lack of privacy in waiting room,check in. heard addresses, birthdates,names of PCP medical person was NOT an MD, completely restricted by rigid protocols, appeared to be designed to generate higher fees refusing to allow common sense requests biggest insult was to refuse to prescribe the appropriate dose of a benign med for even a few days.offered only 1/3 the daily dose- knowingly completely ineffective complete waste of time and $ This is NOT what I expect from the MGH system read more

I was here last week, there was one person in front of me in the waiting room. The check in process has ZERO privacy, the receptionists is behind a huge glass encasement with a tiny mail slot opening to slide you CC or medical card etc. As more people showed up behind me, she is asking my phone number, my birthday, my address, she wants details of all my issues for my visit. You couldn't hear her and she couldn't hear you so you need to raise your voice so now the ENTIRE waiting room is hearing all of your info. This is ridiculous as the reception thought nothing of yelling out your personal info to the waiting room. I waited to be called in, nobody moved for 45 minutes, nobody got called in and nobody came out from the back room, as the waiting room filled up. You sat there waiting as you felt lousy listening to everyone else's personal information and what their info was and hearing all the different co pay amounts people needed to pay. When you finally got called in there was nothing going on in the back, no line of people being helped. This location does not deserve the Mass General Brigham name. You will be better off going to any other urgent care. read more

Great experience here. The wait times were very reasonable, it is an urgent care not an appointment at MD Office so you should expect a wait. The medical assistant and provider Grace NP were both friendly, knowledgeable and efficient with the care provided. The establishment was very clean and the check in process was smooth. I had an awful experience at MGB Urgent Care Natick, MA. I have gone there for the past few years since I became aware of them. (I am a longtime patient at MGB and my father was a physician there and passed away in 1971. I wanted stitches removed today. I was in there 5 days ago and the nurse came out and said, "give that a few more days and come back and we'll take them out." Called today to see how busy they were and why I was calling and I told the receptionist who said that it would cost $75.- and I said that I have MassHealth and she no, you have to pay $75.- I told her that I would come to see her. (I figured going and being the nice guy over 70 yrs, she would let me get the sutures removed). She raised her voice and pointed to something on a paper and I asked her to chill out a bit and see where the problem seems to be. I reported this to MGB and others there who said they were very sorry that it shouldn't have happened. They should have removed your stitches and if they wanted to give you a bill, you could send it to us at MassHealth. But nope. I came home, and had to do it myself! Cool. Next thing, if I have a heart attack or pleurisy, I will go to Beth Israel Hospital where they are a LOT more understanding and, btw, they are nice there. This woman Cecile? was a piece of work and B&W should have a talk with her. They lost me for good. How about treating the patient and thinking about the money after? They saw all my insurance cards. Inexcusable behavior and maybe bad training. Other reviewers are not so happy here either. Note to MGB. A little more training is good for everyone. read more

Excellent urgent care. Very convenient hours and location. I'm glad they partner with VA Healthcare for serving myself and other veterans. Like every other urgent care sometimes the waits are long but I've never experienced anything negative here. read more

There are a number of issues with this facility. 1) There is absolutely zero privacy in the intake process. There is a small opening the size of a mail slot with a woman sitting far to the left with a mask on. Patients have to bend down to hear and speak through the mail slot opening. 2) The processing of patients is painfully slow. We got here at 10:00 am and there are still almost the same number of patients waiting for well over three hours 3) One can barely hear the soft spoken aids calling names through their masks. So a PA system would be great. 4) There is no sense of where anyone is in the que. The broken TV screen would be a nice way to show where people are and estimated wait time. 5) No info on who is working the day you get there and their credentials. 6) The single lobby bathroom is clean but you would think that in a medical facility you would have an auto flush toilet instead of one with a handle you have to press and a sink without handles that senses the presence of your hands just like the soap dispenser that's there. With COVID, FLU and RSV, I would think this is a no brainer. Finally, if you enjoy staring at nice carpeting and sitting in a bright sun filled room for hours, this is the place for you. Clearly NOT up to Mass General Brigham's reputation and more likely to tarnish it. read more

Wait times over two and a half hours. Nothing ti say except what the fuck--it's called URGENT care for a reason

Absolutely horrific customer service skills. Labs take extended periods of time to come back and doctors have no answer as to why.

I went there for eye problems and the doctor didn't even look in my eyes. After waiting an hour the exam was less than 3 minutes.

Took my daughter early Saturday. Long line to check-in. There is zero privacy during check-in, you clearly knew what people were therefore. They checked two people in at a time with not enough space to social distance. One staff member not masked and another non-masked staff member in the back. Unlike the NWH ambulatory areas or hospital, they were not replacing masks with proper medical masks. One of my big issues was there were multiple patients in the space with COVID symptoms. They really need a separate area for these folks or they shouldn't be doing COVID testing there. The waiting area isn't big enough and quite frankly I had personal discomfort while we waited. Diagnoses was overturned by NWH ER next day. Basically they said everything done was wrong. This is an extremely difficult place to be when you're sick. The front desk person was not at all empathetic and spoke to people as if somebody is beating them up for this job. They tell you many patients are in queue but not how long will it take. The wait time could be minimum 30 minutes to over 2 hours. When asked for the reason, the supervisor who spoke to update was very unprofessional and spoke arrogantly about what could be taking so long and additionally mentioned behind the back that patients were unbelievable to ask questions. Even when you get in, Nurse practitioner can take another half an hour or more after the vitals have been taken. Would definitely not recommend for urgent care. read more

do not go there - horrible staff all around and they act as if they are at a frat party. i went to day at 12:00 dec 16, 2022 and was treated like garbage. the black woman nurse made faces and laughed with the other moronic staff over my illness. i plan to see legal counsel since they pushed me out and told me to go to the another emergency center after they said that i could be seen after 4 people are seen. terrible, nop masks policy and the staff is truly garbage no professionalism at all. be careful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

not going to sugar coat it so here's what you will get if you decide to come here. I may have a broken toe, and I called to see if I could get in at the Newton location at 08:00pm and the call center said they were booked solid But the Natick location literally had only one patient, and no one waiting so I didn't need to make an appointment. got here at 8:20pm(forty minutes before closing). They said they were at capacity. I explained that I spoke with call center which is when the woman I spoke with named Briana(sp?) said they had just gotten five patients and they were waiting. I said there was no way five people JUST walked in. She said I could come in and speak with the PA(didn't get his name). Not only was no one waiting inside(so she flat out lied) but the PA came out and said "we are at capcity). They are clearly the only people in this place(it was very quiet and it appeared as if no one is in the back either) Update: it is now 8:45, 30 mins later, and not a single patient has exited. So they both flat out lied because they didn't want to see someone a full 40 minutes before closing. Just take that at face value. Yes I'm upset, but there isn't any hyperbole to the review. When I presented with symptoms of dehydration and told the receptionist that I might need saline IV and bloodwork, the response should have been- we don't do that here. Instead she took my copay, had me go back, and I was only told after my insurance was billed that they don't have blood work labs and IV hydration. This is not a full-service urgent care like so many others in the area (and other Partners' branded urgent care centers). read more

stupidity stupidity I witnessed in that clinic SI walked in took me two hours to see someone during that time gentleman came in with Covid symptoms and they sent him away because the test was not gonna be ready in time for him to take his flight on Wednesday morning God for bid they should've given him a place where he could get a 24 hour rapid test since he's going on a plane was trying to do the socially responsible thing what I want in a woman came in and said she'll be taking care of me she went over my medication list she did not get one medication right she couldn't pronounce them she couldn't spell them I feel like those on Saturday night live so after failing miserably at her medication list adding some I'm not on and not even telling me what the important ones were she left the doctor came in basically said she could help me I might have this and I might have this and that's all she could do for me and she'll be happy to call my doctor but she doesn't have him on her computer so she's not gonna be able to call him. Overall just when I thought people could not get any stupider yeah they were a bunch of people who have no idea how to do anything right so after sitting around for three hours with several Covid infected patients I left no better than when I came in, thanks for listening, by the way this is the first review I've ever done how do you say people need to know what they're getting into I could go on and on for another 20 read more
