    Italian Chicken Sandwich
    Alyssa E.

Solid spot for a great chicken sandwich. The chicken was perfectly crispy, the sauces were flavorful, and the price was very reasonable. The staff was friendly and even cut the sandwich in half for us when we mentioned we were sharing. It's a small, unassuming place, but they know how to deliver on quality and service. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Delicious sandwiches in Jersey City! I had the Peruvian Chicken Sandwich which was packed with lots of panko breaded chicken and loads of flavor. The fries were also great. I was also interested in trying the Korean Chicken Sandwich. Restaurant has 6 seats indoors and 3 tables outdoors when the weather is nice. Friendly staff. Price is reasonable. Parking can be difficult as it is street parking.

I got the Peruvian chicken sandwich. This is so worth your money omg. It was not one but two pieces of fried chicken stacked together, and it was piping hot & juicy. Such a satisfying meal. Anytime you want a fried chicken sandwich, you should come here.

The Korean. Very messy but a must get because it's juicy and crunchy chicken.

ive had my eye on this spot for a minute. glad i finally came in and will be back. I grabbed the korean. the chicken is crunchy, but juicy. theres layers of flavor. VERY MESSY. i didnt think this was spicy, but felt some heat. the slaw is nice on top. the bun is buttery, but toasted. the sandwich itself is steep, priced at $15, but i think it's worth it. its made well and flavor profile is unique. small spot with 2 small tables, so id say not good for groups. they have maybe 8 other sandwiches and various fries. add them to your order for $3. good service, friendly staff & clean place.

Great food. Awesome service. Chicken Sando was tops. (Korean chicken was not too hot. Kinda sweet.) Burger looked good too. Yum.

Messy but totally worth it. Ordered the Italian chicken sandwich with fries and it didn't disappoint. The sandwich was huge and delicious. My only complaint is the fries, I just wish they were a bit bigger and better to complement the sandwich. Took the order to go, service was quick and easy. Food truck converted to a walk in restaurant. Solid spot!

Okay! The prices are fair! So I like that. The place is small but it's in Jersey City so it's cute and I love that they were playing 90'a rap/hip hop! Service is quick, we only waited like 10 minutes for 2 Mexican cheesesteaks. The cheesesteaks had the look of a Mexican style cheesesteak. The meat had all of the flavor but that was the problem! The aji verde sauce wasn't noticeable and the pickled onions complimented the meat, but the placement was wrong or not enough. They added that sweetness I was looking for to go with the meat just a little bit. The needed lime and spice. The entire time I was eating a sandwich. It was good, but each bite felt like it was missing something. The sandwich is a 6.5 for me and I feel lime and spice would kick it up a few notches. The free fries that were given to us had a sweet meat which was good but the fries either need to be crinkle cut or cooked a little less. They were too hard for loaded fries.

No forks given is a hole in the wall burger find in the heart of Jersey city ! First time here, the owner was very friendly and quick to attend to us. We sat outdoors, and were served the food very promptly. Everything on the menu seemed and sounded delicious. The actual dishes surprisingly live up the expectations and rating. I really enjoyed my panko breaded spicy tofu burger, we also ordered the chicken burger and spicy fries. The slaw with the burger was so fresh and delicious and added to the flavor bomb. Overall really good first experience, and came out with happy full bellies. Will definitely come back here.

It's always nice to see a great food truck make the move to brick and mortar. No Forks Given is a pretty recent addition to Brunswick Street, expanding on their menu of fried chicken sandwiches and cheesesteaks from a tiny storefront. I did a Peruvian sandwich with tofu in place of the chicken: aji amarillo + aji verde + pickled onions + cilantro + scallions + spicy mayo on brioche, and a side of togarashi fries (thin fries covered with spicy mayo + togarashi spice + scallions + sesame seeds). The sandwich was a mess, in a good way: crispy without being overly greasy, with a nice bite from the sauce. The fries were under seasoned, but the togarashi made up for it

The sandwiches where really tasty. Nice and friendly service. Small place good to order/pickup. Owner was really nice. Asked us how was our meal. Good smooth music. Nice and clean. Came on a Sunday so good on parking.

Not sure how they are considered the best fried chicken sandwich. I got the Peruvian fried chicken sandwich . It came with two pieces of chicken that lacks a flavor. Looking at other photos, I certainly got two burnt pieces of chicken. If I had the sandwich without the chicken I would've said it was tasty.

    Chicken Cesar sandwich

I have been here a handful of times & every time I've tried a new sandwich. They literally never disappoint - I have yet to have a bad experience! My most recent try was their chicken Cesar sandwich & let me tell you, it was soooo delicious! 10/10 - no notes. I'm not sure if this is a permanent item on the menu but if it's not, it definitely should be. The sweet potato fries are also very good! Highly recommend!

Stopped in before watching a show at the nearby venue so i had no expectations tbh, but i would say if i did have any they would have definitely surpassed them. The workers were kind and courteous, the food was delivered quickly and the prices were reasonable for the amount of food you got as well as the quality of it. Our fried chicken was juicy, not super greasy and packed so much flavor you could probably it eat alone. And thats not to say the other toppings were bad, the pickle and coleslaw were delicious in of themselves. The cheesesteak was savory, super cheesy, and they didnt skimp on any steak. the quality of the bread was great too, an overlooked detail but can make or break a sandwhich imo. Although i did dine in i wouldn't recommend it although they cater to it as best as they can but its a super small spot, i wont knock them for it but just a heads up. And who ever controlled the music: 10/10 overall: Great food, Great staff and cooks, Great music, super small spot.

I walked from Jersey City Heights down to downtown -- not a bad walk at all, un chin de cardio before breakfast . Real "treat yourself, mi amor" type of morning. Soon as I walked in... BABYYYY I felt like I got teleported straight into a little Italian market Shelves full of Italian goodies -- pastas, oils, snacks... I was like *yo quiero todo esto* It was giving *ciao bella, benvenuti, mangia mangia* vibes all day. The staff? Súper nice. No attitude, no rush -- just good energy. My husband got the #7 (on a roll) I got the #8 (on a bagel) We sat outside and did what married people do... switched sandwiches halfway Now listen... mine was good -- turkey, egg, pesto... she was cute, she had flavor, estaba bien ‍ BUT HIS?! Also... let me tell you about the BACK They got frozen pastas, little Napoli-style dishes, a whole meat section that looked crazy fresh, and you can order cold sandwiches too. Esto no es solo un deli -- it's a whole Italian experience, okurrr. And yes... it's a *little* pricey, no te voy a mentir. Pero honestly? You get what you pay for. Calidad, sabor, vibes -- todo está ahí. I skipped the coffee porque estoy tratando de behave con el budget but next time? And I'm coming back for that banana pudding porque I'm obsessed no shame. They got a little patio if you wanna sit, or you can take your food to the park and have a whole picnic moment. Real main character energy. Ponte linda, grab your sandwich, and just vibe out. It was absolutely delicious, perfectly savory, and extremely generous portion size. $14 for a sandwich is arguably high but it does feel like a good value. When I ordered it again, I added a classic BLT for my partner so he could try some Mordi's too--and, unsurprisingly. It also tasted amazing! However, when we first opened the box, we were both extremely disappointed at the size of it. For a simple classic sandwich that costs the same as the slightly more complex chicken parm (give or take $1), both combined halves of his sandwich were the same size as just one half of my chicken parm. It was alarmingly small (and did leave us wanting more). Next time I got him the $19 ribeye cheesesteak which he said was also delicious--and just as large and generous as the chicken parm. Service is quick, the cashier was friendly, and the free dog treats at the counter are a nice touch. We haven't had a miss so far taste-wise--only hits! While we encourage you to be mindful that not all portion sizes are created equal, we still absolutely recommend checking out this Mordi's (Lafayette) if you haven't yet!
