Wow, I needed that massage! It was honestly one of the best firm pressures I've ever received, Lauren was my therapist. The staff is easy to talk to and Kristin the manager welcomed me for my first time here. She was sweet I had no problems booking even when other places are always full on the weekend. This location is relaxing and the rooms are so clean! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to the membership! I signed up and can't wait to come back. They offer a lot of other services too. They also have facials, cupping and hot stones. read more

I rarely leave reviews like this, but after being a loyal Massage Heights Stonecrest member since 2019, I feel other customers should know about my experience. I maintained my membership for approximately seven years, made my payments as required, and have spent more than $6,500 on services, not including tips. After my last service in May 2026, I informed the front desk attendant at checkout that I wanted to cancel my membership. She told me she would make a note on my account. The following day, I missed a call from a manager who left me a voicemail acknowledging my cancellation request. She explained that a 30-day notice was required, that June would be my final payment, and that she would email me a cancellation form. I never received the email, but because a manager had called and specifically acknowledged my request to cancel, I believed the matter was being handled and expected June to be my final charge. Today, while reviewing my account, I discovered that Massage Heights had continued drafting payments in July and August. I immediately called the location hoping to get the issue resolved. The manager on duty, Arie, told me there was no cancellation request documented on my account and therefore there was nothing she could do. I explained that not only had I told the front desk attendant in person, but a manager called me the very next day and left a voicemail acknowledging my request to cancel and explaining the 30-day requirement. Instead of trying to investigate what happened or find a reasonable solution for a seven-year customer, the conversation became argumentative and Arie eventually hung up on me. I then went to the spa in person hoping we could resolve the situation professionally. Unfortunately, the experience became even more disappointing. When I explained that I work in the service industry and that customers share their experiences through reviews, Arie responded: "One review is not going to hurt us, all we will do is delete it." I was stunned to hear that from a manager. When I explained that reviews matter because people use them to decide where to spend their hard-earned money, she responded: "This isn't going to hurt me." When I told her that poor customer experiences can ultimately hurt the business and eventually affect the people responsible for managing it, her response was: "It will be a long time before that will happen." At that point, I asked for some consideration based on my history with the company. I explained that I had been a loyal customer since 2019, had spent more than $6,500 on services plus tips, and was simply asking them to help resolve the July and August charges after I had clearly communicated my intent to cancel in May. Her response was essentially that she was the only person who could help me and there was nothing she was going to do. I then asked her to contact the owner. Unfortunately, I received essentially the same attitude and no meaningful attempt to resolve the situation. Mistakes happen. An employee can forget to make a note. An email can fail to get sent. A cancellation form can fall through the cracks. What separates good businesses from bad customer experiences is how management responds when those mistakes are brought to their attention. After nearly seven years as a paying customer, I wasn't asking for special treatment. I was asking Massage Heights Stonecrest to acknowledge that I communicated my intent to cancel, that their own manager called me afterward acknowledging that request, and to show some reasonable consideration regarding the two additional payments. Instead, I was met with dismissiveness, hung up on, and essentially told that my experience and my review didn't matter. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Massage Heights Stonecrest. If you're considering signing up for a massage membership here, I strongly recommend you think carefully before doing so--particularly about how your membership and cancellation may be handled when you decide it's time to leave. read more

I am beyond disappointed with the appalling customer service and predatory billing practices my father recently experienced at Massage Heights Stonecrest. He went in person to cancel his membership, yet the staff failed to inform him that a formal cancellation agreement was required. The very next day, the manager called him to explicitly acknowledge the cancellation--but they never followed through to send over the formal agreement. Fast-forward two months: he is still being charged for a membership he cancelled months ago. When he reached out to resolve their mistake, management completely refused to take accountability. They do not care about member loyalty, how long someone has been a client, or the fact that their own staff dropped the ball. They outright refused to reverse the wrongful charges or do anything at all to make it right. On top of that, their monthly subscription setup is terrible. While unused sessions roll over, they strictly forbid members from transferring those accrued sessions to family or friends for any reason. Almost every other reputable spa allows transfers for a simple, reasonable fee, but Massage Heights relies on rigid policies designed to take your money while offering zero flexibility. Save yourself and your family the headache, financial frustration, and terrible management--take your business to a spa that actually values its customers. read more

They stole money from me! I went to this location once a month for over a decade and when they overcharged me $120 they admitted that they did it and they apologized, but the owner said they would not refund me my money because it had been more than 30 days. So they were wrong, I was a loyal customer, and they refused to make it right so I canceled my membership. Do not go here!! read more

I came in for my first massage and I was immediately taken by the friendly, kind front desk staff. Everything was neat and clean. Beautiful ambiance through the whole spa. I see Dr Noah for knee and Hip PT and Dr Evan for chiropractic care. They are the best!!!

I would never return to this location. I paid for a 1.5 hour massage and I didnt not receive that. my masseuse asked if my bandage mark was from a hormone patch which was very inappropriate to me read more

I called to cancel an appointment because I got a boot put on my foot. The person I talked to did not tell me I could put my membership on hold. I had no idea I would need a boot so when I realized I had an appointment for my massage I called. My account was charged for the visit even though I didn't go. When I asked for a refund she said I cancelled in less than 24 hours from my appt. Well excuse me for not knowing I had to get the boot. I will use my last 2 appts. but then will never step into that establishment. If you're ever worried about being charged for a missed appt. I wouldn't use this establishment. And the Manager wasn't very nice. read more

My girlfriend and I purchased a Groupon for a 30 min message however once we got there we upgraded to a 60 minute Hot Stone message which was absolutely great. The message therapist were very professional and pleasant. After our session the receptionist asked for a tip, which I feel is unprofessional, When we gave a tip she frowned upon it as if it wasn't good enough, She had a nasty disposition and made it clear to my friend and I that she was not happy with he amount we gave. We paid for the Service that was provided and did not have to give a penny more. She was ungrateful and ugly and for that reason I gave a low rating Which its so unfortunate because I would have gone back!! Good Customer Service Matters! read more

Had a couples massage for me and my partner in August for his birthday.Terrible massage, way to hard and aggressive, all they used were their elbows and it was aweful, almost aggresive. We were late for the apt by like 15 minutes and we received a 20 minute massage and paid for one hour. The therapists were not friendly at all and it was apparent they were not interested and were ready to go home. We were obviously their last apts for the day. Will never visit again. read more

Needed a massage on a visit to the Ballantyne area. Alvin gave a great massage. Neck tension, sciatic nerve....stress - felt much better afterwards. Wasn't looking for a Swedish, needed to address specific areas. Pressure was good, draping was the best I've ever had. I wish the oil was warmed before using. :) making an appointment for the same day was easy, able to do it online and the process was quick. At checkout, after the massage, the tipping was a bit tricky - many signs with tip information, but rather than taking 20% of the price I paid, they took 20% of the price I would have paid if it were not introductory pricing. Probably normal procedure for the company - I just wasn't expecting it - would have been nice if that had been explained to me. The receptionist corrected after questioned with no problem...Just an experience I could have done without. read more

My husband and I had a couples massage there yesterday and it was amazing. I had never been to a Massage Heights before and will definitely be going back in the future. The staff were so friendly and made you feel like friends from the time you schedule an appt to the time you leave. My masseuse was amazing!! Day later and I still feel so relaxed and like she really helped release tension in problems areas. Do not hesitate or go anywhere else! read more

I have never had such a negative experience than I have had with Massage Heights in Stonecrest, Charlotte NC. Specifically, the manager Sherry, who has hung up on me twice. She has never been understanding or accommodating and extremely unprofessional and rude. I booked a 90 minute massage with their credits and the masseuse cut it short by accident 30 min. The front desk advised that they would extend another 60 min. massage I had scheduled in the future from a 60 to a 90 min to make up for the difference. After leaving the appointment they charged me for the additional 30 min, which I should not have to pay as they extended it to make up for the previous appointment. When I spoke to Sherry the Manager and explained this and pulled up records showing my previous check in and check out time was cut short, she did not credit me back, said she was not going to credit me back, told me she was done and proceeded to hang up on me. The lack of customer empathy is mind boggling especially in a competitive environment. My wife and I were members for over two years contributing thousands of dollars in revenue for that Franchise and this is how we are treated. There are many other options to choose from in this space. I will need to dispute these charges now, based on mistakes made by first the masseuse, and then the front desk, when the Manager could've remedied the situation, but decided to hang up on me instead. Avoid this location and business at all costs and find a competitor that respects their customers. read more

This was my first time at this location and I was so pleased! The both people at the front desk was very friendly and outgoing. They took me to a nice little waiting room to wait for my therapist, Sherrika, who arrived shortly there after. She asked me what I wanted her to concentrate on and we went from there. Sherrika was amazing! She packs some serious power and worked to released all of my knots. She combines the deep tissue techniques with a very relaxing and soothing touch that is the ultimate cure for all your body's needs. I'm positive she could do any type of pressure but if you like the "hurts so good" kind of massage to work out the real kinks she's the one. I've already booked my next massage! read more

I purchased an e-card for a Christmas gift to be delivered on Christmas Eve. The card was delivered a week before Christmas and ruined the surprise. It's infuriating that when I checked my credit card statements that Massage Heights has continued to charge me during a quarantine. I fully support businesses during this time and I have personally offered money to salons and those who are unable to operate during the pandemic. Not ONCE have I received communication from Massage Heights. However they have elected to continue to charge me! SHAME on you! Consider your patrons! ASK, reach out in some way shape or form! I would have been happy to continue my payments and use the treatments after the quarantine was over. MASSAGE HEIGHTS YOU ARE REMISS in assuming it's okay to proceed with charging your clients as if nothing is going on in the world. You should be ashamed of yourselves! read more

My husband got the membership for me as a gift for Christmas and I was very excited because I am going through a stressful time. I booked the first massage in January and it was great! However the same day in the evening I got this horrible rash all over my body. I called back to let them know and say that I cannot come again because the itch and the appearance are very uncomfortable plus I had to take time off work. They offered another lotion but I said I would not want to risk. Would you? Anyway, long story short I was told the owner was going to contact me. It's been way over a month and still NO contact BUT I GOT CHARGED AGAIN! How is that ok? Horrible management! This is how my skin was ON medications! I would've expected at least a phone call on time before taking my money again! read more

GO SEE BON!! I had the best massage today by Bon at massage heights. As a woman sometimes i can be a little timid about a male masseuse but Bon completely changed that for me! He made me feel so comfortable and safe and relaxed. He worked exactly what i needed and checked in every 10 or so minutes to ask about the pressure and comfortability. I cannot recommend him enough. He gave me some awesome advice about stretching after and i will definitely be back next month. Also shoutout to Morgan at the front desk! She was so kind and welcoming and made the whole experience that much better. I cannot wait to go back! HIGHLY recommend read more

I've been to spas before, but this was the first one to have the upscale feel and customer service while still giving affordable options. Jade was at the front desk and was personable and attentive both before and after my massage. The massage itself was excellent. My trouble spots in my back and shoulders got special emphasis, while still giving attention to the rest of my body. I came in for 60 minutes this time, but I enjoyed it so much I plan on getting 90 minutes next time. Anyone looking for a wonderful experience should really try Massage Heights Stonecrest. read more

Always get a great massage here. Have been a member for over a year now. Got my husband and son coming now and they love it! Clean atmosphere. Restrooms clean and always have soap and toilet paper. Sheets on massage tables agree soft and always fresh. Tables are cushioned and therapists will put a round pillow under legs during massage. Therapist all certified and professional. You disrobe to your level of comfort and they work with you. Tell the therapist about and areas to pay special attention or stay away from and they listen. Highly recommend. Christina was great ..I would recommend Massage Heights to all my friends.

Love the ambiance of Massage Heights. The employees are very professional...I especially like to speak with Mandy at the front desk. She is professional, yet makes her conversations with more personal, like you are someone she has know for awhile and considers you a friend. After the Dilworth location closed due to the pandemic and one of my favorite therapists left the business I switched to the Rea Road location. She always remembers what we worked on during previous appointments and helps me address the problem of the moment. Highly recommend! read more

Great online booking system as well as no issues with front desk thus far. Note options for monthly subscriptions are different and can end up being cheaper than massage envy or hand and stone. Only down side is no facials current available that I'm aware of. The last two visits I've seen Ariel. I suffer from tension headaches and can get extremely tight in my shoulders, neck and pecs. Ariel is fantastic she gets 5 stars. She can make the sessions very relaxing while doing some great deep massage work on delicate areas. I hate to give away her name as she books up fast, but she is the best lady I've found since losing my regular therapist over 4 years ago! read more

My massage therapist said something completely inappropriate while I was on the table. I complained, was told I was heard, the manager apologized, and they promised to deal with the situation. So I was referred here by a friend. I was told to arrive 10-15 mins before my appointment for my consult. I got there place was really nice. Ambience was set, was really excited to relax and relieve stress. Michael was my massage therapist. I was supposed to get 60 mins. Which includes music I prefer, foot scrub and hot stones. When I got back in the room he talked to me for about 5-7 mins (talking about him being a personal trainer as well) which cut time away, then all the points that I wanted him to focus on he did not. I didn't choose my music (bc he never asked me) I didn't get to choose my aromatherapy (bc again he never asked me) the. I told him my problem area was back and calves he focused on my feet and thighs. Just was not pleased. Spent $90 and felt like I got a 30 mins massage and not a 60 min. Would not return. Oh and not to mention there is construction going on next door and you can heat it all through out! read more

The massage therapist that work here are absolutely amazing especially Eugene. Unfortunately for them the management and host are terrible. You pay for services and then they make reasons why they do not have to honor what you paid for with your hard earned money.
