The massage was good so i cant give a 1 star. I went in for a 1 hour massage, i walked in and out of their front door in 45 min. This included me getting undressed massaged redressed, then asking why at the front desk to which they responded "our 1 hour massage is only 50 min since dressing and undressing is accounted for" i then told them when i got there and how long i had been there in total and they just said "we will talk to your therapist, would you like to leave a tip?" I normally dont leave bad reviews but cheating customers then asked for a tip instead of providing at least some customer service. Wouldnt recomend read more

I received a gift certificate for mother's day to come in so I was very excited to have a kid free hour + relaxation. I've only ever had 2 other professional massages before and I let my therapist know ahead of time. She was very rushed and didn't explain anything at all. I was told there would be a consultation ahead of time to go over what you wanted/areas to avoid etc but I never got that. My therapist made passive aggressive comments twice during my visit. I was having a fairly pleasant experience until I met the Therapist, JoAnn. I was very displeased that my face and scalp were massaged, which could have been avoided if I had a proper consultation. I left with oily hair and screwed up make up and was very displeased about that. Maybe this place is better for regulars/those who have an established understanding of what they want-- I would NOT recommend this for a massage every once in a while or for newcomers. They also are too pushy about their membership prices. read more

The massage therapist I saw is Jessica and she is absolutely wonderful. She incorporates Reiki energy healing work into her massage. The massage rooms are clean and softly lit with new age music playing. Following the massage you are invited to use their "Hydroluxe" bed (it's like a waterbed with rollers that run up and down the length of your back and body applying pressure for 15 minutes.) She seemed inexperienced and the pressure was nothing. I only really got about 45 minutes of massage for what was supposedly an "hour" . The staff at the front desk couldn't seem to figure anything out and they tried to hard sell me on a membership. My fiance and I were in need of a massage so I decided to go through Groupon to find a good deal. Massage Luxe was one that popped up and we decided to give it a try. The Groupon offered a one hour massage plus a 15 minute hydroluxe session for $29 dollars. Can't really beat that price right? We arrived there a few minutes early and was greeted by the staff in the lobby. They quickly took us to the waiting room where they offered cucumber and lemon water, trail mix and coffee. It is a very nice facility and they even have iPads for us to fill out the paperwork. After the paperwork was completed, we were greeted by our masseuse. We each had a different experience on our one hour massage. I thought my masseuse overall was good. Not the best but not the worst. She was very friendly and I enjoyed it. My fiance, on the other hand, did not enjoy his experience. He thought his masseuse didn't use enough pressure and did not ask for his input. He came out of the massage wanting another one. Not really what you want after a massage. After our massages, we had a chance to try their hydroluxe machine for 15 minutes. I thought it was okay. Don't think it's my thing. They only have one machine so you have to wait for others to be done with their 15 minute session. My fiance decided to pass on his because he did not enjoy his experience there. I started coming to this place due to a groupon I received. Couldn't beat the price then by signing up they gave me a free hour so I came back for second and third time. Was super pleased with the massages I got. Granted the management needed work but now it's under new management they are really turning this place around. The therapists are actually sticking around which is a plus too. I have been getting deep tissue from barb and Elise and omg 90 min massage is put to good use. I'm loose for weeks at a time. So after I get done with a military's mission, I come back and they mash me back into shape. Strongly recommend trying them out especially if coupon or deal involved. They also have member specials which are great deals so it's not just new people who get the perks. Plus you get access to the hydro luxe bed. Fancy waterbed with keys that rub your back. I signed up for "buy one massage, get one free" and just found out I have been charged for 4 months because they say I signed up for the month to month program, which I did not. They won't work with me and they won't let me give my massages away because I am a "patient" and the massages are non transferable. This seems like fraud. And never got the free massage. I arrived early to fill out my new customer paperwork. My appointment was at 11, had my paperwork well done before then, but yet wasn't greeted by the therapist until 11:10. The massage itself was just okay. When I flipped from my back to my stomach, the therapist excused himself to use the restroom. The massage ended at 11:55. This place is a complete rip off! First of all, their clocks are set 5 minute faster in the room.. and the masseuse leaves you in the room for 10 min to undress and dress cutting even more into your time. They also take you into the room late. So my hour massage was only 40 minutes. When I complained to the desk, she didn't care one bit and said that's just the way it is. She said that it's policy to set clocks faster and no one gets full hour massage even though we came 5 minutes earlier! Don't go here.. it's a complete waste of your time and money read more

They wouldn't let me out of the contract without serious issues and in the end when I was at a zero balance they got me again telling me I had to pay for a massage I never received. ML tells you at the time of your contract that you can suspend your account at anytime but what they don't tell you is that once your account is suspended you lose the hours that you have accrued. Which makes no sense because I PAID FOR THEM. Well the unprofessional individual that is managing this shame flips the script and says, "They don't sell hours they sell a memberships" Pretty much confirming that I got hustled. Had a coupon for a $35 massage. Great deal, so we gave it a try. The place is nice, feels comfortable, and looks clean. We were told to arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork, and did. After finishing the paperwork in 5 minutes we sat for over 20 minutes and were taken into rooms 10 minutes after our appointment time. Neither me nor my girlfriend particularly enjoyed our massages. My massage had inconsistent pressure, where part of the time I was cringing in pain, and part of the time wanting more pressure. My favorite part of a massage is getting my hands and fingers done, and they were disappointingly not touched once. My girlfriend says her massage did not have enough pressure and felt that she did not experience any benefit after it was finished. Our massages ended about 5 minutes short of the 60 minutes promised. When we finished we went to the front desk to pay, and received a hard sales pitch to join their membership program. I had to say no at least 3 times before they stopped trying to sell us on this 'deal'. Even if I had been relaxed at the end of my massage this sure wouldn't have helped me stay that way. I will not be coming back, not even for the $35 price that we paid. There are plenty of good massage places around, I would recommend going to one of those. read more

This is a membership based spa like Massage Envy. However I've been here twice with a gift certificate and had a good experience each time. My recent visit was with Dennis. He was very good, gave a relaxing massage, that was just as good, if not better than other massages I've received from high end spas. In comparison to other membership based places I would rate Massage Luxe much higher. I'm not sure I believe in the membership concept as i would rather pay for when I need the service. I recommend Massage Luxe to anyone needing a quality massage for a fair price. Beds are heated, lighting is dim, music is quiet, and atmosphere is soothing. One recommendation for improvement would be to add scent to the rooms. They don't smell bad, they just don't smell like anything. Other than that its worth trying to see if you like it. read more

This was my second massage here and I will definitely be returning. My first massage was through a groupon and Nicole was my therapist. She did a great job listening to exactly what I told her was bothering me (my upper back) and really helped alleviate that pain. I saw Nicole again this second time and asked her to focus only on my upper back since I have a lot of pain and tension there from my work as a server. She did a great job focusing on that and surrounding areas to really help release tension. The front desk staff is always quick to check me in and get me settled so I can start relaxing. The Hydrobed is unlike anything I've ever used and is really awesome and relaxing for pre/post massage. I did sign up for the monthly fee, and the contract is pretty straight forward. There's a two month obligation, but after that you can cancel anytime (in person). I will definitely be returning and will be coming back to have Nicole continue to work on my back! NO one told me this when I called, I felt totally duped and should have left without paying. The only reason I paid was because I felt obligated to pay the masseuse, not her fault for the "Shady advertising deal". I will never go back because of it. I was enticed by Heidi at the front desk to sign up for a membership after using my groupon. After an excellent first massage with Stacy, how could I say no? The membership is reasonable (right around $60 per month) and includes a one hour massage and unlimited 15 minute visits to the HydroLuxe, a water powered massage table that is super sweet. Today, I had my second visit and another great massage with Monica. The staff here is awesome and I feel confident I'd get a great massage and a friendly encounter no matter whom I see.
