Buyer Beware - for a 60 minute session you only get 34 minutes of massage and for a 99 minute session, you only get 79 minutes. They say it is because they give you 5 minutes before and after the session to change but they are still shorting you 5-10. I have had a lot of massages for $60 for 60 minutes and have never been shorted time. I plan on completing my annual membership then cancelling and notifying the attorney generals office for fraudulent activity and recommend other people having trouble send a certified cancellation and reporting them if they have a hard time. read more

I have been a member of Massage Envy in Williston since it opened years ago. I absolutely love the flexibility it affords as one can schedule massages any day of the week or weekend and the long hours are ideal for people who work. I always look forward to my visits that include a warm neck pillow given upon arrival, a soothing atmosphere, friendly staff...and, of course, great massages by wonderful therapists. I got a gift certificate here from my husband because he made a mistake in the name of the local place I normally go. The massage was average at best. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly. The massage was 1.5 hours. I was disappointed that in that time frame my scalp and face were not gotten to. There were at least three occasions where noises from the hall disrupted my massage. I agree with one of the other reviews. I doubt staff is paid what they are worth and there are better self employed massage therapist for a better price. read more

Unfortunately I'm unable to give a review of the actual massage as we never got that far. I made an appointment for today, last week, as part of a Mother-Daughter Day for my daughter home on spring break. My appointment was confirmed for 11:30. We had never been here before so the individual who answered took my name and number. Upon arriving today, the front desk had trouble locating my appointment, thought they were able to locate my name and number. While we were waiting, we could here the associate apologizing to the woman who was checking in next to us about the new computer system they just installed having some hiccups. I assumed this was the case and was ready to be flexible. Unfortunately all we were told was that our appointment was not in the system, and that was it. No steps were taken or even offered to remedy the situation. It was disappointing as I took the day off specifically for this relaxing day with my daughter. read more

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Get there early so that you can sit in a quiet room with a neck warmer to relax your neck and shoulders. If you know specifically what benefits you want, tell the staff at the desk so that they can schedule you with the best therapist for your needs. Treat yourself to an hour and a half massage. I used to have a membership here but cancelled it (no easy task if you have yet to go through that process yourself).. Let me start by saying that when I pay for a 60 or 90 minute massage, I expect 60 or 90 minutes of massage time. Every appointment I had here (for a year) they took me back right at the appointment time or late and they always stopped at least 5 minutes short of the appointment end time. They literally build in time to change and time to accommodate for their tardiness. Also, I requested only female therapists but had both male and female work on me but felt too awkward to say no when they came out to get me for my appointment. As much as I appreciate getting charged to get dressed or undressed for a massage, and having people disregard my wishes, I will spend my money elsewhere. read more

Terrible customer service. I had my first appointment scheduled and drove all the way there to find I wasn't on the schedule. My appointment had been canceled by them "somehow". No apologies, no it was our mistake lets try to fix it and get you in somewhere else. Just nope your not on the schedule. I'm pregnant and have terrible neck pain that is giving me headaches- I was looking forward to this appointment for days. As you can see from my last post I have been giving Massage Envy the benefit of the doubt since January! Back then the manager claimed she had refunded me and fixed the billing issues that I experienced when I tried to use a 3 month gift certificate I was gifted. However, after 3 more visits I give up on this place! I wanted relaxation and all I got from Massage Envy was more stress! Every visit they have screwed up my "membership", billed my gift card wrong and I believe overcharged me on this last visit. If you want the long story please keep reading below, but the executive summary is this: Massage Envy has great massage therapists but it is a SCAM! They will force you into an extended membership ( more than their offers claim ) where you have to book 3 weeks in advance to get a massage and then try to charge you extra money to cover the "upgrades". Run do not walk to the next spa for a massage with out the headache of a membership contract so confusing that 5 different staff members ( include a manager ) can't decipher it and bill you correctly! The long story is that my loving wife gave me a 3 month membership plus a coupon for one free massage to Massage Envy for Christmas. After a 3 week wait for an open appointment I was finally able to get a massage. The massage ( like all I have had here ) was great and done by a friendly, professional therapist. The problems began when I got to the counter to start my 3 month membership. I was told that they don't have 3 month memberships and I could only use the gift card if I signed up for a 6 month membership. I tried to debate it but the woman was adamant that I was wrong and had to signed up for 6 months if I didn't want to be charged full price. Just wanting to go home and return to relaxing I gave up and signed the paperwork. I was told my membership would then start on my NEXT massage and I had to pay for an "introductory massage" first. My gift card was then billed for that massage leaving me with only enough money for 2 of the 6 months I had ahead of me. The next day I woke up insulted and annoyed by this experience. I tried contacting corporate and local managers via the location contact form on their website and left phone messages ( with staff members ) for the manager. I didn't hear back from anyone so I then wrote a bad Yelp review. After that the manager then called me back the next day. She promised me that everything was fine and next time I came in this would be remedied by treating resetting my gift card and using my free massage coupon for the first massage. I then changed my Yelp review to be fair to them. Since then I have been back 3 more times. Each time they tell me "you don't have a membership" and then try to charge me non-member price on the gift card. I explain the story and they then claim that they have fixed my membership. Then they charge $20 extra for an "upgrade" to an hour and a half massage plus gratuity. Overall 4 different times they have been confused and tried to charge me wrong at a significantly higher non-member rate! After this last visit I am actually glad that I "don't have a membership" because I can actually enjoy the relaxation of my massage by taking solace in the fact that I never have to spend another dime on this scam! Once again: RUN do not walk to ANY other massage therapist in the area. Even if you have to pay more at least you won't be left feeling like you have been swindled. Read the reviews below about members who couldn't get out of their memberships and then reconsider my review. This was my FIRST experience with Massage Envy and look how bad their management and customer service is. Now imagine how horrible they must treat people if they know you are trying to leave! read more

I logged on here and was very pleased to find the poor reviews. I was so humiliated after suffering an anxiety attack, only to be treated like a pervert later for it. First, I only wanted one massage and they pressured me into a contract, then after two appointments with a horribly inappropriate and strange therapist- I got a call to tell me that the therapist didn't wish to treat me anymore, because of ("inappropriate noises") WT#? I apologize for having an anxiety attack after learning of my friend's child's passing, which I told the therapist about ahead of time inquiring about whether that person thought it would be better to do later. Of course, I tipped that person anyway...then they harassed me with about 30 condescending phone calls and charged me for three more massages over the next several months until I finally had my credit card changed. Of course, no one knows where their corporate offices are, so I never got my money back. So they humiliated me and stole a few hundred bucks from me...not relaxing at all! Since then, I have been going to a nearby competitor and they have been very nice! read more

Massage truly helps my fibromyalgia. I am a new member at ME, but have been receiving massage for 20 years. So far I think I've had 4 massages at ME Williston. I hope to find "THE ONE" (i.e. a really GREAT therapist) soon... One that I can keep requesting. I like that I can keep trying all different therapists; so far the best massage I've gotten at ME Williston has been with Rick Lothrop. I joined because they take my health insurance flex spending account and they make it really easy. I am very glad I joined - without the membership I don't think I would "allow" myself the "luxury" (aka necessity) of receiving regular massages. It had been a good experience so far. read more

I've been trying to cancel my account for months and have gotten nowhere. Each time I call, I am told a customer service aagent will contact me, and it never happens. So I am stuck paying a new higher rate every month and keep racking up massages that I won't be able to use. Total waste of money. Don't waste your time or money here! I was in excruciating pain on Monday and an acquaintance at work said I should check them out. So I booked an appointment for Tuesday. I was asked to come in 15 minutes early to fill out "first time information" but what they really mean by that is ammunition for their sales pitch. As I sat in the dingy and somewhat tacky waiting area, I overheard the staff strategizing on how to "get this prospect". Meaning me. So I was picked up by my therapist who gave me a mediocre at best massage (really my husband does better) which didn't even last the whole hour. I was only told AFTER the service that for a one hour appointment, you only get 50 minutes. I actually got about 45. Now, for 55 bucks I'm sure this isn't so bad but that's where they get you. Sure enough, as I walked out to the front desk I was given the sales pitch. I could either commit to a year at 65 bucks a month or come back at nearly 100 for the next one. It's not worth the 55 I initially paid, let alone 100. The place is kinda gross, the massage sucked and I got pressured into signing a contract on my way out. And when I said no, the little blonde (I forget her name) gave me the snottiest, most disgusted look I have ever seen. So, no thank you. I've since been to Absolute Wellness where I got a stellar service in a beautiful setting with no sales pitch. It was worth the extra money and I'm looking forward to going back. read more

I would give this place one star if it wasn't for John, one of the massage therapists there. He is the only reason I have not cancelled my membership. He is wonderful. I tried two other therapists there when I couldn't get in with John and they were not nearly as good. If you get a gift certificate try to get an appointment with John. As for the membership, I think it is a rip off, to tell the truth. The $59 for a massage isn't bad, but then you have to leave a tip. Also, if you cancel and have hours left over you lose them, which is absurd because you already paid for them. If you run into financial trouble and want to freeze your account for a while you can't use any of the hours you have already paid for. The people at the desk are very nice. read more
