I cannot accurately explain the release and sensations. It was almost like an out of body experience. It was kind of like an electric feeling before my muscles spasmed and released all kinds of tension. I left there elated and with the biggest smile on my face. I cannot wait to see this bodywork again. Once again Tricia has exceeded my expectations which are pretty high with her since she is amazing. I have been a client of hers since 2018 and have personally witnessed her amazing growth. She is always learning and I will always be her guinea pig!!!!!

Let me first be 100% clear that I actually am a Licensed Massage Therapist with 7 years under my…read morebelt. I am currently the only Massage Therapist at my place of work so I tend to ask my husband to help me out with the knot I get under/along my scapula. He doesn't like it and doesn't really know what he's doing so it's more like a temporary fix until the next day when I have to ask him again. Well anyways, he was trying to surprise me/he was getting tired of me asking him so he booked me a session here. My normal go to place was booked out 3 months and most places around didn't have any availability for same day appointments. He found this place. He was nervous because like I said I am a Therapist and I have pretty high standards BECAUSE I know how sessions should go. So we arrived here and I gave him a funny look. The "what is this?" look. He says just try it. So I'm taken directly back to the table. The guy told me to put my stuff in this tote box and lay face down on the table fully dressed. He starts working on my back and shoulders and hips. The session itself was great! The pressure was fantastic and he did get my knot out!!!!! I had zero wait when I arrived. For a 60 minute deep tissue and a little hot stone add on it was definitely worth the money. The ONLY REASON I didn't give a 5 star is because I didn't fill out any forms. I didn't sign any consent forms. He didn't ask for any kind of health/relative medical history. All the things every legit therapist/practice should do to protect both Client and Therapist/business from any kind of harm/legal liabilities. I know sometimes doing this extra step can be tedious but if you're legit you're going to do this to protect yourself. But like I said, as far as the actual session itself it was great but fortunately I don't have any conflicts that would have happened due to getting a massage.

Updating my review in light of COVID --…read more The health spa is still open during COVID and is taking additional precautions to protect staff and customers. Staff and customers have to wear masks, they limit the amount of people allowed in the spa at one time, and they wipe down/clean and disinfect everything after each customer comes. I did a couples massage with my husband for 90 minutes with hot stone therapy and it was so nice. Even with wearing a mask it was still easy to relax and enjoy after all the stress 2020 has brought us all lol. Nina was my masseuse and my husband had Linda. Both ladies were very nice and attentive and did an amazing job! I told Nina I do a lot of computer work for my job, so she focused a lot on getting out the tension from my head, neck, shoulders, and lower back/sciatica/tailbone area since those are tender spots when you're working remotely from home on a computer all day Anyways, definitely would recommend to anyone looking to have a pamper/treat yourself day.
