I had ordered replacement lenses online and was planning to pop them out myself...but when they arrived I was really struggling to get the old lenses out. I had asked a store in the mall once, and they would not do it. Knowing I was likely to break them myself if I continued to try, I stopped in to Eyetique to see if they would swap the lenses for me. The woman working in the store (Susan) was super helpful. She had the old lenses out and the new lenses ready to go in seconds. She even provided a replacement case from the brand since mine had long ago fallen apart. Five minutes fixed something I've been avoiding for months!

This morning I had a 9 am appointment at the office in Wexford. I went to Waze and typed in eyetique the directions that pulled up were for the one off of the Warrendale exit. I didn't think anything of that. I got there early at 8:55 am and was told that I had the wrong location. The lady that greeted me was very nice. She told me where the actual Wexford location was and called to let them know I was on my way. When I got there the gentleman that helped me was very nice. I apologized for being late and making such a stupid mistake by going to the wrong location. He said no worries you're good. He proceeds to get the tablet ready for me when another employee walks in and also another customer. The gentleman helping me told the customer he would be right with them. Then out of NOWHERE comes Heather Snyder and screams SHE WAS 20 MINUTES LATE FOR HER APPOINTMENT WE ARE SEEING THE 9:30 APPOINTMENT FIRST. I said I don't care I would wait then I thought about why she was yelling. I would expect them only to take me after their scheduled appointment because I was late no matter the reason. She is very unprofessional and there is a way to talk to people. At that point, I got up and left my money spends elsewhere. She needs to learn how to talk to people. After her yelling there was no way I would let her check my eyes! Eyetique McKnight Road's location was my favorite. And again the gentleman who helped me was super duper professional.

I wanted to find a new eye doctor near my house and my neighbor suggested this practice. I am so glad I tried them. They are fantastic! Dr. Rebecca L. Matscherz saw me and did my exam. She was very patient and informative about my eye condition and what I needed to do to properly care for my eyes. She was just terrific. Her staff is very nice too and they are super helpful and courteous. I need to see a specialist and the staff called and made my appointment for me. How wonderful was that?! They have a nice selection of glass frames to choose from in their waiting area. They were super careful about checking patient temperatures and asking COVID related questions and they supported social distancing to a great extent. I felt very safe there. The Eyecare Boutique is my new vision provider in the North Hills area.

No longer do you have to look through lenses and have one after another glass lens plopped in front of you and "better" or "worse" it. Now it's all automated and the finite adjustments with the computer controls make it a sure thing that you'll get the best prescription possible. Over the years he's referred me for additional testing, as needed and he's fully gained my trust and respect for his professionalism and skills. He's very personable and easy to carry on a conversation and laugh with - great attributes in a doctor who spends a good part of the exam less than 10 inches from your face! When I need glasses, he has gotten my prescription perfect every time. The adjustment period to the new lenses has literally been just a few minutes. I've always found frames I loved at his office easily, too. The office staff are always pleasant and personable and Beth can do a quick fix on some maladjusted frames in a matter of seconds anytime I stop in for a tweak. The office is great about processing all the eye insurance claims and the patient never has to get involved. The thing I appreciate most is that they start appointments on-time & seem to do a thorough job. A vision technician does the preliminary things & then the optomotrist finishes & writes a prescription for glasses. With my insurance, there's no out-of-pocket cost for this exam, but I'm sure that wouldn't be the case for everyone. They also sell/make glasses, which seem pricey, but I feel to be of high quality.

The parking lot appears to be appropriately sized for the types of businesses and their numbers of customers, and I have always found a parking space during my visits. This mall is located on Perry Highway, so it has easy access and many potential customers passing by.

I called and scheduled an appointment, gave my insurance information to the scheduler who verified…read morethey accepted. I called my insurance company and confirmed the doctor and facility were in network and got a referral. I was called from the office that my appointment needed to be canceled and rescheduled and the next available was 2 months out. I alreadyed waited 4 months but ok. Showed to the appointment and was turned away because they wouldn't accept my insurance. I asked why when this was verified at scheduling? The receptionist could only say i was told no. I asked why they didnt call me before hand? Why didnt you verify my insurance before I showed up and wasted my time? She said i dont know, i dont do that. I asked to call her billing department and she said theres no department, just people who work from home. I asked if they had a phone number and she did give. No one would tell me why they wouldnt take my insurance and waiting 6 months for this appointment to be told then. Absolutely ridiculous. The receptionist had little to no knowledge and could only offer me a sticker for my trouble. Then 3 days later i received and automated text stating it was time to schedule my next appointment. This place is a joke. I cant speak for the doctors but the office staff are costing you time and money.
