Being a customer/patient of audiologists in the Concord, NH area for probably 30 years, I have…read morerotated through several of the providers in town. Of the 4 offices that come to mind, New England Audiology has been my best personal and professional interaction of all. Other "businesses" (and face it, the sale of hearing aids is often the major source of revenue for audiology practices) have not come close to the sense of belonging to a family of concerned, dedicated, and highly competent specialists. Dr. Jaques has been my audiologist for over 10-12 years. I switched to her care when the "made of iPhone" hearing aids were first being released, and having a Bluetooth enabled device that beams your phone calls (and music, podcasts, etc.) binaurally was going to be a game changer. But the former provider, who had sold me Oticon hearing aids (very high quality; check out Consumer Reports), was unable to provide any model of "Made for iPhone" devices. Oticon was pursuing their own accessory device, which I think they finally jettisoned in favor of what had become the standard: made for iPhone. And the new hearing aids from NE Audiology were about half the price that I had paid for the Oticon ones about 5 years earlier. Since I started going to Dr. Jacques, she has added additional staff, as well as taking on audiology students to give them training and real world experience. I have had consistently excellent care. As a retired physician from Concord Hospital, I had worked with medical students, residents from Dartmouth Medical School, PA students from Mass College of Health Sciences from their Manchester location. I admire the dedication of ANY provider who takes on, at no remuneration, health care students and trainees for training for the next generations of patients. During the COVID pandemic, they were top notch in keeping the patients well cared for, with splendid precautions for everyone's safety. I bought new hearing aids about 3 or 4 years ago, to move up to rechargeable instruments over the tiny batteries. And those tiny batteries are expensive, so 4 years of no trips to CVS, adds up to money saved. Even though changing the batteries is only about once a week (larger devices can handle bigger batteries, so get changed less often) having a bedside charger is even easier. Part of the evening routine: charge the iPhone, charge the smart watch, drop the hearing aids into their charger. All told, I am extremely pleased with NE Audiology. They do have a Manchester office as well, but since I live about 1/2 mile from the Concord office, have never made that trip.

I have referred numerous people to this practice after experiencing nothing less than excellence in customer service. They are problem-solvers. There is a true integrity that takes place with every employee at this office making sure that in a hearing world, we all have the same opportunity! Excellent time on return calls - 2 Convenient locations and Dr.Beth has made a huge difference in our lives. From the moment you call Ann Marie at the front desk -until your hearing appointment is complete, you go away knowing that you have been in the hands of true experts. In a world where healthcare is insurance driven and waiting seems to be the norm/ this is the best experience ever.

Dr. Megan Ford, senior audiologist at HearSmart, conducted Mom's hearing test and recommended an Oticon hearing aid. After Dr. Ford adjusted the new hearing aid, Mom tried it for a few minutes, loved it, and we were on our way back to Mom's assisted-living residence. The entire process took less than an hour, and Mom has been happy with her ability to hear more clearly and participate in group activities. Since then, the hearing aid has performed flawlessly. But last week I received a call from one of the nurses at Mom's residence to inform me that her hearing aid's battery retainer broke and had disabled the device. I'll never know if Mom broke it herself or if one of the aides there snapped it accidentally while inserting a new battery. Anyway, I picked up the broken hearing aid and called HearSmart Audiology to explain the situation with the broken battery retainer. Amy, HearSmart's receptionist, asked if I could drop-off the broken hearing aid so they could assess the issue while I waited. Later that morning, I stopped at HearSmart Audiology and placed the broken hearing aid in the drop-off basket located outside the door of the office. As requested, I went back to my car to wait and watched Amy take the hearing aid inside. Within 15 minutes, a young audiologist came out and told me that he was able to install a brand-new battery retainer. I paid a very reasonable repair fee and the hearing aid was good as new! I was amazed they had spare battery retainers in stock and even more amazed they dropped what they were doing to repair Mom's hearing aid in a matter of minutes. I am writing this review to let others know about the superb service that HearSmart Audiology delivers. Highly recommended!

Dr. Ford's practice was not yet open but she offered to come by the house. Her manner with my mother-in-law (and also my busy toddler) was wonderful: kind, patient and professional. She took the hearing aid home, fixed it, and brought it back to us an hour later in full working order. My mother-in-law was so relieved and grateful - we all were, really. We can't thank her enough for the wonderful service and thoughtfulness. We welcome your practice to Littleton, Dr. Ford and will certainly refer anyone we know to you in the future!

I am fortunate my parents live nearby so I can make visits as needed, and they are always understanding and flexible in accommodating my schedule, even working with me remotely to program my digital hearing aids. I have a congenital bilateral severe-profound hearing loss, profound on the left, where I am eligible for a cochlear implant. Yet I have always done so well with hearing aids, thanks to their skill programming them to fit my needs, an implant is deemed unnecessary. This is a true testament to their skill. I was mainstreamed in public schools with assistive devices and went on to obtain a master's degree and now work as the staff biologist for a national program in the USDA. I cannot thank founder Marcia Dean and current audiologist Todd Sauter enough for their help along the way, I owe my success to their hard work. They quickly understood any issues I was experiencing, despite often lacking the language to describe it, and made adjustments and provided recommendations for the best hearing aids for my needs, patiently trial and erroring different companies when it is time to upgrade. I am always so impressed with the ease of working with them. They are extremely generous with providing tools to care for my hearing aids, and understanding of financial limitations, still finding the best aids for my needs. They are always pleasant and work expediently to prevent patients from waiting long for their exams. I am always happy when I see a busy waiting room as I know everyone is getting the best care, (having tried other audiologists over the years in other states and been seriously disappointed), and I never wait long, even when they squeeze me in the last minute. They have been a dependable mainstay over all my years and moves & I can't recommend them highly enough.

I typically wait only 5 minutes or so in the waiting room when I arrive for an appointment, and then maybe 3-5 minutes max in the exam room for the doctor. Typically you get good, quick service, which isn't true everywhere. The only potential issue is that it can take a while to get routine appointments (they book 3-4 weeks out sometimes). But the few times I've had an urgent appointment they've gotten me in the same day. You usually see the nurse practitioner, but she's great so that's not an issue.
