I love massage and I met a masseuse who was very good at pressing on the right spots and relieving my muscle aches.

A special thank you to Isabella, the owner, who was incredibly accommodating and made my visit exceptional. I enjoyed the steam room, massage, stem cell facial, and head spa, and every service exceeded my expectations. The lounge is beautiful, relaxing, and truly feels luxurious. The staff was friendly, happy, and professional, and their positive energy made the experience even better. I also love that they offer a monthly membership which is such a great value! I'll definitely be signing up, bringing my husband for a spa day, and planning my next girls' trip here. If you're looking for a luxurious spa with outstanding service, I highly recommend 128 Luxury Health Spa. I can't wait to come back!

Possibly one of the worst massages I've ever had…read more My massage therapist was Terry, and she kept leaving the room throughout the session. At one point, my entire back was left uncovered for what felt like nearly 30 minutes while it was still wet from the wet towel and massage oil. I was freezing and incredibly uncomfortable. The massage itself was very disappointing. I originally requested medium pressure, but instead she repeatedly dug her elbow into my neck, moving it back and forth without any real technique or purpose. It was painful rather than therapeutic. I eventually asked her to switch to light pressure, but then the massage became so light that it barely felt like a massage at all. It was just rubbing with no technique or muscle work. I've honestly had better massages during a pedicure. I had been looking forward to relaxing and even falling asleep, but instead I couldn't relax because the massage was uncomfortable and ineffective. It honestly felt amateurish and lazy. The most frustrating part came when it was time to pay. When booking, they require a $40 deposit. Since I was unhappy with my massage, I told the receptionist I wanted to leave a $20 tip for my husband's massage therapist, who did a good job, and only $10 for mine. Instead of respecting my decision, they REPEATEDLY pressured me to leave a $40 tip since they already have my "deposit". I had to repeat myself THREE separate times: "$20 for my husband's therapist and $10 for mine." I don't mind tipping for good service, but I don't believe poor service should be rewarded. Being pressured to increase the tip after such a disappointing experience left an even worse impression than the massage itself.

There was curtain as divider but no one really used them when I came there. The uncle who did my feet was nice and skillful. Highly recommended him! Parking pass limited because it's a crowded plaza. The guy I had literally put his entire strength on my shoulders and back and I feel like he hit every knot and I felt super nimble after. I had a lower back injury few years ago and my back feels so much better. I didn't even realize I had that much tension there but they were able to release the knots. My boyfriend and I noticed how strong they were when they were giving us our massage. Compared to some luxury spas who kinda just do the bare minimum , this place definitely released stress in my body and worked through every muscle. Though you're in a room full of other people, I felt very comfortable and relaxed. They do ask you to pay upfront. I paid $30 for the 60 min. And then after your massage you tip your masseuse. Some will ask to take off your tops and they'll provide robes and I noticed some kept their tops on. I guess it's preference? I tipped mine $20 and he looked happy. I liked how they don't chase you down for more as some other places will do. Overall I really like this place and will be going back in the near future!

I got the Premium Package at $105 each, and it was such a pleasant experience from start to finish for 75 minutes. Prices are reasonable compared to the other places I was looking at in LA. You get your hair washed and treated (we both have balayages, so our hair is FRIED), a facial, and a head and neck massage! We're both dentists, so we were wishing the massage was a bit deeper, but that's all we really have to say. It was super relaxing since I was running on 3 hours of sleep. It's nice, quiet, and dark inside, and I felt my stress melt away. Afterwards, my friend and I were amazed at how soft and fluffy our hair was and she expressed that we gotta come back for the VIP experience next! We will definitely be back and were clamoring about making it a birthday tradition for each other from now on. My scalp feels great!

Might just be that I got a newbie or something but she was incredibly bad at her job. She'd never dry my ears properly leaving water and suds sitting in there for the entire time even after the service was finished. While shampooing she'd massage my neck and shoulders while her hands were full of hair product and shampoo suds, WHY?!! Hair products are NOT meant to be used on skin and she kept massaging it in and not washing it off leaving the hair product and suds just SITTING on my neck and shoulders for the majority of the service. Additionally she got water into my eyes MULTIPLE times and didn't even notice, would put a SOPPING wet towel over my eyes then run water right over it making me feel like it was a water boarding punishment, failed to dry me off properly at the end making me sit up resulting in water dripping down my back and getting my clothes wet. Then she gave me cotton swabs for me to clean my ears and when I went to try to throw it away after using it, she roughly pulled it out of my fingers so fast that the dirty cotton swabs touched my fingers leaving my ear wax on my own finger. Cherry on top she then shooed me off the chair after 5 mins of blow drying before my hair was fully dry, didn't even brush my hair until she saw me finger combing it myself. The only reason I gave more than one star is that Maybe the other head spa staff is better but I will never come back because of how bad mine was. Poor attention to detail is an understatement.

I called two days in advance to make an appointment for a $60 deep tissue massage. When I arrived, I was asked to pay the full $60 upfront. I thought that was a little unusual, but I paid without making an issue of it. After my massage, I gave my massage therapist a $5 cash tip. After accepting it, she asked me if I had more to give her. I was honestly caught off guard because I've never had a service provider accept a tip and then directly ask me for more. I felt uncomfortable and didn't want to be rude, so I agreed to Zelle her another $10. The Zelle payment wasn't going through right away, so I told her that sometimes it takes a little while. I then left and went to my car. About five minutes later, the massage therapist came out to my car to tell me that she still hadn't received the additional $10. That made me extremely uncomfortable. I had already paid the full $60 price for my massage and had already voluntarily given her a $5 cash tip. I only attempted to send the additional $10 because I felt pressured after being asked for more. I understand that $5 is not a large tip on a $60 service, and customers are certainly welcome to tip 15-20% or more if they choose. However, a gratuity should be voluntary unless a mandatory gratuity or service charge is clearly disclosed beforehand. I don't think a customer should be put on the spot and asked to increase a tip they've already given, much less followed out to their car because an additional tip hasn't gone through yet. I came here hoping to relax and get some relief for my back. Instead, I left feeling pressured and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the way the tipping situation was handled overshadowed the entire experience for me, and because of that, I don't feel comfortable returning.
