One product is out, and I ask an associate if they have more in stock. She barely stops and says no before walking away. I ask another associate, who at least tried to call someone to look in the back, but the person she called was the same person who didn't want to look for me. I try to find another product. Same deal. I ask an associate, and she doesn't want to look in the back, saying that maybe someone stole it, and that's why it is saying it is in stock. Very disappointing, and Sephora has lost money and potentially a Rouge customer. FYI, messiest Sephora I have ever been in.

I've had my eye on the NYX lip lingerie lip stain pencil for a while, and up until a couple of weeks ago it's only been available online. This Ulta is relatively new and it's located just across the street from Westfarms Mall. I like…read moreshopping at this Ulta because all areas of the store are really well stocked, especially currently during the holiday season. There are also plenty of special edition gift sets available. Ulta is a great shopping experience for three reasons. Majority of the items have testers, so you can touch, play and see how they work for you, before you purchase. The other reason is they sell high end products and drugstore items in the same store. Also, there are several brands and products that are exclusively sold at Ulta and no other brick and mortar location. At this location there's a wide variety of hair products and hair tools, skin care, fragrances, makeup as well as a trial sized section. The staff working at this Ulta location are very knowledgeable about the products and are ready to answer any questions. There are several services this Ulta location offers, I haven't utilized any of them, so I can't comment on the quality. They offer ear piercing. Hair services, such as haircuts, color and style. They also offer eyebrow services and makeup for a special event. I enjoy shopping at Ulta of West Hartford, and I'll continue shopping here in the future.

I believe it was very fair and I am very happy with the very timely response I received. I also have to acknowledge Megan (sp.) who did my treatment today. She is amazingly accommodating and personable. She explained every little step and was thorough. I appreciate the response I received and I am beyond pleased that you take your customers seriously! Thank you, with sincerity, for correcting the issue and making it right. Old: If I could do zero stars, I would. I got treatments when it was still at the old location, so probably 10 years ago... upper lip, chin, bikini... 9 treatments for all areas... with touch ups, which you have to pay for as well... well life got busy and I haven't been in for a few years and I was forced to give them a call again because all my hair grew back...not a little bit, all of it! I went in for an evaluation on April 13, 2019 I was told I will get a phone call because the pictures have to be submitted to corporate(this location is privately owned btw) today is June 4th, 2019 I still have yet to hear from anyone. I have called at least 4 times, each time I was promised a call back at least to update me on the progress of my situation, still nothing, last time I called I was told there were no notes of me calling or my predicament, so unable to get an answer and due to terrible customer service, and the fact that I paid thousands of dollars for a failed service, I downloaded yelp app and am leaving this review, because the terrible handling of this situation shouldn't happen to anyone, especially anyone who has paid thousands of dollars cor

Sure, the people at Ideal Image are nice enough. But their prices are RIDICULOUS!!…read more I went for a quote for laser hair removal for legs and underarms. Lucky me, they're having a leg sale!! Sale price: $4,700. Alleged original price: $14,220. Underarms: sale price $1,414.80. Original price: $3,537.00. Bikini line: sale price $1,563.30. Original price: $3,908.25. My total cost - on sale - would be $7,678.10. Yeah, I'd rather shave, thanks! I don't know if they give sky high "original" prices to make their sale prices seem reasonable, but they aren't. I found another clinic that charges a quarter of the price, is closer to my house, and has better reviews! Their quote is shady too because it shows as 16 months unlimited* (the * noting it is in fact limited to 9 sessions, 5 standard treatments and 4 touch ups). Unlimited, it is not. If you've heard their ads that they guarantee the services for life...you actually have to pay $250 EXTRA for that "guarantee". Everything about Ideal Image sent up red flags. From the terrible reviews, to the high pressure sales tactics, to the ridiculous pricing. I will definitely never go back.

Be that as it may, I am a fan of many of the Kiehl's products, too. As many of you probably already know, Kiehl's was founded as a single pharmacy in New York City's East Village in 1851, and purchased by the L'Oréal Group in 2000. L'Oréal had pursued the purchase of the company for more than two years, but the real catalyst for a deal came when Kiehl's had difficulty handling the growing volume of orders due to the company's growing popularity. They currently have more than 30 retail stores worldwide, supplemented by sales in high-end department stores such as Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom. In contrast to its market competitors, Kiehl's is distinguished for its unorthodox marketing approach, exceptionally large male clientele base and its products' simple and straightforward packaging. Compared to its competitors, Kiehl's states that it spends three to five more times on its upscale natural cosmetic products. At the same time, Kiehl's merchandise is "priced at the lower end of prestige skin care" while being distinguished for its simple and straightforward packing "which speaks to the old apothecary concept." To this day, Kiehl's signature products, such as its Blue Astringent, Creme de Corps and Original Musk Oil, continue to remain customer favorites. To market its products, Kiehl's applies a non-traditional marketing approach that "relies heavily on free product samples, word of mouth endorsements from existing customers, and innovative marketing techniques."Particularly known for its generous sampling policy, "Kiehl's gave away more than 12 million samples a year, which represents 80 percent of their total marketing budget" according to Lynn Upshaw in Truth: The New Rules for Marketing in a Skeptical World. Upshaw writes, "The Kiehl's way of 'selling' is not to sell at all... They believe the products will do what they do and no hype will change that."Donations, most prominently in charity event gift bags, also attract customers." Kiehl's also has a recycling program that allows the guest to bring empties to the store, where they are taken in exchange for stamps on a card. Get 10 stamps and you receive a full size product ($25 value) free. I use their antiperspirant, and my companion uses many of their products. We stopped in today, using the 20% off coupon sent via email (a Friends and Family sale). Staff in this store is exceptionally knowledgable and friendly, welcoming and efficient. While I purchase Kiehl's products from my employer (as I always get 20% off with my associate discount and free shipping from my company's *.com end), using this store during events like this is absolutely on my list. Knowing now that they have a recycling program that rates me a free full sized product with every 10 empties turned in gives me all the more reason to put them aside. It's a nicely appointed, but small store. There is no barber service on site (the flagship in NYC has a barber salon that, while I've not tried it, is rumored to be impressive). But if you're a fan of Kiehl's, you need to stop in. Second floor, Nordstrom wing, directly above Lush Cosmetics. It's on the right as you're walking toward Nordies.

I let her know all this, and after an intake interview and the appropriate forms for a first visit, she went to work. It was evident to me, and she confirmed when I asked, that she not only is a massage therapist, she is a weightlifter. So she is very strong and was able to really dig in to the many problem areas in my back. At the same time, though, she has an excellent feel in her hands, so she was able to sense what my muscles needed, and no more. She also took direction well if I needed her to ease up in a sore area or to push harder than she had expected she needed to. Excellent massage, as I told her after, the best one I've ever had that didn't involve hot stones. And the equal of an amazing hot stones massage I had 11 years ago. In addition to being a superb, professional and attentive massage therapist, Tia is courteous and friendly. Lots of good cheer. And her facility is organized, well appointed, comfortable, warm and welcoming. The building she's located in, on the second floor, is somewhat rough on the exterior, But I encourage potential customers not to be put off by that. The massage you get, the person who gives it to you, plus the studio, are gold. She's a block and a half from the big court houses near the Capitol. I would say it's a great place for a break from work during the day. I visited after work and was happy I did. All that, and her fee was more than reasonable. Highly recommend.
