I have been going here for years and I thoroughly enjoy massages from Ildy. Their best therapist. I showed up for my appointment today and they said they tried to contact me several times and said they left messages to let me know my therapist is out of the country. I looked through my phone and see no voicemails as well as my call logs and there is nothing. From them this week. Yesterday however I was sent a text message confirming my appointment today. They told me this text communication is automated and was sent to me by mistake. The assistant manager explained to me yes she saw my appointment on the books yesterday and cancelled it. Why did she not think to text me or call me when she cancelled my appointment? I do not live down the street. I drive across town but o see Ildy. I am not a morning person. I woke up early just to see her. The attitude and lack of empathy from their staff is appalling. I am not happy after years of coming to them. This is upsetting. This is not about money it is about principle and the way they handled it infuriates me and is a complete waste of time. All they provided were excuses. read more

Went on a Sunday and they literally had one therapist working. Lately it's nearly impossible to book an appointment with a skilled massage therapist, their staff has dwindled as all the good therapists have found better paying jobs. They just raised prices AGAIN and my last massage was so bad I almost asked for my money back. This place has gone from a thriving, bustling service provider which had a variety of great therapists, to a quiet ghost town in which you are lucky if you can actually book a decent therapist and not get cancelled. We've been members for going on 10 years but ME has skyrocketed in pricing but sunk to the bottom of the muck in service. Lest I forget, "membership" system is predatory and unfair as well. If you want to cancel your membership, you must do it 10 days BEFORE your next billing cycle. I called today to cancel and they told me it takes 10 days to process a cancellation. LOL. Another way to screw loyal members. Then you have 60 days (2 months) to use whatever unused services you have accrued. I haven't been able to get a decent massage scheduled in over 2 months and now that's how long I have to use three accrued services. Prediction: ME will be seeing some Class Action suits before too long, and will fold shortly thereafter, they just simply can't continue like this, raising prices and lowering quality. read more

I canceled my subscription they kept a whole 90 minute massage of my money because they improperly booked me and then cancelled my appt without telling me. I wouldn't even recommend this place.... not even to my enemies. The worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. They don't know how to keep their customers . When you try to call corporate, they tell you they don't even have a corporate number for you to talk to someone directly . if you want to hand away your money for free then go here. Massage Envy fail! I've been an active loyal member for years. I was scheduled for a 90 minute massage at 3:30 pm at Massage Envy Green Valley in Henderson. At 2:17 I received a text that the massage was canceled because of a unexpected emergency. When clients cancel, they are charged for the service. I called to ask for recompense for my inconvenience and was told that they don't offer that. I asked for a manager and was contacted the next day offering another time slot which I couldn't take advantage of because I was out of town. Then I was offered a $15 enhancement. I feel I should receive a free massage since that is what they charge a client for not showing up. The manager said she would get back to me. Still haven't heard from them. read more

I went to massage envy and scheduled a facial. I haven't been in this location and wanted to give a chance. Front desk was clean they did they had to ladies working on the phone. They do have some chairs in the lobby. My appointment was at 12, I arrive few minutes early for my facial. I will recommend for them to have everything ready before the guest arrives for the service. The steam equipment needs to be properly cleaned, full of water and ready for the service. In the middle of my facial session the steam machine stop because didn't had enough water the lady had to stop doing my massage. She had had to go and get some water to put it into the machine and try to fix it. It was an awkward moment. That never happened to me before. read more

TLDR: they canceled my husbands appointment after we had already arrived and paid for the session because the therapist was "uncomfortable with the humor on his intake form." They did issue a refund, but no other effort was made to rectify the issue. I brought my husband here as a surprise. He and I are licensed massage therapists ourselves, and it's rare we get worked on. I dropped him off, paid for the session, and left. Only to find that his appointment was cancelled because Maria didn't like the humor he put of clarifying he isn't pregnant though he is male, of clarifying his cells grow but not at an acceleration rate because he doesn't have cancer and all these other harmless humor while answering questions. I was told that he couldn't have humor on his intake form and was turned away because of it. My husband and I have been licensed for 14 years each, 8 of which we have spent with massage envy at various locations in Utah, Oregon, and Nevada. We see humor on the intake all the time. I think therapist Maria was looking for an excuse to not work on a 90 minute in the morning, and her manager was supporting her decision because she can't legally reprimand a therapist who states they aren't comfortable. The manager tried to tell me that we wouldn't put humor like this to a doctor intake form. Do you really want to bet that? read more

I've visited twice now for massages and so far so good. When I've called to make appointments I've always been greeted by a friendly employee. Credit cards are required to hold reservations. It takes a minute to schedule since they also go over policies and promotions on the phone too. I do appreciate that they take the time to clearly cover policies including cost though. Upon arrival they had me fill out paperwork each time. Then it's to the quiet room until the therapist comes in to take you to the massage room. Once in the room the therapist will instruct you to undress to your comfort and they'll leave while you do so. My massages were with two different therapists and I enjoyed both massages very much. Both were great at making sure massage pressure was right, that I enjoyed my massage, and they were very professional. The male therapist I had for my second massage managed to provide a relaxing massage while also working out my muscles. I felt the positive effects of my massage in the form of loosened muscles for days afterwards. It was wonderful. The massage membership is a nice deal and something to consider. My return rate of $95 (after $55 introductory rate) for an hour is a little steep for this kind of place. I would probably just spend the extra money for a nice spa location if I was going to spend that much money. I did enjoy the massage enough to consider springing for a membership and making this a regular thing. read more

I've been a regular at Massage Envy for almost 2 years. This past year I've been going to the Anthem location until my masseuse quit. I tried several other therapists including their "most requested", only to be disappointed every time. I was about to cancel my membership, so I decided to use up the last few massages I had on my account. I tried my luck with a different location here in Green Valley. I informed the front desk about issues I've been having in Anthem, and they so kindly placed me with Steve. Steve worked on my knots like a professional with several years experience and was extremely attentive to my needs. I feel so much better! His firm pressure and deep tissue massage is highly recommended. I already rebooked with him for next week. Our therapist Yama has always been great and provides the best service and is one of the nicest people. Literally the worst massages I've ever had! I've been with massage envy for years and been extremely happy. However, every time I have been to this location it has been horrible. I've never reviewed this location though because I thought I just hadn't found a therapist I liked. Today was the worst experience ever! I've given this location too many chances...I'm not paying for someone to shake and poke me during a "massage" and physically make me sick from the motion. Now I understand why I can get an appointment here when my location is booked. Obviously people aren't coming as often as the other locations. I have no idea how this location can have a better rating than Anthem. The Anthem location is amazing. In addition to the therapists not being great here, the front desk staff isn't friendly. The staff in the front of a business set the tone for how your visit is going to go. People usually go to get a massage because they want to relax, enjoy themselves or they are hurting. All of those reasons are reasons you don't want to deal with a rude receptionist! If my normal location doesn't have any openings, I will just wait. Yama has done a completely satisfactory massage on my last appointment in. Therefore, my girlfriend booked an appointment for me with him again a week out to be sure we could get a time that would work for me. As soon as she booked the time, she wrote it down on our calendar and also put it into our google calendar that we share so we can be in sync with each others hectic schedules. Today as I'm getting ready for my appointment that I believed was at 2:30, I get a courtesy phone call at 2:10 asking where I was because my appointment was for 2:00 I was told. I am made aware that if I am able to show up at 2:30, I can still get 60 minutes of my paid 90 minute massage. That won't work because I would book a 60 minute massage if I wanted 60 minutes. Principle of the matter is that we are so tight on scheduling that we operate our very lives like a business to make sure we are never late. Seriously, my hair stylist and my employer can attest to that. My inclination is that there was perhaps, an error, on putting the time into their appointment calendar. So I decided swiftly that the massage therapist should not be the one to suffer because of others miscommunication or error so I notified that I would not be coming in and to go ahead and charge the card. This is a very frustrating experience for me, If I wanted to throw away money over these types of incidences, I would prefer to have donated more to one of the #VegasStrong causes. It upsets me too because I have seen a previous review from last year of a similar error so I can see how this will probably play out. My 1 year membership seems to be ending so I'll probably burn the remaining credits I have at another location and terminate. read more

My son got me a gift certificate for a massage from here for my birthday. First of all, a massage is supposed to be relaxing. The room was not relaxing at all. I could hear noise from the reception area. There were no candles, or incense burning, and it wasn't dark or dim - bright lights were on. I don't think my masseuse knew anything about massage. It was like getting a gentle backrub from my husband. I even told her I wanted her to concentrate on my shoulders, since that's where I keep my tension, but she completely ignored me and kept rubbing my lower back. Afterwards they asked me if I wanted to buy a year's membership. The words "When pigs fly" popped into my mind. Skip this place! Go somewhere else, anywhere else. I am out of town visiting a friend so I booked us massages. I am a member and I booked a massage with Dianesse and my friend had a massage with Britton. Dianesse was kind and pleasant. I told her my concerns and asked for a light pressure massage. I can honestly say it's the first time I've fallen asleep during a massage. It was very relaxing. i cant say that i had a great experience at this location. I am a member and have been for a very long time. But this massage envy really made me question continuing my membership. I walked in and find the front desk associates to be on their phone not even acknowledging me walking in. I noticed their were a lot of employees at the front desk. I checked in for my hour and a half massage but the front desk staff made it feel as if i was impeding on their social time. I went into the other lounge area to sit and relax before my massage and i couldn't even think in my own head it was so loud where everyone was at in the very front lobby. While my sister was convalescing at my house after Esophageal and stomach cancer i suggested she try a therapeutic massage at ME green valley. She did and said it felt pretty good to relax and destress but that her spirt got a huge boost. Losing half your esophagus and 3/4 of your stomach to cancer is devastating and I can't even imagine. She was so excited to join ME and take advantage of the services in NY that she joined that day. When she returned to NY she had a few setbacks and surgeries. As a result she had to call and suspend her ME account as well as a few other accounts until she was able to continue. When she called ME and told them of her situation and where she lived they refused to suspend the account until she came in. When she explained that the NY and NV distance would be prohibitive to come in as she is bed ridden. MASSAGE ENVY GREEN VALLEY told her to go to the doctors and get paperwork to prove her claim. I am just so angry right now that when I get back from taking care of my sister and her kids in NY I'm going over there to speak to the manager AND the owner as I was told when I called that they just don't suspend accounts. That, is BS as I would place my account on hold anytime I wanted for a specific time period. I brought plenty of people to ME over the last 10 years and I'm going to contact them all to cancel their accounts at this location.
