I had been thinking about getting my vision checked for months but I kept postponing it and…read morepostponing it. So one day I decided to come into this place in my hood and it was the best decision ever - the doctor that conducts the vision examination is super professional, attentive and gives you all the information possible about the diagnoses or changes in your prescription. The rest of the team was incredibly welcoming and very smiley too, helped me pick a new pair of glasses based on my facial features. Result: wonderful service and advice, and beautiful new and adjusted glasses.

I'm really disappointed by my experience here. While visiting Canada from the U.S. with my family,…read morewe stopped in for a quick glasses repair and to browse some frames that aren't available back home. Unfortunately, the visit quickly turned uncomfortable. I noticed I was being followed very closely around the store and was repeatedly asked if that was "all" before I'd even had a chance to properly look at anything. What stood out even more was that this treatment seemed to be directed only at me and not at other customers of different races. Because of this, I decided to put everything back and leave. No one should feel singled out or unwelcome while simply shopping. I can't recommend a place that made me feel this way, and I won't support a business where I experienced what felt like discriminatory treatment.

Dr. Lisa Anidjar was great! Super chill and down to earth person, made me feel at ease instantly…read more Went in for a standard exam to see if my prescription needed to be updated. She also gave me some advice on how teary my eyes get on the regular and gave me a sample of eye drops to help with that. It's also very convenient that once you get your prescription, you can pick out some frames and get glasses made right next door at Economy Optical. It's a nice family business and you can tell they care about the work they do. I picked up a pair of glasses for $168, and they were also very kind to do some additional adjustments for me. Will definitely be coming back when I need eye care!

Unprofessional place--avoid at all costs!!!…read more I had an eye exam here, and they made a glaring error: my right eye axis was off by 20 degrees. Small differences can happen, but 20 degrees is unacceptable for a place that claims to be professional. Even then, I wasn't angry. The real nightmare started when I checked my glasses. I bought a handcrafted frame from Japan for more than $800 after tax--fragile, unique, and something I truly cherish. On the day they tried to "fix" their axis mistake, instead of handling it properly, they decided to bend my frame without my consent. Now it's distorted, misshapen, and looks awful. They brushed it off as a "small adjustment." How ridiculous! Who bends a fragile Japanese frame to fix an optical prescription error?! I'm devastated and deeply disappointed by the way they treat their customers. And yes--it was Dr. Rebecca, the same name that appears in many other one-star reviews. Also, after few rounds of communication, the clinic refused to admit their mistake, still saying their intention was good, and the issue was small. The most irresponsible clinic I've ever encountered. A complete joke.
