She is easy to talk to and makes great post treatment suggestions. Her space is very clean, welcoming, and nicely decorated. Her prices are straightforward, and I love that she has online booking. I was immediately impressed walking into the business, it's very clean and relaxing, cute decor and smelled really good from the essential oils. The treatment room was peaceful to walk into. Holly explained what to expect and had me lay on a heated crystal (or salt?) mat, it was cozy! Her presence was incredibly calming and the experience felt like a very deep meditation. I truly felt lighter at the end and Holly had mentioned certain problem areas that aligned with things I had been through (without telling her anything about my situation). This is a session you must go into with an open mind. It was so helpful for me and I hope others have the opportunity to see her. I can't wait to go back to try a massage!

I guess you could say that a few years back when I went to Judy I was a bit skeptical. I…read moredefinitely took what she had to say with a grain of salt. Now, years later, I can honestly say that I am speechless at how accurate she was when we had our reading. Although, there are some things that have yet to come to fruition: She said she sees me with three children, and at the time I was with my ex-husband with two kids. Now I'm with a someone who I consider a soul mate and we have talked about having, possibly, one of our own. She also made many references to my Ex and I going through a "rough" patch and the value of communication (hint, hint) now we are divorced. Judy has you bring in a blank cassette tape because she likes to record the session so that later you can go back and listen to it. If anything, she is a very calm, insightful, counselor that is full of positive energy and can help suggest ways for you handle your stresses. My blog has an entry about this place, in case you're still needing a little more info,p Sometime in the near future, I will be going back for another reading. Hopefully, she is still doing them.

It's difficult finding a legitimate massage on a budget in the East Bay under $150 per session. I was charging my car in the muir station shopping center when I noticed the sign of Harmony and Serenity . The first thing is they offered foot massage and massage chair, which is a good thing in regard to legitimately. As in many of these small spas, there is no front desk assistant. I was greeted by Amy (who I believe is the manager). I explained my condition(s) and she seemed knowledgeable so I decided to try 1 hour. She suggested Mary as my therapist. She spoke nominal english but understood what I needed. Mary did an excellent job working my lower back muscles, calves and the tightness in my shoulders. She was very professional from start to finish. But what sold me was the works on my legs. While walking back to my car, the limp was gone and I no longer did the hop along Cassidy. Im there every week. cost? less than $100 (65 a hour and I tip $30) Highly recommend fyi. If you decide to try Mary, I suggest you book in advance.

I found a recommendation on Nextdoor for a deep tissue massage therapist and got in touch. She had a last-minute opening on a Tuesday, which meant I had to take off work, but I was happy to arrange that. First, she has a heated massage table. That was very nice. Then she worked on my back, and then the rest of my body, and I felt like a new person afterwards. She said it would take a couple days to have all the work set in, and she was correct, but as I write this about three weeks later, the pain is gone and I credit the massage for finally giving me relief. I do plan on getting another massage soon - she's open on Saturdays, which is better for my schedule. I strongly recommend A Perfect Massage.

She is truly in tune with your whole body. I highly recommend an hour or an hour and a half full body massage. The spa is exceptionally clean, & relaxing. The massage beds are the most comfortable ones I've ever been on. I find that a lot of massage therapists usually skip over the butt. Or do over the sheet pressing action. For me, a butt massage is the best part, it is an extension of your back. And I want the full experience lol Tina will give you the best experience. She is a master in Chinese medicine! I have been a client at The Remedy for close to two years. I have had repeated testing there and also with my PCP and they were unable to find some issues I was having. (Not downplaying my Remedy experience--they're wonderful) But, in one visit with Tina she found a major issue that was going on with me. It still blows me away that she found something like that through massage. We are blessed to have some great massage therapists in our town. But I truly feel that Tina is a natural healer. The real deal! Highly recommend!

I've been here multiple times and I can officially say I've run out of chances and grace to give. I…read morekept giving it multiple chances because the first two times the Office Syndrome massages were great. It's been 3 or 4 bad massages since then. First, who you book doesn't seem to matter, you'll get who they give. Second, the type of massage you book doesn't seem to matter. I decided to try the Traditional Thai Massage since the past few Office Syndrome massages have been underwhelming. I'm familiar with this style of massage, I really enjoy it. This, was not that. On my experience, Thai massage sessions happen on the floor and involve active stretching and rhythmic compressions. This has been the case at multiple massage studios across different cities and states. This was a half-a**ed Swedish adjacent massage. I walked in and confirmed what I booked. I thought it was weird that I got led to an elevated massage bed, so I made sure to clarify that I booked the traditional Thai massage. She said confirmed so I thought maybe they just did it differently here. They don't, they count on people not knowing the difference. The masseuse spent 50 minutes wasting my time and doing light taps on my body. There was 5 min or less of her walking on my back, and 5 min at the end of her having me bend my leg at the knee while she walked on my quads. I did speak up at one point to ask for additional pressure, and she appeased me for with it for a few minutes then went right back to tapping with no technique. I kept waiting for the stretching to begin but it never did. Eventually, I gave up on the massage and checked out. For comparison, the massage chair at the nail salon has more pressure and tension relief than what I got today. At one point I really liked this place, that's why I kept giving chances. Ultimately, I think the massages here are underwhelming. To be clear, I mean way below mediocre. If you want a Thai massage go elsewhere.

My son and I were in a bad car accident on 9.02. We had pain in our necks, backs, hips, and knees…read more Between the doctors we saw on the day of the accident and follow-up after, we did not find relief from the muscle relaxants(me only), Tylenol, and Advils prescribed to us. I found Dr. Fred's office driving by, and decided to inquire about his care after an accident like ours. Luckily, he had the equipment to x-ray me and see what exactly was causing the pain. My son and I had our first visit on 9.16 and felt hopeful we would find relief from all the pain we were dealing with. It has been 2-weeks of adjustments and I can attest that Dr. Fred's care has definitely given back our lives. I can finally drive and workout without pain. My son has returned to parkour and kung-fu without complaints. I understand that chiropractic care can be scary, if it's not something tried before but in my opinon it's the reason we haven't taken any pain meds. From the moment I walked into the office to inquire about his care until today, I have felt care and compassion from Michelle, Kim, Dr. Fred, Erin, and Keisha. Keisha is the resident massage therapist who helped loosen my tight muscles from the accident. Her work has helped my recovery exponentially faster. So, as a recap; 2-weeks of muscle relaxants, tylenol, and advil did nothing to help us feel pain-free, but 2-weeks of adjustments from Dr. Fred has helped me feel back to normal. I'm very happy I inquired in the office when I did because I didn't want to be dependent on pain meds and have a crooked spine from the accident.

When I called back today again, they told me they still wouldn't see me because I'm a "new patient" even after confirming I'd been there last year....which means my visit would be $125 instead of $65. I am in pain and trying to give them my money and that's just not enough for them I guess. This is the only chiropractor I've seen in my entire life, and they have charged me twice with a new patient fee and tried to do it again today. Apparently, they will charge you a new patient fee every six months you're not seen, which they have never told me anytime I've ever been in for an adjustment so be prepared to pay more for a visit every 6 months....such a scam.
