So thankful for Martinez chiropractic. I had an old pain that resurfaced. I called and stacey squeezed me In the next day! Had to bring my 13 month old and they were so welcoming to her. Dr Deitzen (sp?) did some adjustments, stretching, deep massaging, and DRAMATICALLY reduced my pain. I can now get down on the floor with my baby and play with her. Walk the dog. Get out of bed. My current experience at Martinez Chiropractic in Martinez, CA is EXCELLENT and wonderful. Dr. Fred is awesome with vast experience in chiropractic and is very caring and personable. He has greatly helped my upper and lower back recover from pain and mis-alignment in less than 2 months time to the extent that I am able to reduce the number of times per week/month/year that I need chiropractic maintenance. I feel much better and am able to work and play without pain and, although I sometimes stress my body in various ways and positions, my back now often seems to re-align itself correctly without pain. In addition, the Office staff (Stacy and Nicole currently) are wonderful and very nice. They not only book my appointments and take my payments, but ensure I receive appointment reminders and know how to request detailed bills for my insurance. Also, the massage staff are skilled experts in massage therapy and have helped relieve knots in my muscles to reduce or prevent mis-alignment of my spine after I had received chiropractic treatment. I have been to a number of good and a few not so good chiropractors over the years, but Dr. Fred is the absolute best. He not only listens to me but treats me like family, and unlike many chiropractors, he checks the alignment of my spine, neck, shoulders, hips, legs, arms, and feet BEFORE and AFTER each chiropractic session. Let me start by saying I am NOT a fan of chiropractors, but they apparently LOVE me. My back is totally messed up with degenerative disc disease, arthritis, bone spurs and bulging discs (that's what I get for being active as a teenager). Anyway, I went to Dr. King today and I am totally impressed. He was very thorough and he appeared genuinely concerned about my health. I have a list of problems and he addressed every one. When he was adjusting my back, he was very gentle and warned me before the big CRRRAAAAACK. Despite having to be adjusted again, I would definitely return. I went in with sciatica pain, never have i been to anyone, Doctor, physical therapist no one, who was able to make the pain go away in one visit. However within 30-45 min of seeing him the pain was gone, not relieved or eased, but gone! Then he taught me how to strengthen and relieve my own back pain. Before i saw him i went to another Chiropractor for a year and i was always hurting during the visits. Dr Bell was very thorough, and was able to pinpoint my exact cause of pain, as well as relieve much of my pain, after 3 excruciating weeks. This place is great! I've always had back pain but started getting a pain in my neck a few months ago and started coming to Dr. Bell. Wow, it has made such an improvement! I've been going twice a week (that seems like a lot to me), but I'm sure once I get the neck pain under control I will spread my appointments out a little more. But, I'm totally hooked! Dr. Bell was great! My regular DC (Doctor of Chiropractic) Was out of town and I was having radiating pain to my chest/lungs from my back. It was hard to breathe from the pain. Dr. Bell got me in 45 minutes after I called, on a weekend, and got me breathing right again with some skillful muscle work and Chiropractic adjustments. Jaromy is an educated, thorough and caring chiropractor. He gives a good assessment of your overall condition and treats you accordingly. I've been pretty happy. I went in for ART (active release therapy) to treat adductor tendinopathy and have been pleased so far. He's helped me out by using ART, performing adjustments and several different stretches. This was my last resort to resolve my issue and it sure looks like there's hope of 100%. Jaromy is honest & will do the best that he can for you. Prices are fair and his staff is very nice as well. I absolutely love going to MARTINEZ CHIROPRACTIC for my overall health care. Dr. Bell listens to my concerns with whats going on with me and gets right to it. Sometimes he has given me "exercises" to make sure I do NOT "hurt" myself again. He is not one to force you into extra visits or sign you up for a payment/visit plan. He is a really nice guy with a great office staff. I like that they call to confirm appointments, that he is on time with his schedule, and that they have massage therapists on site. I also appreciate that Dr. Bell works closely with the massage therapist for your overall wellbeing. As a massage therapist myself, I can and do HIGHLY RECOMMEND massage therapist KEISHA at this office. The entire team at Martinez Chiropractic is focused on and dedicated to your comfort, well-being and improved health. Dr. Bell places an emphasis on helping you help yourself. Yes, he still offers some of the more 'conventional' chiropractic methods (I still love the big cracks he gets out of my neck and spine, and the subsequent relief from discomfort they bring). However, he also offers a great deal of guidance and instruction on how you can stretch and exercise to improve your overall condition, and thus require fewer big cracks. I was rear-ended two months ago and am WELL on my way to full recovery thanks to his efforts. At no point in my time with Dr. Bell have I ever felt like he was trying to con me into additional or unnecessary treatment. He's a consummate professional who takes the time to listen to your concerns before proceeding with any treatment. Likewise, both massage therapists he employs, Josh and Patti, work wonders in terms of identifying and resolving muscle tightness and knots prior to adjustments -- which makes the work Dr. Bell does that much more effective. Josh, in particular, has helped me a great deal in working out the neck and back pain and stiffness I have experienced as a result of my accident.
