In addition to teaching in their classroom space, my students used several of the healing rooms. Each was nicely furnished with a soothing color painted on the walls. Lovely relaxing music wafts throughout the center, and the students found that during their practice sessions they were able to deeply relax in the very nurturing environment. They also have a nice gift shop where customers can select from an array of healing crystals, aromatherapy oils, healing jewelry and more. The entire center was very clean, and quiet. I was on a very tight travel schedule and unfortunately I was unable to personally schedule a massage. However, I heard several very satisfied customers exclaim that their massage was "the Best ever!" If I am in the area again, I will be sure to schedule time for a massage.

He had, after all, just been woken from his nap in one of the pedicure chairs). Shame on me. Donkey kicks ya once and all that.... The person attending to my feet was either new or just incredibly unskilled/untrained. There was a sort of stabbing at the toenails of my right foot with the buff block; on my left foot, she didn't even bother to switch to the buff block, just used the nail file in a completely ineffective motion. Once the cuticle nippers were involved, there was a sort of flicking motion, but no actual nipping, *until* I had to stop her from using the cuticle nippers on a callous on the side of my toe (was she just going to CUT into my skin?) Meanwhile, the person attending to my manicure (basic mani: just clean up the cuticles, shape the nail, not even any polish) used one of her own nails to push back one of my cuticles. Then made me bleed when she tried to clip it, probably because it hadn't been handled correctly. save your money and get your hibiscus lemonade somewhere else

We stopped by today and were disappointed with our service. We did the manicure service, 3 regular and 1 dip. 3 of the 4 technicians were good and attentive. One of the technicians was on her phone the entire service. Texting in between each nail, watching TikTok videos, little regard to the service or quality of the maincure. We were told the total was 105 but were charged $120 (no that didn't include the tip). I questioned but was told that was the price. Overall started fine but walked out disappointed and dissatisfied. My hair type is naturally blonde, thin, wavy and coarse. I like to wear it longer as I feel I am…read more"hiding" in it. I have always been very self conscious of my hair. I have also not been a very good owner of my hair with use of box dyes and (I can't believe I'm publicly admitting this) SunIn (yes, even as recently as the summer of 2020...I'm almost 40 here people...). Carrie was highly recommended to me from several friends and co-workers in and around the area. As long as I'm going all out in admitting my self inflicted hair disasters publicly to the world, I also suffer from chronic anxiety. One of my anxiety "tics" is picking. 90% of this picking tic occurs on my scalp. So now I'm also adding to more hair distress with my medical condition as well as my self destructive hair behavior. I'm really a fun person, I promise. Since the first moment that I sat down in Carrie's chair, she never made me feel embarrassed or self conscious about my hair, my scalp or even how I viewed myself in her mirror after getting my hair washed and comparing myself to Golam from Lord of the Rings. Since going to Carrie, my hair AND scalp have become intensely healthier and happier (minus my SunIn self disaster, which is important to know for this review.) Carrie recommended the best type of professional hair care products for my hair type, my scalp type and what to avoid. She has become so close to my hair that she can tell when I have had a lot of anxiety in my life just by my scalp. I have even begun to openly start a conversation with "HEY!! No anxiety for the last six weeks! Look at my scalp!" or "girl, watch out for the area around 10:48 and 4:23 on my head...let me tell you whats going on..." How AMAZING is it to have a hairstylist that HELPS you physically and mentally?! The SunIn fiasco...you guys remember that stuff from the early 90's? Well, I apparently remembered it and thought it was a good idea. Using this for a full day in the sun was not a good idea, nor did it bring the Sun In to my hair. In fact, this product fried the every loving crap out of my hair so badly I had to lose several inches of length to reach the healthier potions. Carrie knew that this would cause me to become anxious and prior to the inches coming off, we sat and talked about why it needed to be done and the process of getting my hair back to the healthy state that it was pre-self demise. What I'd like you take from my review are several things. I have openly admitted, publicly, for strangers to read for years to come about my chronic anxiety and the tic it comes with. This is embarrassing for me but I really want others who are coming here to read a review and make a decision about being styled be Carrie to know that she is naturally comforting, sincere and genuine. She has helped me get my hair back to the length I love, with hair that is so healthy and beautiful that I FEEL beautiful. I love the atmosphere of her salon, it isn't overpowering but rather comforting. The stylists who rent her chairs are amazing people as well. Listening to them talk to their clients, you can tell that they have been with them for years. If you don't want a stylist who cares about the health of your hair AND you, then don't go to Carrie because that is exactly who you're going to get. **the picture is the first cut post SunIn, loss of 3/4 inches and you can tell I feel AMAZING!!! All because of Carrie!**
