There are little details everywhere you look and it feels fun, warm and intentionally designed without trying too hard. It is such a great space for a gathering. The food was delicious. I tried the weekly deviled eggs, a selection of charcuterie and cheeses, and the whipped feta dip with fresh cut veggies. Everything was fresh, flavorful and perfect for grazing during a cocktail-style event. The winter cranberry spritz was basically all of my favorite flavors in one glass. So so good. Their cocktail and mocktail menu really shines and I cannot wait to go back and try more. As someone with food intolerances, I asked plenty of questions and everyone was friendly, patient and helpful with both menu guidance and cocktail suggestions. That always makes such a difference. There was even parking, which is a huge bonus. This is the perfect spot for a winter cocktail party or a fun night out. I will definitely be gathering my girls and heading back soon.

It is absolutely stunning inside with nice art, neon signs, beautiful lighting and more! 10/10 for looks! And if you don't think you can judge a book by its cover, I'm judgment free! I can tell you though that the service is just as excellent. Everyone on staff is super attentive and helpful! The food was really good. There were specific items out for the event and everything I had was delicious. I would love to get to order off a menu next time though! I had a mocktail and it was flavorful and really good! I would def love to come back again once it warms up!

The Greenwich Club, on Post Road in East Greenwich is actually a private summertime swim club open…read moreto anyone from anywhere, as long as they pay the dues. There are three swimming pools there - a baby pool, a kids pool, and an Olympic-sized pool for adults and kids who can swim. We joined this year as an alternative to very expensive beach parking and entrance passes, and its proximity to home. This Club is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by tall trees and surrounding a Club House - which is actually a large, very old, East Greenwich Victorian (I think) home in perfect, meticulous, up to date condition. The pool area is also immaculate, and the club also provides a play area for little kids; volleyball for bigger kids, picnic tables and huge grills which are lit in late afternoon for the member families to cook dinner there. I am actually reviewing this club not for its swim and play activities, but for the dinner specials that are offered to members and guest of the members on Thursday and Friday nights. Dining can be done al fresco on the terrific deck which normally receives lovely early evening breezes, or inside the "clubhouse" where there are tables and a very nice, full bar. The kitchen, where the dinners are cooked by chefs who are recent graduates of Johnson & Wales Culinary School, is just off this room and it is also the cooking area for the snack bar, which offers quite an extensive and amazing array of snacks and meals. We decided to have dinner at The Greenwich Club this beautiful warm and breezy evening on the deck, as the weather was beyond gorgeous. Arriving at 6:30, the deck was not crowded (although we were told it is packed on Friday nights, and reservations are definitely necessary). The menu this evening offered a variety of appetizers, salads, four main courses (each priced at $16.00) as well as fish and chips, burgers and hot dogs. The four specials this evening were rack of lamb, blackened ahi tuna, an eggplant concoction which I did not study because I don't eat eggplant - and veal scallopinil. We both ordered the rack of lamb. We were literally blown away by the deliciousness of the cooked-to-order baby chops, eight of them (for $16.00, which also blew us away,) accompanied by a lovely rice dish and brussel sprouts. We literally could not believe the value of this meal, nor the excellent quality of it, There is not one restaurant in East Greenwich - or possibly anywhere - that could have served this meal at that price. Everything was fabulous and we had to take some home because it was just too much food, since we each started the meal with the bruschetta appetizer and a garden salad. We each had a drink (no dessert) and the bill, with tax, came to less than $56.00 before the tip. I'm not sure how this place can serve such excellent meals at such a low price, unless it is because their full bar is serving drinks all day long and those have to be marked up quite a bit. Bottom line - The wait team is friendly and efficient as well. We will definitely be back for the al fresco dining at the Greenwich Club, as well as for the swimming in the beautiful pool and the immaculate decks.

I need to address an issue we had with the bartender and attendant at a party we recently held at…read moreyour facility. There was a bartender named Hannah and an attendant named Lauren. I think it was very unprofessional for the bartender to not be wearing a uniform and to be only dressed in a long sleep shirt that was tied behind her back and black leggings. As well as the attendant or should I say useless attendant who stood behind the bar the entire length of the party not helping or asking if we need anything. I understood that if we rented the club an attendant would be of ASSISTANCE with food, trash and anything else we may need. Instead the attendant stood behind the bar and did not help with anything but trash when it was heaping! Nor did the attendant help with a single thing setting up for the party, as we struggled to be ready for the 6pm party cause we could only get in an hour early. Lauren sat down ate food and drank her drink while we all ran around trying to get the place ready. The attendant was supposed to be helpful with food and replace dishes as we spoke about but she did not touch one single food tray or piece of utensil. Let me clarify and say she was not told to serve any food just refill as needed and pick up trash. I spent the entire length of the party walking around picking up trash, refilling food, not getting served at the bar cause there was too long of a wait for the girls to be texting, fixing the coat room because it was chalk full of CRAP, and trying to find our things in the kitchen where there was ZERO room to move because that was also chalk full of CRAP. From what I understand we were allowed to use the kitchen but there was so much junk everywhere, on the floor, on the counters, everywhere, not including the bartenders and attendants stuff in the middle of the FLOOR in the kitchen and then having them tell us to put our things in the coat room closet which there was no room for anything because of all the junk. The one time I asked Lauren for help with some ice she put ice in a disgusting bucket and expected people to get ice for their soda out of a home depot bucket, I told her we needed something else and all she brought was a nasty blue cooler with no lid. The bartender was texting the whole time and leaning up against the bar in an uncomfortable manor. She was polite towards the men and rude to women, if a guy asked for a drink she would go to him immediately and not ask him to pay or even if he had a tab going, she would just hand him the beer. But if a woman went up to the bar she would until the bartender was done texting and then when it was convenient for her she would come over and serve you an extremely strong drink if it was mixed. And then make sure you paid immediately and give you a dirty look. I am also curious to know what she was drinking behind the bar, there was several vodka soda's with lime that she seem to be enjoying too much. I found it unprofessional for the girls to be on their phones. But most of all I found it absolutely inappropriate for Hannah to get a guys number at the party and then text him while he is at the party. Any person working an event should 1. not be on the cell phone constantly and 2. NEVER ask someone for their phone number and begin texting them, especially if there girlfriend is there watching and not getting served at the bar of course. These issues seriously need to be addressed. We will never be back there for an event and would never again suggest this venue to anyone. I feel that neither one of those girls deserved to be paid for that party because we did everything but the bar ourselves. And I mean everything, Lauren was absolutely useless, standing behind the bar is not where an attendant belongs. An attendant belongs on the floor, near the food and drink tables clearing dishes, drinks and any other garbage items. Lauren ONLY took out the trash.

There is a bar when you walk all the way in and couches and some tables. The cocktail menu and the food menu has some interesting choices. I had the chipotle shrimp and fried avocado taco. The chipotle shrimp taco had dry rubbed and air-fried collossal shrimp, pico, cabbage, chipotle aioli, and salsa verde. The fried avocado taco, 1st time having this type of taco, had beer battered avocado wedges with crumbled cotija, pico, cabbage, cilantro, and salsa verde. The tacos had good taste. It took a little while to come out, but it was good. I had the white sangria which tasted really good. My husband had the transfusion which is Tito's vodka, grape juice, ginger ale, and it comes in a bag. I thought that was a cool concept for an adult beverage. There is a free municipal parking lot around the corner and up the hill. The bar tender and the owner were friendly.

I spoke to the gentlemen named Bill I think he is the owner. He was so kind and he made me want to go there and check it out. We went on a Sunday so I know it would be calm and relaxed. It's in a very nice area, and we find parking on the street straight away. Walking in this place is so cute, I love the music, the interior designs, the tvs and the designs In general it felt cozy, so many tables and so much space. The bar looked very well put together and I saw lots of options. They have drinks that I think Bill made up of his own which I appreciated and they had a nice appetizer menu. Bill served us and answered any questions we had and he remembered me from the phone. I know I will be coming here regularly. My drink was called "transfusion" and came in like an Iv looking pouch I thought it was comical and it was very good. My best friend got the wings and LOVED THEM. I just loved it there, it was my first time but the first time left a great impression on me. The prices are great and yet again Bill is great he was sure to thank us for going there and come again. I will be back!
