Mashed Burgers 515 Washington St. Hoboken, NJ 07030 Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake At another location, I previously tried cereal mixed with ice cream and wasn't satisfied. This restaurant reversed my viewpoint in a heartbeat. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch and caramel blended well with the ice cream and I especially enjoyed slurping the crushed cereal pieces. The toppings atop the dessert drink were not too overbearing. As a bonus, there are also complimentary classic arcade games to play while you are waiting.

Stopped here for a quick smash burger lunch after a workout. The place was cute inside and inviting. There were so many fries for one little person, I'm not complaining but it definitely would be a good idea to share them. The burger was good, I liked the sauce. The tres leches was fine, good flavor but I like mine a bit more wet. I'd definitely come back and try more items on the menu. Very interested in trying the chicken sandwich or tenders next.

Service was a bit slow for a Thursday night but the place was packed so it's understandable. The food still good and the flavors are consistent every visit. This time I tried the lotus shake and it was surprisingly good perfect balance of sweetness not overly sweet like I expected. A lot of high school/college students and food delivery drivers at the restaurant so I would recommend ordering ahead or ordering take out since it's too packed to even find a clean table. The staff is friendly and always look like they are working to get things done in a timely manner.

A very solid burger place in Hoboken! I got the mash burger with the impossible patty, 1/2 fries and 1/2 onion rings and an Oreo churro without cinnamon. The burger was so tasty, the onion rings crunchy without being soggy and the fries very good as well. I'm not a big fan of churros but I have to admit this one was really good. The service was quick and friendly.

Amazing burgers and fries! 1) My favorite was the triple spicy burger. If you can handle a little heat, this is by far the best burger. 2) I also got their Oklahoma-style triple burger, it was amazing. But, the spicy burger was better. 3) Their mashed Cajun fries was amazing. It is a must get if you can handle a little heat. 4) They serve halal meat for those who follow that diet.

Should've listened to my gut and saved my tastebuds to go to 7th st burger instead. The burgers here cannot compare to the delicious sliders over at 7th st. It was very upsetting especially because the burgers here look like they would have so much flavor, but the entire burger was such a disappointment. The burger lacked flavor, was very dry...and my partner also found a hard piece of bone! Service was ok, and the ambiance is vibrant.

Very good! A lot of recent competition in town with smash burgers and we felt this spot was solid, with a few different options on their menu vs. the others. The vibe inside is nice and staff was helpful. You order on a kiosk which makes it easy but less customized! (I prefer no salt on fries but there was no comment section that we saw to add that note in) We tried Hot chicken sandwich, onion smashed burger, cheese fries and a cinnamon toast milkshake. The chicken was a bit too spicy for me so next time I'd get sauce on side and ask for mild. Burger and fries were solid and we liked the shake too. Total was about $45 and that's with an added tip. Would go back!

Sooo I saw this place on DoorDash & came to Yelp to check the reviews before ordering, and just found this blank "unclaimed" page! Maybe it's a new location? I saw a page for a different Mashed Burgers location in I think Cliffside & I did order based off the good reviews there. Ended up being a good decision. Guess I'll be the first reviewing here! Burger: Got the OKC Fried Onion Mash, which was good though maybe a bit too much stringy onion that was difficult to eat. Onion Rings were nice & crisp. Oreo Shake was pretty standard, dont know if it's worth $10, but can't really go wrong with it. The Lotus Churro was a bit hard but otherwise not bad---and the Lotus butter dip with it was very tasty! Prices are kind of high for what is essentially fast food--around $40.

This place is all over social media and finally got a chance to try it. Started with a dulce de leche shake. It was not overly sweet which is definitely a plus and a perfect consistency. I got the onion burger with jalapenos. The jalapeños definitely added flavor which I think the burger would lack with out it. The burgers were cooked well and gave you that typical smashed burger crispiness. The hot chicken was nothing special. The kickback sauce was your typical hot chicken special sauce but a little too sweet for me. The combination of the hot chicken fries and coleslaw was a great combination. Would definitely come back here.

Wait time was a little while for your food, but wow the taste makes up for it 10 fold! I'm also a really big fan of the decorative style of the restaurant too. Definitely a great spot to go, and only gave it 4 stars because of the 20 minute wait.

I won't leave a long review, but I'm gonna share a few thoughts from my frequent visits: The food is fantastic. I honestly prefer Marty's to its closest major chain comparison, Shake Shake. It's all so delicious and picture perfect every time; a feast for the belly and the eyes. Recently, a new competitor showed up in town (Smash and Zingers). I gave them a fair chance, ordering twice and trying different items, but I wasn't very impressed. My latest order with them sealed the deal that I will be going back to Marty's as my main local burger spot. My only gripe is that the fries can be a bit soggier than I like. Was hoping they'd fix that over time, but it's yet to be addressed.

I always loved a neighborhood bar (sports in this case) that also served food (and live entertainment, too!) so I could hang out with the local people. Would I have anything to crow about, or would I be as sly as a fox and just sneak on by!? PURCHASE Brunch Spicy Bloody Mary ($8.00): I wasn't a huge bloody mary fan (I was traumatized by V8 tomato juice growing up), but it just sounded good on this particular day. It was a fairly simple straightforward cocktail that lacked the elaborate bells and whistles that could be found on Instagram... and I was fine with that. The spiciness nicely cut some of the tomato juice taste which was a plus, the celery stalk was lip, I wished thee wee oe olives, the lemon wedge seemed to serve no purpose, and I felt there was too much ice. It was decent, but I think I filled my quota for the year. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&select=YAXNZzbwBxhsZXoH9n98SA [ONION RINGS/STRAWS/STRINGS ALERT - 3.0 of 5.0 STARS] Onion Rings ($7.00): A small basket with eight rings of various sizes, these were hot, darkly browned, crunchy, and had a tendency to crumble when bitten into while the onion ring (not sweet Maui) also broke apart. Great choice! I didn't get much of the jalapeño in the first bite, and could agree that the jalapeños and its accompanying sauce could be spread out a bit more, but i finally got a bite of the jalapeños towards the center and it was delicious. If so, that's too bad for a lot of reasons, one of those reasons being that I really liked what I ordered. A younger co-worker at my job in Hoboken orders take-out food a lot and never gains a pound (oh! how well I remember those long-ago days when I could pack away the food with similar impunity!). This co-worker turned us (namely, me and the rest of those who still remain from the old Lunchbox Mafia crowd at work) on to "Exotic Eats" in Union City, which I think has re-named itself "Better Eats" and has the best mac'n'cheese...with the notable exception of the mac'n'cheese made by my late mother...I've ever eaten. Conversely, this co-worker eats a lot of "fast food" burgers, chicken sandwiches, and burritos. On this particular occasion 2 weeks ago, he was preparing to order, and I asked what he was contemplating. He was contemplating 7th St. burgers, a chain I had never before heard of. Feeling hungry, I checked out the on-line menu. They seem to serve...basically...burgers, cheeseburger, double cheeseburgers, fries, loaded fries, "impossible" burgers, double "impossible" burgers, and soda. Given my never-ending quest to lose weight, I figured I'd give the double "impossible" burger a try. With fries, of course. My co-worker ordered the food for me to be delivered, then decided that he didn't want to order anything. So be it. When the food arrived, I dug in. I'm not necessarily sold on the success of the impossible burger in coming across as an actual beef-and-bun burger, but I have to say--- the 7th St. "impossible" burger was the closest to tasting like an actual cheeseburger that I've yet had (I had ordered it with "the works," so maybe the "works" helped). And the fries were solid and crisp, just like I like them. "Wow," I remarked to my co-worker, "this is really good!" My co-worker glanced down at the remnants of my meal that I had not yet devoured, back up at me, and shrugged. Whatever, old man! The only thing I'm a bit chagrined about is that now I'm getting constant ads for 7th St. on my FB feed, even though I'm pretty sure the food was not ordered under my name. I'm far from being an authority on how AI or bots work, but it is just a little bit disturbing. Sarah Connor, where are you when we need you? Can I expect Arnold Schwarzenegger to pull up outside the next time I order food? Or am I making a mountain out of a very minor molehill? Probably. That quibble aside, though, this was the best "impossible" burger I've had yet, and I'd certainly like to order from 7th St. again if they are in fact still open. I'm hoping this "notice of closure" is a mistake on Yelp's part, but time will tell, I guess. Recommended (if they are still open, that is).

Even 20-plus years ago, when I'd occasionally become nostalgic for a fast-food burger and order one, I invariably regretted it. But I did order from 30 Burgers a few days ago while working in Hoboken, when a co-worker (the new Godfather of Lunch) suggested ordering food and having it delivered. Usually, I would have said no. But I was suffering a migraine that particular day, the medication I take for it was having an adverse effect on me (as it sometimes will; it stops headache pain but makes me feel overall like shite) and I thought food might help settle my nausea and upset stomach. Even the erstwhile Godfather of Lunch joined us in ordering (like me, he's on a diet and it's proving effective), saying, "You people are forcing me to do this," or words to that effect. Nothing like peer pressure! I ordered the Turkey Royal Burger, which sounded simultaneously healthy and decadent. A turkey burger with a fried egg on it (it has been so long since I've indulged in eggs that I think that's what decided me on this), turkey bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. Along with it, I ordered a side of seasoned fries, and what initially started as a medium vanilla milkshake (I try to allow myself ice cream or an ice cream-based product only once a month). The former Godfather said, "You've come this far; you might as well go all the way." I wanted to reply, "You're forcing me to do this," as I agreed and signaled the new Godfather to place an order for the large vanilla milkshake, along with the other stuff I wanted. The food arrived pretty promptly, and the price seemed...at least to someone unused to ordering fast food...relatively reasonable. I can't remember what my co-workers ordered, but I was sorta "meh" about the whole experience. The burger was probably the best part of it. It was a large, sloppy mess, but that was satisfying to the latent glutton that I can never entirely exorcise from my psyche. And I have to say that the turkey bacon actually did taste like bacon. The fries were less satisfying, less tasty. Maybe it would have made a difference if we had actually sat down in the restaurant and ate them while they were still hot, but...despite the promptness of the delivery...they were, at best, semi-warm, and pretty tasteless. There were plenty of them, and I ended up disposing of a goodly portion (I don't like throwing away food, but I wasn't going to take them home, and I figured better they wind up in the garbage can than on my waistline or in my arteries). And the milkshake? Another co-worker ordered a medium sized milkshake and my "large" had perhaps only a half inch more of space involved in it. Which meant it probably wouldn't have made much of a difference if I had ordered a medium or a large. It was sweet, and thoroughly drinkable (if not especially tasty), but I regretted that I had used my monthly allotment of ice cream (or milkshake) for this. Oh well...chalk it up to experience! Final verdict? Not great, not bad. They have a lot of variety when it comes to burgers, and if you're into the "fast food" version, this place might rate high on your list. But, speaking purely for myself, if I do get a hankering for a cheeseburger and fries (and it does happen occasionally), I think I'll just stop at a diner or even a regular restaurant in order to indulge that urge. As far as I'm concerned, 30 Burgers is just ok.
