It has been one month since I had the microblading & shading combo on my eyebrows. I am beyond…read morethrilled that I had this done at Vivo. I had very little or my original eyebrows left and I've been drawing them on for several years. I spent a month researching 6 places, including reading reviews, calling the locations and talking to them and doing general internet research on the process. I know this is semi-permanent, so I wasn't going to trust my face to either a process or a place I didn't trust. Prices were all within 5%, so cost was not part of my decision. I wanted to make sure I understood how much experience the person had with doing the process. After spending 15 minutes with Vi for my free consultation - I knew she was my choice. Both during the consultation and at the actual appointment, Vi spent time explaining the procedure she would perform as well as what to expect for recovery. The initial process took 2 hours and started with the application of a topical numbing cream. As the cream did its job, she then drew several options on - asking me which I preferred, then tweaking it and asking and tweaking until we had the right shape for my face. She listened to what I was looking for and we discussed color/how dark. She kept making sure I was comfortable and kept asking if I had any questions. Now time for the procedure itself. We started with the shading which is similar to having a permanent tattoo. It hurt a tiny bit more than I was expecting, but not so much that I had her stop at any point. After the shading, then she did the manual micro-blading strokes (which hurt less for me). I let her take pictures before, throughout and after the process. She sent me the pictures by the time I arrived at home! The area around the brows was a little red and the brows DARK - but I was able to go out in public that evening. WOW - my eyebrows are gorgeous. They are a better shape than I was drawing on myself all these years. I swear I look 10 years younger. I also find that I'm wearing less eye shadow than I previously did. I've been showing them off to my friends - and every person couldn't tell until I pointed it out to them. That is how natural they look! RECOVERY - you need to follow the after procedure instructions. Granted - since I followed them 95% I don't know what would really have happened if I hadn't. For the first 5-7 days, you apply a clear cream to help with healing (same as if you got a permanent tattoo). You don't get them wet either - so that was tough for me (no showers for 4-5 days). Dry shampoo only hid my oily/dirty hair so much - so I wore my shoulder length hair up in a clip. I did shower on day 5, but I put an extra thick layer of the cream on my brows and tried super hard not to let much water get on them. As they heal in the first 10-14 days, they will ITCH and you need to avoid touching them - particularly as minor scabs form and flake off. That sounds gross and noticeable - but it wasn't. Also, as described, my eyebrows were definitely darker in those first 10-14 days until all the "scabs" fell off. After 6 weeks (2 more to go), I will return for touch-up (included in the price). I totally recommend Vivo Day Spa if you want this procedure. FYI - they offer a lot of other spa services and I plan to check out both the facials and the massages in the very near future.

Had a superb and healing massage today. Booked 60 minutes and the masseuse was very skilled…read more Short form to fill out in which i indicated my problem areas. An hour plus of discovering all the knots of tension in my body. Would return!

Sanu is a wonderful concept and the execution delivers! My wife and I stayed here after the birth…read moreof our son so that mom could get some well deserved recovery time. From the moment you walk in you're greeted by friendly team members who walk you through every step of your stay. They're reachable all the time via a WhatsApp group, which we found convenient and helpful. The suites are comfortable and well equipped, just like staying at a luxury hotel, just with all the baby stuff you could need and more. We actually discovered some of our favorite products (baby cream and oil) from Sanu staff picks. The dinners were a great chance for mom and dad to take a breath together while the super professional caretakers watched our son. We felt at ease having them care for him, as we were given access to the Lollipop camera in case we wanted to take a look at how he was doing. The Sanu team really took great care of us and we'll look back on our stay as a fond memory during such an important time in our lives. Highly recommend considering a stay for your postpartum recovery, there's really nothing else like it.

Sanu Postpartum Retreat has some positives, but unfortunately, the cons outweigh them for me…read more **Pros:** - The staff and doulas were very friendly and helpful, which was a highlight of my stay. - They offered a complimentary massage to make up for being short-staffed the first night, which I appreciated. - Baby essentials like diapers and wipes were provided, as well as postpartum necessities for mom, including pads, diapers, and a peri bottle. - They were accommodating with offers to watch the baby in-room for day naps. - The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained. - The infant classes were informative, albeit very short (around 10 minutes each). - The 24/7 open line of communication through WhatsApp with the staff and doulas was very convenient. It made it easy to get help or ask questions at any time. **Cons:** - The facility was occasionally short-staffed, meaning there were times they couldn't respond to baby care requests promptly. - The nursery camera had frequent outages and only provided a limited view of the baby's bassinet. If the baby was being changed or soothed elsewhere, they were out of sight, which was very concerning. After I complained, they made arrangements to hold my baby in a private room where she could be seen on camera at all times. While I appreciated this effort, it didn't seem to be the standard, and I had to request it again the next night. - The food quality was disappointing--overcooked dishes like mac and cheese, steak, and chicken were common. - Meal policies felt restrictive; moms were only allowed one entrée per meal (no appetizers or desserts), which differed from older welcome packets that mentioned more options. - There were also supply issues--one evening, I ordered shrimp, but they were unavailable, forcing me to choose another dish. - The menu lacked variety, staying the same throughout the stay. - The parent lounge snacks were underwhelming--just chips and granola bars. This was disappointing, especially since the hospital where I delivered offered a much better variety of snacks for free. Breastfeeding makes you very hungry, and with meals spread so far apart (7 a.m.-10 a.m., noon, and 7 p.m.), I had to order snacks from the grocery store during my stay. A more thoughtful selection of snacks would have been a great benefit. - Many appealing amenities came at an additional cost: massages, IV treatments, partner meals, parking, and more. These extras add up quickly. Overall, while the idea of a postpartum retreat is fantastic, the execution at $880/night felt far from luxurious. Too many corners are being cut, and the experience didn't feel as relaxing or premium as I had hoped. In hindsight, that money would have been better spend on a postpartum doula to come in home and help. Unfortunately, I will not be recommending this retreat to others.
