This facility is clean, the staff are really friendly and courteous, and the physician was great! They have TV in all the exam rooms, so that makes the inevitable wait less boring. There's WiFi too. And they have free snacks and beverages. I had to wait in the lobby for about 15 minutes, but that was fine. I've waited for longer periods of time in other doctor's offices. The person at the front desk apologized profusely for the delay - nice touch. The doctor that saw me was very nice, attentive, and explained everything to me patiently. The support staff were great as well. I spent about an hour and a half there, but it was pleasant. I'm glad to know of this urgent care center. Only tip - try to get an appointment over the phone. I called first, they said they were accepting walk-ins, so I went there. Then I was told that I had to call and make an appointment as they were not taking walk-ins just then. That was a bit frustrating. Make sure you clear that up before you go there. Otherwise, great place! read more

The lady at the front desk who checked me in was very nice. They have free coffee and tea in the waoting room. I was seen in around 20min as opposed to the 3+ hours that you usually have to wait at an ER. The rooms are very clean and there is a couch in each room along with snacks. I saw the doctor almost immediately. She listened attentively and prescribed me a medication and gave me the name of a good specialist. I was in and out in around an hour. I went into Partners in a lot of pain feeling extremely worried. Everybody greeted me in such a kind way, they offered drinks and snacks anything to help. I was seen in a very short amount of time (virtually no wait) and my medical issues were solved-- or on their way to being solved, and every medical professional I encountered there were nothing but helpful. This place is amazing!! I got there exactly at 9am, having a pretty bad eccema reaction under my eyes, and was the second to be seen. The receptionist was so so nice and sweet. My insurance was taken (this is huge since I have Florida Blue) and was seen in less than 30 minutes. The doctor was really nice and sympathetic, she was really reassuring that everything I was doing was helping and that I had great instincts. Although I was told I was doing everything right, she still took a deeper look to make sure it was what she thought. They really were a quick fix for what I needed and would definitely go back if I ever needed to. Side note - there's a tv with cable in every exam room, which is not medically necessary (obviously) but nice since I was able to watch That 70s Show as I waited to be seen haha read more

This refers to the Brookline clinic- To say that this place is the worse is the understatement of the year!!! Iv'e been to the clinic almost 5 months ago and had to get a refund because of THEIR mistake, but still no refund, 5 months later!! I wrote them 4 emails and called 5 times!! Currently waiting on the line for the 6th time. 2 months ago I talked to their representitive that assured me that I'll get the refund and someone will call me back. No one called me back, and since then I called 3 more times! No one has answered my emails or calls. I'm on the phone for 13 minutes at the moment and still no answer. I left them 3 voice mails and no one got back to me. All of that after they made a mistake!! Now it's minute 15 and still no answer... Apparently I need to go to a lawyer and then I get my refund. I would make this half a star or no stars if I could. The Brookline location is terrible. I took my daughter for flu symptoms. When the dr came in, she greeted my daughter with my name. Then said she needed to go fix it. They then said they had no flu swab tests left. But prescribed tamiflu just in case. She then did a throat culture which came back negative. I called today to find out result from being sent out and found out they don't send them out! They were more concerned about offering us snacks and drinks. Every tech that came in along with the woman at the desk offered us food As well as being sure we knew how to change the TV channel. Ridiculous waste of healthcare money. read more

I have been to this urgent care three times - I would not waste my time going there again. They are not doing anything but telling people to go to the ER or do a tele health conference. It is pretty hard to do any diagnostic tests on a tele health conference. If you need medical attention, just go right to the ER. read more

Honestly, after she gave me the shot she had to tell me it was over, since I never felt it. Bad news: They don't take insurance for flu shots, you have to pay up front and then you get a hassle from your insurance company about getting reimbursed. Had to come to come to bring our babysitter for acute back pain. The receptionist overall was just plain rude and not helpful. Told me right away they did not take her insurance. I assured him her insurance was indeed in network. After me calling his customer care, which he could have done, we were confirmed. Just writing this review upsets me even more! I took my 7 year old son to this urgent care on a holiday, New Year's Day, in the evening. It was a great alternative to our usual pediatrician's urgent care office which was closed. Everyone there was super nice and friendly! Jade, at the front desk, got us checked in and into the exam room as quickly as she could, offering us snacks and drinks. The medical assistant who helped us was warm and welcoming, and offered more snacks and reassurance that she'd get the doctor in to see us as soon as possible. We waited about 15 minutes in the lobby, 10 in the exam room. Dr. Kilbourn had great bedside manner and made a connection with my son who was wearing a BU sweatshirt (she went to BU Med). I didn't feel like she was rushing us even though I knew there were many other patients waiting to be seen. She also provided good care and advice about a possibly infected finger (she was right, it was just allergic dermatitis). They offered a small toy for my son to take home and even let him take an extra home to his sister. The lobby and exam rooms were clean and comfortable with TVs and couches that helped make the wait time go faster. We thought we might be there for 2 hours but we were done in about an hour, start to finish. I would definitely recommend this urgent care facility!! read more

As other reviewers said, amazing atmosphere. You feel like you're in a spa and the only person in the world that matters. Too bad you're dying and can't enjoy it in the moment. They have snacks and drinks in the waiting room which is great for my mom, because obviously I brought her, I'm only 26! Kinda weird though that they have snacks on the inside too. They're really all about keeping you not hangry. The check in process is quick but imagine all the dirty hands that touched that iPad?!?! Do they sanitize between each customer???? The receptionist was so nice. As for the doctor, she saw me for like 12 seconds, touched me for one and sent me to the ER. Uhm ok. If it's such an emergency I get to the er now, maybe offer to call an ambulance? She didn't know I was being chauffeured around by mom. What if my appendix was about to burst? Was I just supposed to tell it to wait until I was off the t? I just feel like it's a liability to tell me I might have appendicitis and then just tell me to go to the er and give me no paperwork. What if I just didn't go? I feel like it would be on them for not informing me well. Oh and also the doctor smelled like cigarette. Great example of a health care worker. read more

Best healthcare experience I've had. The medical care I received was very good, but the true differentiation is with the staff and facility. Facility is very clean, exam rooms each have a sofa and TV, and free snacks are offered throughout the visit. I was greeted with a pleasant 'good morning' by 4 staff members on the way in, each of whom I felt genuinely cared about my well-being. I'm sorry to say but the doctor here is clueless - his name is Jorg Winterer. Stay away from this clinic because it's simply a money drain. I came in one night after calling the clinic several times to see if they would treat what I thought at the time was dengue fever. No one picked up on multiple attempts made over a 1-hour period. Being sick and a half-mile walk away, I braved the rainstorm anyway because I needed help. Yes, the receptionist was there and somehow my phone calls earlier were not picked up. I found that strange. Upon seeing the doctor, I let him know that I thought I had contracted dengue fever while in Asia. He told me straight away that he doesn't treat dengue, and he doesn't really even know what it is. He not once bothered to ask in more detail about my symptoms, maybe to see if I in fact did not have dengue but was sick with another illness. He simply said "sorry" and went to the next patient. Weeks later, blood tests showed that I had a viral infection, not dengue. This doctor didn't care, he just took me for my word and the easy way out. Frustrating that I walked over a half-mile in the rain with a fever because no one bothered to pick up the phone at the clinic. To add insult to injury, they still made me pay a copay for what was literally a 5-minute visit by the doctor and sent me home with nothing. I'd avoid this clinic at all costs. read more

It's weird to give an urgent care experience a glowing review, because you're usually not so hot if you end up there. I stopped by on a weekend evening, which I figured would be prime hours. There were 5 people ahead of me, but I was taken to a room right away to wait for the doctor. The nurse taking my vitals was kind, and the doctor was very helpful. The rooms each have tv with several cable channels as well as wifi access. This made the wait go by very fast. They also offered snacks and water, which Ive never seen before. If you have an urgent medical need, I recommend this place! I never hope to visit an urgent care center, but if I need to Partners will be my first choice. read more

The staff is courteous and welcoming and the wait wasn't as long as they told me it would be. The office is very clean and feels more like a private practice than an urgent care office. The whole visit did take about 90 mins, which isn't bad considering how long a trip to the doctor's office could take. The doctor explained everything, and had clearly read my file before coming into the room so I didn't feel like I needed to repeat everything that had already been asked. This urgent care is the best I have ever been to. The woman at the front desk, Jade, is so friendly and helps put patients at ease during their visit. She is helpful, very understanding and patient and seems like a people person. There is a free parking garage around the corner. There are snacks and beverages for patients and the facility is very modern (with iPads for checking in and out) and comfortable. It was a very quick, yet thorough visit and great customer service. My only hope was that I wish the Doctor That attended me would have taken an X-ray to rule out my concern regarding my injury, I do understand that they are busy and perhaps the doctor genuinely was not concerned that it was bone, however as a tip I would suggest just running the exam as the patient is the one feeling the pain and knows their body better than anyone else, so just help ease the concern by running the test. Besides that, I was very satisfied with my experience here. I have never been treated with such great care. I was not forgotten, I was noticed and treated like a real person/ human being (believe me, I've gone to other urgent cares and have been treated like my pain or concerns were not legitimate and have been neglected proper care which resulted in a more severe diagnosis). The nurses were so nice and gentle with great bedside manner,with genuine concern on hearing my concerns and questions (my past experience with some nurses and doctors in urgent care are that they are very short and dismissive and I felt like cattle just being moved in and out of a room). I was so amazed at the quality and level of service. I mean everything seemed personalized including the envelope with my prescription and printout on how to address the injury they even signed it "thank you and feel better" with my name on it. I've been to this urgent care facility twice now. The first time I was a walk in and arrived around 7pm on a Tuesday. It was fairly busy so I had to wait 90 min to be seen, which wasn't fun since I was in a lot of pain. However when I was seen the staff were friendly and professional and I felt well taken care of. The snacks are a nice touch and the facility is very nice. By the time I left I'd been there 2 hours and barely made it to the Walgreens down the street to get my prescription before it closed. On the second occasion today I was pleased to see they had appointments now so I made one for 5pm. When I arrived the waiting room was packed and I thought "good thing I made an appointment!". At check in I was told that there were people with 2pm and 2:30pm appointments still waiting to be seen. I couldn't wait 3 hours or more so I decided to tough it out for a night and try a different place tomorrow. I'm not sure what the point of the appointment system is if the wait is still going to be that bad. They'd rate much more highly if they can get their wait times figured out. read more

We recently went to the Partner's Urgent Care in Woburn. Although we made an "appointment" on line- we still waited an hour and twenty minutes. I asked them what difference having an appointment made and they told me none, that I was still subject to the same wait as if I walked in. I wish they had told us this. The care was excellent I wouldn't bother with a reservation but call and find out the wait time and go when the wait time is lower. Gave Partners they should remove the option to reserve a time as this is very misleading. read more

This is the fastest, best care I've received at an urgent care facility. The woman attending the front desk, Jade, was incredibly kind and courteous despite how busy it was. Dr. Albinson was thorough but speedy, which was great because I was in a hurry! She answered all my questions and had my prescriptions over to my pharmacy within minutes. My kids and I had wonderful service at this site when we came in to get flu shots. Our pediatrician practice is great but it was hard to coordinate schedule to bring two busy kids to get flu shots. Walgreens and CVS will not give flu shots to anyone under 18. So we did it this way and it worked out for our family. Living in Brookline, it is incredibly challenging to take the kids to an ER or to the pediatrician in off hours or at the very last minute ...so this is an excellent place to use for immediate attention. read more

Unfortunately I did not have a good experience at this Urgent Care center. I went in for a potential strep throat with a very high fever. Prior to arriving I called my insurance to make sure I would be covered with no co-pay. They told me I should be all set, but to check upon arrival to make sure the doctor didn't charge independently. The front desk could not answer this question prior to seeing the doctor. After 3 unsuccessful attempts to swab me for a strep test, the Nurse admitted this was his first time and he had only been working there for 2 weeks. Once he finally got a sample, the Doctor came in and told me he wanted a full lab test because although the minute strep test was negative, he doesn't ever trust them. I asked the Nurse if I would be charged for the lab tests, he said no and so I let him continue. The Doctor also prescribed me high strength ibuprofen and antibiotics and called it into my pharmacy - but did not tell me. At the end of the visit, the Nurse brought my bill into the exam room. He wouldn't let me leave the room until I gave him a credit card to pay for the $100 bill for the visit. I asked for details and to talk to the front desk about why I was being charged, but since he wouldn't let me leave, he tried to relay information to me unsuccessfully. I felt terrible/sick so I just paid and left. In the end I had to pay not only for the visit ($100) but also was billed weeks later for the lab strep test I was told would be covered, which of course, came back negative. read more

Forget about ED, this place is EXCELLENT!!! They only accept walk-ins so far, which is great b/c I hate waiting days and weeks for an appointment. I visited this place on a Monday morning and barely waited. The entire stay was ~1 hour. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Their care and environment were so much better than ED and they charge very reasonably. Strongly recommend this place if you have non-life-threatening conditions but need care asap. read more

I have two parts to this review so I'll start off with my experience at the facility: 1. Amazing! The staff is very friendly and the place is clean and very welcoming. They also have snacks which is always a nice plus. The doctor was very knowledgable and although I did wait about an hour both times that I was there, I didn't mind as much as I was occupied by the snacks and TV. 2. Billing. This is where I was completely unsatisfied. At both of my visits I was charged a $50 copay saying that they could not verify what exactly my copay was with my insurance (odd, but okay)-- I was assured that I would receive my refund in the mail. Note that my copay is normally $25 for an UC visit. Now this was after a visit in mid September and a visit in early October. In about mid October I called to follow up on the status on my $50 total refund and was told it takes a few weeks. Ok. End of November comes around and I call again to hear that my refund was processed on Nov 17th and I should get it within 2-3 weeks. Ok. A month passes with no refund. Called again, "oh it takes 4-6 weeks, they misinformed you". Wow, OK. 6+ weeks later now in January, having hounded this place and calling their billing dept several times, I am told that they had the wrong address on file and that it was sent to the wrong place. Why wasn't this confirmed from the beginning?! Now I am told "we will call you back". Sure. Never got a call back. I called them AGAIN the next day only to speak to someone who could not even find the date that the check was "sent out". People, really?! Now the story goes "it was sent out to the wrong address at first but it was sent out again and you should receive it by Friday (tomorrow) or early next week the latest.....I don't know what kind of billing establishment you have going here but it is FLAWED. There are WAY too many inconsistencies and the address issue should have been avoided from the moment you all realized that a refund was in order. How is that not standard protocol?! In essence, I would have to say that unless I am guaranteed to pay my $25 copay upon arrival, I will probably not return here as getting my next refund may have me waiting until 2017. Sorry, that is just unacceptable. It's a shame because the facility itself is great and convenient, minus the fact that you need to make an appointment to avoid waiting 1+ hours. I find that odd as I used to work in UC and there were no such things as appointments..hence the idea of urgent [unexpected] care. Also, they should really consider adding physicians. One physician for the entire office is simply not feasible if you're looking to keep the wait time down. The WORST customer service EVER. The lady at the front desk by the name of Natasha Andrews refused to run my insurance information unless I have my card with me. I went to go get my card and came back and they STILL REFUSED to see me. I asked for the manager she said she was the manager only for 5 minuets to pass another lady came out I asked of she was the manager she said yes, natasha excuse was well I'm a lead supervisor here.... So SHE LIED to avoid me speaking with the manager. I honestly feel like they refused to see me due to my race. I am black and everyone else in there was able to be seen no problems. The WORSTTTT!!!!! By far the best Urgent Care I've ever been to, and I've lived in many different states. I went around lunch time and I was in and out in about 40 minutes. All of the staff were kind and attentive. I was visiting my daughter, who is going to college in Boston. On our way back from a weekend trip to the Cape on a Sunday afternoon, we were in a MVA, rear-ended hard, on the freeway. My daughter began having clear symptoms of a concussion, so I took her to this Urgent Care. The facility was clean and nice. The nurse was kind and nice. But, the doctor was extremely rude, uncompassionate, mean, and dismissive. Also was wearing tight jeans and no ID tag and no white coat. Completely unprofessional. The first words out of her mouth when I told her my concern that my daughter had a concussion were, "I am a Family doctor and do geriatrics. I am not a Neurologist. I cannot tell you if she had a concussion". The doctor made my daughter feel worse because she acted as if my daughter was making up her symptoms. I would never recommend this Urgent Care to anyone if this is the type of doctor they have on staff. read more

Took my 7 year old daughter in for pain in her ear at 6pm. Was messed around until 10pm by an assortment of receptionists, nurses and other staff until finally seeing a doctor for about 2 minutes after 10pm, after the nearest pharmacy was filled so unable to fill the prescription until tomorrow morning. When it came to getting paid, they surprisingly upped their game and processed that in a couple of minutes. Clearly, they care more about paperwork and getting paid than they do about actually treating patients. This place seems to have no systematic process at all.
