They just charged her 268.00 to quote her 9000.00 worth of things that needed fixed. And did nothing else. DO NOT send anyone into them that are not mechanic savvy in the slightest. They will take advantage of them!

For some context, I ordered an exhaust kit, and got a quote for them to install it, nothing bad…read morethere, but when they got the car in, they said they would have to build their own kit since the kit I provided didn't fit right, so they ended up doubling the price, the exhaust they had "built" runs literally right against the driveshaft on my car, so when it is on the lift, you can't spin the driveshaft, and if you go over any large bump that puts stress on the suspension, it rubs on the drive shaft, which isn't safe. Another thing I had discovered when having my car on the lift: they did not use their own pipe, every single piece of my provided exhaust kit was under the car, just kind of cut up and re-angled. So I got double charged for no reason, and basically a bad job done. Also the welds leak less than 2 months after getting the exhaust installed. So that's wonderful.

Neil adviced me that it was likely the front main seal of the motor(Toyota 22RE).Neil gave me a cost breakdown of the parts/labor and a brief destription of the procedure required.His day was completley booked so I elected to change out all the parts myself on the side of a parts store parking lot. I was unable to torque the crank bolt down to the required 160 ft lbs as the vehicle is an automatic. I drove back to Palmer's Auto and asked if he could help me torque the bolt down.
