The quote was very expensive but I went with it because of the brand name and the thought that the instal would be high end with full electronic features for opening, closing and operation from within the house. Was I wrong..... What I got was a very basic, and I mean basic system, no light even for the touch pad. The iron started to rust before the installation was even complete. While some of the misunderstanding as to what electronic controls I was to get may have been on me, the whole thing was poorly executed with the gate dragged on the driveway interfering with opeining and closing. The sub contract electrician did a great job cutting the iron from the gate to clear drive way and installing the electronics, however the standard of the gate/fence instal was poor. I am now rubbing down the areas of rust at every welded joint etc myself and priming/top coating the many rust spots after spending high end money (and I mean high) for a low grade job. Oh and also installing a light over the touch pad so people can see the code they are punching in.... Save yourself the grief, do not buy from Long Fence

But they have my money. I took out a Home Depot credit card specifically to pay for this project and have already made 3 monthly payments. I have no idea the status of my project other than the permit was finally obtained. They have ignored multiple emails and phone calls. Just contacted corporate Home Depot to lodge a complaint against their chosen vendor. Maybe they can make something happen. Ergeon deserves -10 stars.
