The quality of the massages vary wildly depending on who is performing them. During a recent massage, the therapist, Dorothy, farted audibly for at least the first ten minutes which was really rude and off putting. Additionally the therapists do not wear shoes. Given that clients are wearing footwear and coming and going to and from the parking lot, lobby, restrooms and the massage rooms, this gave me serious ick as the therapists must have seriously dirty feet by the end of the day. Not planning on going back.

When I first started coming here it was for deep tissue work (years of desk slouching = pain in the neck). When getting the work done you are able to let the therapist know how if you need more or less pressure. I recently had some surgery and I've had massages that really helped reduce my post surgical pain. So, I go here pretty often and it's always a struggle. The main issue is communication. I asked how long until I could get a foot massage. The person at the desk held up a timer saying 20 minutes. I asked if I should sign in on a sheet or anything and they said no: I pointed to a chair right outside and said I'd be sitting there. I set a timer and came back in when it went off. They acted as though they had never seen me and started service on 3 new people. Why did they tell me yo come back in 20 minutes if I'd need to wait an additional "who knows how long" to get served? I told them that they had just told me to come back in 20 minutes and they all looked at each other, speaking only in their language, and ignored me. They just lost a regular.

One seemed annoyed that I didn't practice yoga because "yoga is life" according to him. The other therapist lectured me about my tight muscles in my back, but didn't make any suggestions on how to try to rectify the problem. I'm receptive to feedback, but not to being lectured or spoken down to by people who I'm paying for a service.
