I had called and set up 10 massage appointments and pre paid. I ended up having an unexpected trip to Chicago, the Massage Envy location there was helpful and assisted me in 3 massages! I come in for my appointment and was pulled back by my VERY RUDE masseuse; she claimed they don't do "that type of massage". I was booked wrong and I needed to leave because that was not her fault the receptionist booked wrong. She knew it was booked wrong and told the front end and said they messed up. She walked be back up to the front to find out they all of a sudden canceled my remaining 7 massages WITHOUT notice. They scheduled me for an appointment that I had NOT agreed upon. I was told and given information to book somewhere else that does the lymph massages. That is not with Massage Envy, this was not disclosed when I spent a half hour booking 10 appointments. I told them just to cancel everything and I'll go somewhere else, since that was my only choice. I was given ONE free massage for their mix up. I was not able to get in anywhere to get a massage that I needed for months thar affected my healing processes. And had to have follow up care with my PCP.... Now I'm months later, ready to use this one free massage they gave me. I CANT USE IT!!! since THEY canceled my massages that they lied about being able to do, costing me great financial issues. I need to buy a new membership to use their complimentary massage. SCAM. I ended up booking a private massage therapist from google sear Phenix Massage ! Look them up and book them. They care for their patients. They also don't have tacky tip sheets all over the office asking for tips. Their work alone has you tipping. read more

I had scheduled 3 massages like 3 weeks prior to my appointment. I had called the day before just to confirm all the appointments and they told me that they had 2 of them schedule the other they had canceled and never contacted me about it. The employee says let me check to see if they contacted you, she came back and said nope they didn't call you. Wouldn't do anything to compensate so i had cancelled the other 2 appointment. I would never recommend this place read more

Front desk was not good. I was told I had one more massage in my massage package deal to use, but when I finished the appointment, I was told to pay the full price of $125 and that I had no more massages left. The manager did not acknowledge the mistake, and told me that I was the one at fault for not making sure, even though I specifically asked if I had massages left. Manager did not seem to care & tried to upsell me by selling me another package. Not a fun/relaxing day when you pay $125 that you thought you didn't have to because a business does not know how to communicate effectively. Massage was good, however, will never return to this establishment. read more

A friend gave me a gift card so I checked this place out for a massage. Actual massage was good but not great. The whole place felt a little corporate but I guess I should've known that going in. If you want to get a decently priced membership this is probably the place for you read more

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy a massage! Everyone KNEADS a massage lol! Massage Envy (ME) is my go-to place to get a massage due to my busy/on-the-go lifestyle. As a franchised chain with several locations around town, scheduling an appointment have never been easier! If you are a member of ME, you must download their app - it allows you to select location, time of appointment, and the massage therapist of your choice! There are usually tons of time slots open if you schedule just one day ahead. I haven't had luck trying to get in the day of due to this busy location. However, the other ME locations such as the one in Maple or La Vista are usually less busy and will have appointment openings the day of. With the ME app, your massage therapist already know which area to focus on, and the pressure level you prefer with the profile you created on the app so they don't need to ask you every time. The cost for a 1 hour massage is $75 without a membership ($65 for members). However, all session times include a 10 min for consultation and dressing, so you are only getting 50 min. for $65 (plus a tip at a non-member rate of $75). They have a tipping guide poster in every room, I think $14 or more is what they recommend for gratitude. Although it is easy to schedule an appointment, the quality of your massage really depends on the massage therapist you get. Everyone has different techniques. I would say I get a good massage 75% of the time...and 25% of the time, I either get destroyed by heavy-handed ladies or leave feeling like they been painting/brushing my body like a blank canvas lol. With all that said, the convenience of scheduling and the cleanliness of the spa has kept me coming back for more! read more

Went to get a massage here about a couple months ago worst massage if that's what you want to call it I ever had ! I wish I remembered the ladies name that did it ! All she did was some pressure points didn't actually massage me even though i repeatedly told her that's what I wanted ! Went somewhere else recently and realized the difference ! Will never go back read more

The best location in Omaha!! Bailey up front helped me with booking an appointment and she was great!! Great staff all around

I recently had a massage with Kelsi! She was amazing! And also really friendly! I left my massage feeling like a brand new person. Definitely recommend! read more

For my birthday, my boyfriend purchased us a couples massage. As someone who frequently suffers from back and neck pain, I was delighted! Much to my dismay, the massage therapist I was assigned was obviously inexperienced. While massage therapists always warn of slight soreness, I had deep bruising in my lower back area from incorrectly applied pressure. I contacted the manager at Massage Envy who was extremely apologetic and rescheduled me with someone else saying she would "take care of this visit". While the massage was much better, she had lead me to believe it would be at no charge. However, she had left for the day and told her staff to give me a 30% discount. Not at all sufficient considering the pain and misery of the previous visit. If you are looking for a great massage, there are plenty of places in Omaha. Spend $10 more dollars and go somewhere else! read more

I love getting massages. I try to have one at least once a month. My problem is my busy schedule. And when I decide I want a massage, I want it NOW! I have visited many great massage therapists in Omaha. The problem is getting in with them. What I love most about Massage Envy is scheduling. I have always been able to get in same day. With no problem. Which is HUGE. The therapists have always been good. My favorite happens to be an old neighbor of mine, Theresa, although I thinks so goes as Tree. She is AWESOME! read more

The facials there are absolutely wonderful! My skin looks great and I always feel well taken care of!

I had to cancel an appointment, no big deal right? Well, no, I called about a billion times and could not get a single person to ever answer the phone. No online option. Finally left a voicemail.... which they never received because they ended up charging me full price anyway. I think I'll go somewhere else next time. read more

I have been going to Masage Envy for at least 5 years. I go monthly for tension headaches. Vernon is beyond great! He is attentive and has made it so my headaches are well managed. I always feel comfortable. Hands down I couldn't see myself going anywhere else unless he leaves. read more

just ok. didn't really feel like i was a human...more like part of an assembly line. plus i really hate when spas try to upsell you from the moment you check in. i'm here to relax...not be a part of a carnival. the massage was 3* but the overall front desk experience brought it down to a 2*. i'm sure there are better options in the metro area. read more

So I have a membership, and I happen to live by this location so this is the location I normally come to, on the last few visits, I've been walking away feeling worst than when I went in. I'm very fragile, lol, or just weak, but I like my massages very light, NO Heavy pressure, my problem is that lately I've been getting these heavy handed ladies that leave me in pain and bruises, like seriously you're not suppose to massage a persons spine, I'm sure they were taught that in school, I've got to try a new location. My BIGGEST problem with this location is that, they're NEVER on TIME, if I'm paying for a 60 minute massage, I don't expect 50 minutes, I expect 60. But besides that the place is ok, I'm going to try a different location next time. read more

I had Norma as my therapist and might i say, it made me get a membership there. Every time i book an appointment i ask for Norma. Norma's also very hilarious, i still have to take her to go try some hispanic food since she moved here a year ago from texas!! For facials, i would say Ambers the bomb! I'll always contact either of those 2 ladies. They have me coming back for more!! read more

I bought massages for my boyfriend and I. As I didn't want to go to a chain massage place Dundee massage never contacted me back. We got inside and first off we instantly felt awkward because of the man who was talking to us at the begining of the session and trying to sell us product right off the bat. Dude, we just want our massages and we want to go home. ANYWAYS, we went back into the couples massage room and the lady who did my massage was constantly talking while I was trying to relax.. and she tallked LOUD. Also, the music was crackling the entire time. So in short this wasn't relaxing in the slightest bit and I would have rather just exchanged massages with him. Won't be back read more

I received a massage at Aksarben on August 8, 2019. The massage was for 90 minutes and was very good. The cost was the shocker. Before making the appointment, I checked listed prices at various places and the $83 at Aksarben was in line. After the massage my wife paid the bill. I didn't see the bill, which was for $143 plus tax, until the following day. (On rechecking the website I saw there was a small asterisk that I did not originally see, denoting "introductory".) Introductory was not explained on the website, when making the appointment or when checking in for the massage. I had received a massage from an Envy site in Reno two months previously, so "introductory" did not apply. Management informed me that they had their policies. Moral, READ THE FINE PRINT and ask lots of questions. Or, find another studio with higher ratings and much lower costs. There are several. read more

This is the only place I've been to get a massage! Every time I go I'm always greeted with a smile and great customer service. I love places that pride their businesses on treating customers with grear respect! It's just comfortable there and welcoming. They check you in and ask if there's anything they can do to make the visit better. My wife is a member here so I get discounts on massages. Which is a plus for me. She loves going here so I like to tag along sometimes. The person giving me my massage was Cynthia! She stated that she has been with the company for 1.5 years. She's the BEST THE END. No really, I've been here I think 3 times now and she has really been the best I've had. I went with medium and deep tissue massage and she really hit the spots I knew I needed worked on. I will for sure be asking for her again in the future. I hope she stays for ever there. I always tip well because it's an art that these people perfect. Don't shy away from giving a little extra if you know they did what you asked! Thanks Massage Envy, See you soon!!! read more

I love this Massage Envy in particular. If you're visiting from out of town this massage envy is in a really great location. All the front desk people were very nice and I loved my massage therapist! I will come here again! read more

This was my first experience having a massage and it was really nice! I fortunately had the whole package, massage and facial. It was relaxing and soothing, they women did a good job making me feel comfortable. It's a fairly pricey institution, but worth it as a little treat every once in a while! read more

I felt like my boyfriend could give me a better massage than the one I got here. It was my first massage and I work at a hospital where I constantly have stress on my back/lower back, they asked me my problem areas and I told them. Well literally my back was touched like once and the majority of the time my shoulders were rubbed. This massage was a gift so it's the thought that counts but I wouldn't spend $95 dollars on a massage where they don't even get your back much. More annoying than any thing. Like the whole reason he got this for me was for my back. read more

My daughter has a year membership and thought she transferred a point to me so I could get a message to so both of us went up there to get a message and they said u didn't have enough when this past fri they told her she had enough points to get both of us massages. I booked a massage here because of soreness from the gym. On my arrival, I clearly conveyed this to my therapist. She failed to help me with that and she spent time wasting on my heels. Felt like that she didn't even want to work. Felt like a rip off. read more

Love this location! Awesome staff and amazing therapists and estheticians. Great for total body care!

I was here once and I'll never go here again. I don't remember the girl's name that I had but I felt like I was just another client to her. Her hands were kind of cold and I didn't feel comfortable with her at all - I was reluctant to turn over at one point at her request (I was afraid she'd see what I didn't want her to see) as I'm a very modest person and she seemed impatient with me. I didn't feel relaxed with her - I was just anxious for it to be over as she was putting on too much pressure and I didn't feel like I could tell her that...she didn't really have the calming personality I expect from massage therapists. read more

I booked my husband and I am massage five days in advance. My husband's massage was a 90 minute " custom"my massage was at hour custom. when we got to Massage Envy my husband was checked in first as I was sitting there his therapist came out complaining that my husband did not want elbow massage or forearm massage. If you have ever been to a massage envy you understand that they are the only ones that use the elbow to get deep tissue instead of the strength of their hands this causes a lot of damage because they cannot regulate the feel of the muscle through their elbow they just put pressure and lean in and massage. My husband and I have both been hurt with this method of massage. As I was sitting there listening to the therapist complain about my husband's request I was introduced to my therapist who was male not female as I had requested. We travel all over United States and have visited with many massage NV franchises this has to be one of the worst experiences we have had read more

When I first posted a review of my frustration with Massage Envy on Dodge St, the owner then contacted me, and gave me a full refund of the monies I paid; when I updated my post to reflect this turnaround, yelp would not publish the second review. Paid for a 90 minute massage, appointment was at 5, didn't get called back to the room until 5:05 and then the masseuse left for 10 minutes so I could change. Then she said that my time was up at 6:25! Not happy! If I pay for a 90 minute massage I expect to be massaged for 90 minutes! Will NOT be returning. read more

I initially signed up at this location formally on Dodge in 2010. I have maintained my membership since that time. Last year, Massage Envy increased its monthly fee from $49.00 to $65.00 a month. I called because the notice only stated your fee would be increased but it was not immediately clear by how much. Fast forward, I had quite a few prepaid sessions that I had not used so I have a friend coming into town who has never had a massage so I asked to transfer some to her. There is a fee that I asked could be waived and the manager on duty did waive the $10.00 fee. Good deal! But what was unnerving was the fact that I had 6 prepaid on my account and just wanted to give my best friend a 90 minute massage and I was told that it's a corporate policy that would not allow me to transfer more than one session a month. I had done this only one other time in 2014. What concerns me is that I don't regularly transfer however; these sessions have already been paid for by me so I guess I'm a little frustrated because they are mine and I should be able to request this type of transfer. So I am not happy with the corporate policy because it appears to limit a person's ability to use what they have already paid for prior. So I just wanted to write out this review because I do not care for this policy. The policy should be changed especially when membership fees were presented as grandfathered in however; was later increased so corporate can do that they should allow members to use their prepaid for transfer without placing such a restriction on it. read more

My husband and I are both members and have been going to Massage Envy at Rockbrook on a monthly basis for the last three years. Before that, I would go to salons or spas to get my massages. We decided that, for a $45 one hour massage, you can't beat Massage Envy. I think this location is one of the more professional in the the Omaha area. At other locations I had to listen to the front desk staff talk loudly about their personal lives and say negative things about the therapists. As far as the therapists are concerned, one must keep in mind that not all therapists are created equally. We have had some less than ideal ones, and we just ask to not have those therapists in the future. When I've gone to spas in the past, I have had horrible massages, and had to pay $100 dollars for them. What I'm trying to say is, one is probably just as likely to get a bad massage from Massage Envy than they are from anywhere else. I have never had the negative experiences that the last two reviewers have mentioned, but I think I would probably say something to the manager if I were covered in bruises! It's also important to talk to to your therapist. If something hurts, tell them! They aren't mind readers. Over the last three years that I have gone to Massage Envy, I have had some excellent massages. Usually, I try to remember the names of therapists that have done a particularly good job, and ask for them in the future. If you ask for a therapist by name, they get a couple extra dollars. Remember, Massage Envy therapists only get about $13/hour and no employee benefits, so they rely on your tips! I only have to pay $45, but I tip like I would if I went to a salon and got a $100 massage. Also, if they book you for a one hour session, that is actually a 50 minute "hands on time" frame. It seems deceitful, but it's done so the therapist has enough time to clean up the room and meet with the next client, and be on time. Remember, these therapists are only getting $13/hr, and you are only paying around $45, so cut them some slack. If you want 60 minutes instead of 50 minutes "hands on time", you are free to pay an extra $55 dollars for those extra ten minutes, and go to another location. read more
