you Dillon and Chad you guys did an amazing job and thank you for taking time with us!! If you are needing an honest and awesome company to inspect your new house, LINKHORN is the one to call. read more

I was not looking forward to this house inspection. My last one from another company was awful and I bought that house, big mistake. This inspection was far different. Thank you Linkhorn, and Jim for your professional service Hands down the best Highly recommend read more

Stephanie is the best! We recently chose Linkhorn to do a home inspection on a recent purchase. Their office kindly followed up immediately with questions and assistance. Paid twice as much as other inspection quotes for what was perceived as above average quality from Linkhorn. After being in the house for 6 months I can say they've missed almost every major thing you could. Plumbing and bathroom fixture issues, well and water problems, roof leaks, radon problems, sump pump issues, dishwasher issues and now I've come to find out HVAC / AC issues. I was buying a house from out of state and really trusted this team to tell me what I was getting into. I had several calls with Denny to explain my situation and work with him on my biggest concerns. It wasn't the small stuff I was worried about. While they listed mundane things on the report to show some sort of value, the major ticket items are still costing me. And when I've taken my proof back that they clearly missed things they gave me the "we have no liability to you for those issues" standard message. This company does not stand by it's work whatsoever. I mean the upstairs bathroom tub leaks at the drain. Any amount of water for any amount of time would have shown a leak. How could they have missed this stuff? Please, please, trust me when I tell you. Go somewhere else. It's a complete scam. read more

This company conducted an inspection on my condo and broke one of the toilets. I'm assuming the guy was standing on the toilet to get into the attic or was completely roughing up my condo. I have tried to call them and nobody answers. There was trash left on my kitchen counter for some sort of sensor device and they left trash in my mulch out front. I have had 2 VA inspections on my condo in the last 5 years for a purchase and some of the "issues" this company found were false. Watch these guys in your home!!!! read more
