I can't say enough good about this practice…read more I had been to another chiropractic shortly after my daughter was born for a pelvic subluxation. This doc did fix me up, but was rough and made me feel a bit uneasy. I never allowed him to touch anything near my neck. Then about a year ago, I had a little mini eval by this practice, and much to my own suspicion I was suffering the good ol' Dowager's Hump. And I am not old! I didn't have any pain, but I also didn't want to turn into one of those old ladies with severe kyphosis and a permanent view of my own (sagging) cleavage. I went in for a full evaluation, and can I say WOW?? Holy thorough. The previous chiro experience was nothing like this. I had probably a more thorough exam here than I've had anywhere else (well, of my back, that is). I also went to their new patient information night, which they require as part of their treatment. I could see that this might be inconvenient for some, but the emphasis is on education and hopefully prevention from here on. And keep in mind the education theme is strong in this office. Do not expect to just get an adjustment and walk out of there for every appointment. As a patient, you are taught core strengthening exercises to assist in your adjustments, and periodically re-examined with xray and other ways to ensure that your making progress. They make you a BIG part of the process. The office is clean and modern. They are an "open" treatment office, so there are no private rooms. This never seems to be an issue with anyone and if you do want to speak with Dr. Ed or other staff privately they will accommodate. The staff (everyone!) are awesome. And when they say Family in their biz name, they are not kidding. Not only do they see newborns through older kids, they are very kid friendly. My daughter is all over that place and they are so kind about it. I am sure that there is a huge sigh of relief when we walk out because she is a high maintenance kid, but they never let on that she is. Oh? And my hump? Much improved!! Not only that but other things that I would not have previously noted as a problem have also improved, like how easy it is to get comfortable lying down, exercising, etc, because the adjustments have helped everything so much. I don't ever plan on leaving, even if my spine is perfect. Update 7.2016 After careful thought I decided to leave this practice. While all of the above was true then- things have changed and not for the better. Another chiropractic was added to the practice and I never felt comfortable with him. I felt judged for my size and his "touch" was painful. To get around this I switched to the day Ed was in house, but he clearly is stressed and unable to spend the few extra minutes doing whatever it was that made clients feel welcomed and important to the practice. Office staff turned over a few times, and none really seemed to care either. My last eval done with the tech was never reviewed with me, and the goals approach seemed to go out the window. I guess that the high standards they set for themselves in the past just isn't happening anymore, and I'm sad that I'm in the market for something that will compare to my experience in the past.

For years I had back issues; pinched nerve, sciatica, muscle spasms, general pain. In a matter of…read more10 days, Dr. Ed and Dr. Ryan were able to get me about 90% pain free! I can stand and cook at the stove, I can stand and wash dishes at the sink, and most importantly, I can pick up and hold my granddaughters for more than a minute or two! If you've ever had headaches, back pain, or problems with joint discomfort as I did, go see Dr. Ed and Dr. Ryan!
