She put so much lotion on my feet that my feet kept slipping out of her hands and she would have to hold on by almost pinching me - she also used so much it got all over my pants and I can not get the stain out. I will send pictures. (For this I would like a full reimbursement for the message to cover some of what the pants cost) When she had me on my stomach she pulled down my pants and my undergarments and it was really uncomfortable for me. I asked her before hand if she wanted all clothes removed - she just motioned to my shirt. Then proceeded to pull my pants down when I was in the table face down. Not okay. She also was very sloppy in her technique - again so much lotion. Then she would touch my spine frequently which is not okay in any sense. Multiple times - hence the not trained. She also at one point crawled up on me put her knees on my back thighs and arched my back up towards her by pulling my arms back! How is this relaxing? It was painful and not what anyone would have expected. These are some of the reasons I gave the score I did.

I highly recommended Cindy. After her massage, I found out she was disappointed. She said the massage was very soft and lacked effort. I was sad to hear this, 1) because it was her birthday 2) because I recommended her. I have been massaged by Cindy 3-4 times, and I have had nothing but great experiences. We consider the cause being that it was late (7pm appointment), they might be tired, etc... But, if that is the case, DO NOT TAKE APPOINTMENTS UNTIL 9pm. I would suggest going earlier in the day, or possibly trying a different masseuse. My Mom's Experience: Appointment with Cindy, 60 minute Deep Tissue Massage. (May2024, early afternoon) After the massage when checking out, my mom was going to give a $15 tip. Whoever was receiving her payment insisted, "No, for this service you tip $20". &stated so several times, because my mom thought she misheard. She tipped the $20, walked out. After a relaxing massage, this would have put me in a bad mood. But, my mom enjoyed it so much, she said she'd be back and next time schedule a longer time. I don't like interactions like this. If you want us to tip you a certain amount, just put it into the service cost and state "Tip is built into the cost of the service", and that be the end of it. The massage: As I said, my mom was completely happy with her service. She said that the deep tissue was too much for her. With these last 2 experiences by my family, I don't know that I would recommend Cindy again to friends. I hope these instances are just flukes. But, if you are not consistent in the way you treat people or how you perform your services, how do you expect people to want to come back? So, I am conflicted about this business. We also really liked how Melissa had us fill out a form first that asks us about our bodies. I found this awesome and super helpful to show areas where I was super tight and wanted her to focus on. Most massage places we go to just seat us and don't ask us any questions. We also thought she applied the right amount of pressure and was able to focus on areas she felt that we were tight. That doesn't typically happen because I consider deep tissue to be therapeutic not necessarily relaxing as it tends to hurt. Guess I'll have to come back... :) The space is small and the massage areas are separated by curtains not walls. That's the only downside.
