I immediately assumed that we had lost power steering fluid. The next morning, I searched Yelp for an auto mechanic. Blue Lake Auto popped up with four stars. I called and spoke with the manager. He said that he was all booked up until Monday. I explained our situation and then I think he must have took pity on us. He told us to drive on over. When we got there, they took care of us right away. I must say that I was very appreciative of the fact that they didn't laugh their tails off after they figured out what was wrong. I had accidentally put the truck in 4-wheel drive! And the liquid that was leaking? From the condensation on the air conditioning unit of course! Maybe they laughed at us after we left, but they were true professionals while were there. If I were a local resident, I would definitely go there for all my auto care needs!

They just charged her 268.00 to quote her 9000.00 worth of things that needed fixed. And did nothing else. DO NOT send anyone into them that are not mechanic savvy in the slightest. They will take advantage of them!

Neil adviced me that it was likely the front main seal of the motor(Toyota 22RE).Neil gave me a cost breakdown of the parts/labor and a brief destription of the procedure required.His day was completley booked so I elected to change out all the parts myself on the side of a parts store parking lot. I was unable to torque the crank bolt down to the required 160 ft lbs as the vehicle is an automatic. I drove back to Palmer's Auto and asked if he could help me torque the bolt down. He paused his work and helped me out with no hint of iritation over me basically wasting his time/money. Upon leaving I asked him for a card so I could leave this review. Brought my vehicle in for new tires, alignment, and an oil change. Took about 2.5 hours to get back…read moreon the road. Got home and walked around inspecting my new tires and noticed that they had removed the custom valve stems replacing them with what looks like some old junk, I called the manager of the store and she told me that they dont replace those kind of valves, (basically calling me a liar), then she invited me to bring it back that they would replace the stems with some shiny ones...that smacks of arrogance. I have not started my vehicle for a few days went out to use it today and noticed oil stains on the garage floor never had trouble with leaks before but there it was oil leaking. Now I have to go to another repair shop to have it looked over...chaachhiinggg...Find somewhere else to do your business...hell I don't know if the u-joints were greased on the drive line. In closing it doesn't seem to bother the management that they have thieves and liars working for them...

My husband went in to Tony's 2 auto to drop off his truck for an oil change today ,got a phone call…read morefrom Tonys shop asking if he wanted and air filter and a cabin filter because there was no cabin filter in were is supposed to be , my husband told the person that called him wait a second last time I brought my truck in you guys called me back and said that the cabin filter and air filter were ok so what's going on someone didn't check the filters last time or what and just lied about it and charged him over 200$ for putting the filters on so he had been driving with his truck for a few months trusting that Tonys auto shop took care of him the first time pretty messed up.
