I am because a friend and I looked up elegance nails last night and ended up there, but the sign said VIP nails. I'm under the impression that it is the same place, and maybe they changed their name. Anyhow, it's a Friday evening at 6:50, and like any other sane women, a friend and I got the itch for some last minute relaxation. Desperate, I called around to find that every other nail salon closes at 7 pm. Luckily, they answered and said they didn't close until 7:30 and said to rush right over! We arrived probably at 7:15, so obviously the workers were going to stay much later than closing to accommodate us. I "collect" massages from all over the world and I definitely have my favorite spas. But my friend really wanted to get one so I went along expecting to be disappointed. When you walk inside it's a nice rental office space, nicer than most in Amarillo that I've seen. The masseuse met us at the door and I sat in the waiting area while my friend had her hour massage first. Then it was my turn. This young lady is petite and quiet. I really enjoy deep tissue and was afraid she couldn't do it hard enough for me to enjoy the massage. But after changing and getting on the table, she came in quietly and got straight to work. I was pleasantly shocked how strong she was. Until this massage, I've never been able to relax completely without thinking.
