I took in a Silk blouse that I wanted pressed, and a Vince Camuto duvet cover. The cover needed pressing from wrinkles out of the package. I decided to have them clean it as well since they were going to press it. Paid $48.30 for both. The duvet cover came back more wrinkled than when I took it in. It actually looked better when I took it in than after they serviced it. I complained immediately and was told that they steam it, and if I wanted it pressed, I would have to do it. I ran some errands and went back in. I was so mad. This time I was told that it is not going to look any better. I don't know how they cleaned it, but It looks like they took it out of the dryer and hung it on the hanger. At least they didn't shrink it. Earlier In the year I took in a pair of white pants to be laundered. They dry cleaned it and it came back pink. I have enclosed photos.

I was just a bit concerned about that as I wasn't told upon dropping them off. I was given the option of how quickly these needed to be turned around. Overall a very good experience. Nothing to do with Herman Jackson's, but parking is always an adventure in San Marco and it would be nice if they had their own parking. It would also be nice to have an idea of what the cost was going to be before leaving the drop off but the fact that it was reasonable more than made up for that. I feel I was overcharged and scammed by the owner (male). On March 11, 2026, I dropped off six garments to be hemmed only (2 jumpsuits and 4 slacks). The owner asked me if I wanted the brand new garments "pressed." Before I could respond, he said "I press for you, no worries," while flailing one arm. I assumed he was gonna do it as a courtesy. He told me the items would be ready on March 30th and I would receive a phone call letting me know. No phone call was received. On April 2nd I called to inquire about my garments. I was told they were ready. Upon arrival, I was shocked (to say the least) when the owner told me my total was $197.00! For six hemmed garments. No other alterations. This man told me the hems cost $26/item, plus "pressing" costs $16.00/item. He OFFERED to press the garments. I didn't ask! After I complained, he gave me a 10% "discount." I paid $177.00 to have six items hemmed ONLY (plus the cost to press added). Three of the four pairs of slacks were TOO LONG. They were not hemmed properly, and two pair didn't even appear to have been hemmed at all. I AM UPSET, to say the least. My husband returned this morning, April 3rd, to confront him about the exorbitant pricing and was only offered a $16.00 refund for "pressing." I'm still out-of-pocket $152.00...for hemming six pants (unlined pants).
