Jerry brings top notch service…read more My condo building had some water leaks in the basement, so we needed to waterproof the basement. Originally, I thought patching the inside of the basement would suffice. I found Complete Paving & Masonry on Yelp, and reached out; Jerry responded very quickly and was able to come by to provide a visual inspection and a quote. He recommended that work needs to be done on the outside in order to fix the inside. We took a walk around the outside and he provided points of what work needed to be done. Essentially, he recommended to dig up the dirt around the foundation; patch and seal the foundation; put in some gravel and then cover it up with dirt. This would help prevent water from leaking through the foundation into the basement/garage. After conversing with my fellow condo neighbor, we hired Jerry's team to do the work. Within a week, they were able to come on site and start the work. It took them 4 days to do the work (original quote was 3-5 days). Jerry and his team did a magnificent job. They went above and beyond the original estimate's work at no extra charge to improve the water flow surrounding the condo. They also did some additional patch work on the outside of the condo. When the job was completed, Jerry walked me through everything his team did and why it was done, so I was able to understand the reason for the work. Jerry is friendly, honest, and provides top notch service. I highly recommend his team for any mason work.

They pressure you to sign a contract for the work and the work is subpar. It does not meet code or professional workmanship. They sat in my house for couple of hours until i signed despite the fact that i told them i had to check with my attorney and would let them know in the morning. They refused to leave. I should have called the police right then and there. I did contact the police later that week when i saw the results of the job. I also checked with city hall to see if they had pulled a permit as I was told by them that they had the inspector coming next week. This was after they finished the job and wanted payment. Lo and behold city hall said no permit was pulled and no inspection was ordered. Their names are Freddie and Matthew. The work was done by 2 gentlemen who do not speak English. I will be taking legal action on this matter to recoup what i paid since I have to have all the work completely redone and it has comprised the integrity of our 4 season room. I also just recently lost my husband and they preyed on that. Unfortunately, i was scammed. I repeat, do not use them.

This will be an odd review, because I did not actually hire the company. That said, Michael came…read moreover to view my job, which involved excess water off my property impacting my next door neighbor. I thought I was going to have to rejigger all of my gutters for thousands of dollars, but Michael identified the real problem as lying in my neighbor's driveway, which had a dip next to his basement door where all of the water collected. Plus, his drainage system had never been cleaned (he's owned the building for 24 years). The solution then that Michael urged us to was first for my neighbor to contact Roto Router to clean out his drains. In the event that didn't do the trick, another easy solution he suggested was redirecting my downspout from the back of the building to the front. So, while I had no need to hire Primestone, the advice my neighbor and I received (for free!) was sufficient to resolve the problem for the present, and likely into the future. Many thanks Michael!

I shared with him what I thought was possible and Michael and team filled in the details. They ended up giving me a whole new backyard. Michael met us at the stone gallery and was patient with us while we discussed options and tweaked the proposal. He worked with us and was onsite every day. They worked very fast. They did all of the following in 3 weeks and 2 days - took down a huge rock wall 4ft x 80ft, removed 6ft ft of earth behind that, added several inches of rock and paving substrate to remove the need for a step on 2 doors, put up a new huge retaining wall, and replaced 3 small ones with steps. They did all this on a hilly property. The grass was damaged in spots and they brought in new soil and flattened it out and seeded it. They are not cheap but provided a good value and likely a better product than other quotes. One example is using some of the extra retaining wall blocks to stabilize the paver patio stays in place on both sides. Every weekend they cleaned the street and made sure to not block traffic everyday. I have more projects for Michael and team and look forward to further improving my property. I'll add more photos when all the grass comes back and I get better patio furniture.
