We picked a date/time and asked for (1) Flat Mount and (1) Swing Mount and they had the parts at a reasonable price. Constant communication up to arrival, which was great. Marcus arrived in a company vehicle with all his equipment and the two mounts. Marcus was awesome, he slipped on shoe covers before going upstairs. We showed him what we wanted and he went to work. I told him that if he needed help to mount the TVs once he placed the mounts on the wall to give me a shout. I went downstairs, and barely heard him working. He worked so quietly that my nervous pup didn't even bark or get anxious. Marcus worked fast, told me he was done, and he had the TVs mounted on the wall. The swing arm mount is perfectly placed and moves smoothly. It is just what I envisioned and hoped for and no mess. Marcus gave us the different payment options, price was as quoted with no changes. Marcus told us to call if any issues. I highly recommend Marcus & TV Geeks !!!

My condo came with a high-end home sound system that was top-of-the-line... about 20 years ago , which created some challenges in figuring out how to make older equipment work with modern TVs and technology. Rather than simply telling me to replace everything, he took the time to understand the existing system and came up with creative solutions. What I especially appreciated was that he gave me a two-tier approach: an affordable, practical solution that got everything working beautifully now, while also explaining what I could do in the future if I want to fully restore and maximize the potential of the original home theater system. There was absolutely no pressure to spend more than I wanted to. He got everything installed, mounted, connected, and working on a very tight timeline. Knowledgeable, honest, creative, and genuinely focused on finding the right solution for the customer. Highly recommend!

He was very nice and worked very quickly and efficiently but he needed my help to lift our 77" TV. I do not blame him at all for asking for my help, but I am terribly disappointed he was sent by himself. I politely expressed my disappointment in the price I paid with his company expecting me to help him. He was very apologetic and threw in a cable concealing package which was incredibly thoughtful. I'm writing this review because I was not supposed to be home when the mounting was scheduled. My disabled spouse was going to be the only person here. Had I not been sent home from work early the technician wouldn't have been able to do the service at all! I'm not sure if it was a choice to send one technician from the start or someone didn't show up for work, either way, this should have been rescheduled so the service could be completed as it was paid for. In summary, the mount was adequately done and the technicIan was incredibly professional- his company was not. This review would have been 1 star if it were not for his character.

The handyman Ali Kharamesh was scheduled to arrive at 8:00 a.m., but on the day of the appointment I received a text saying his car broke down and asking if he could arrive between 12-1 p.m. He eventually showed up with an additional handyman, which I never agreed to. All three closets were built incorrectly in the exact same way and did not match the reference image or instructions. When I pointed this out, I was told it must be a manufacturer defect. He throw away pieces of the installation without consent. The closet manufacture confirmed it was incorrectly installed. There were incorrect drilling and the back board was all incorrect. I contacted FixTman customer service and was told to call the manufacturer and that FixTman would pay for replacement parts. However, the store's only option was a full return, which I accepted. FixTman sent another handyman Chris the next day who looked at the previous person's job and told Nihal he could not fix it because some of the primary tools that came with the closet were missing. After that, FixTman - Seattle attempted to charge me extra for the additional handyman I never approved. I was initially promised a full refund, but later received a call offering only a 10% refund instead from Nihal. This company does not stand by its word and does not take responsibility for poor workmanship. I am still trying to obtain the full refund that was promised, and they are unwilling to honor it. Avoid this vendor at all costs. The company proceeded to deny my refund and I filed with Thumbtack who saw the incident gave me $284 fully back.

They were flexible with me possibly having to re-schedule my appointment at the last minute if the cable equipment had not arrived on time. The installation team arrived at the time promised. They were polite, clean and professional. They used shoe covers, which I appreciated. I bought my own bracket and they were very familiar with it. They even uncrated my 85" TV from my move, which required them unscrewing wooden boards -- much more work than simply opening a cardboard box. Then they measured precisely, putting guide tape on the wall that they removed without leaving any marks. They also cut a hole on the wall behind the TV to run the power cord behind the wall to the outlet near the floor. The work was professionally done and looked great. They ran all the cables along the bracket, which was important because the bracket and wall would be visible when I pulled the TV out and swiveled it to seen from the kitchen, dining room or the living room. The whole process took under an hour and they didn't seem to cut any corners. The estimate was not the least expensive I received, but I felt the thoughtful questions they asked before I even accepted their quote, indicated the attention to detail that I wanted -- and I was right. I can't say if all their teams work this well, but the one that came to my house was exceptional.

I had started the job myself but got an anchor screw stuck and figured I should have a pro step in so I didn't wreck my new walls. All the supplies were here, placed where they needed to be, holes were measured and marked for custom made rods and drapes. He charges by the hour and moves very, very slow. He didn't have his own step ladder or anchor screws. In the first hour, he managed to put in 3 screws in holes that had already been marked. He claimed he "needed to remeasure" and that's why it took so long, but he used the holes that I had already marked. He also said it was too hard to do with custom cut rods. He also said it wasn't his fault because I had an anchor screw stuck in the wall already, which was the whole reason I hired him. This is what pros do: they come prepared, know the required materials and techniques, and advise the customer on the best way to proceed. I knew we needed to cut it off when he asked me how to use an anchor screw. He didn't know if you needed to pre-drill or not for a very basic and common anchor. I cannot imagine a professional handyman not knowing that. He used a level to stare at the pre-marked holes for what seemed like an eternity, just eating up time. 3 screws = $200. Seems like a nice enough man, but handyman may not be the profession for him, and that's giving him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't just trying to take advantage of someone he assumed was too naive too know how long the job should take. He became very defensive, making excuses when I said we'd need to end the job at one hour. Im sure judging by other less than 5 star reviews here (that I really wish I'd have taken the time to read) he will post a very defensive response here as well. Please just don't take a job you don't have the required expertise to complete, and I don't want to hear defensive excuses when I'm still out $200 for almost no work completed.

What really set them apart from the other four companies I got quotes from was their attention to detail -- they not only ran all the cabling cleanly, but also repaired and painted the drywall afterward, leaving everything spotless. My home posed some challenges since there's no traditional attic access, but they found a smart solution by cutting a discreet access point and installing a clean, removable panel that looks like part of the original design. They even went above and beyond by installing a drop-down TV mount in my living room since my fireplace mantel sits too high for comfortable viewing. The entire experience exceeded expectations, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire Trebor Tech again or recommend them to anyone looking for quality network or low-voltage work.
