I have use these same frames (I have a couple) to make lenses with almost the same prescription with other offices and the results have been great. The sunglasses I received from this office had a noticeable "fishbowl" effect. My other pair with the same exact frames and almost the same prescription were cut and produced very nicely with no problems. What actually bothered me was the response when I raised this concern. They repeatedly said this is due to my prescription and the curve of my frames even as I showed them the much better crafted lenses in my other identical frame - demonstrating it was possible to produce lenses for this frame without the problems that it had. When I asked if they could ask the lab to produce quality similar to the pair I had they basically said no. In other offices, without my even having to make that request, the staff told me they noticed the curve of the lenses and that they would personally call the lab and direct them to ensure the lenses were produced without the fishbowl effect and fitting the curvature of the frames well. Briggs needs to hold its lab to higher standards and to offer that level of advocacy for its customers - it's pretty basic for opticians to do that as they work with their eyeglass labs. Unfortunately that type of response means I will have to switch back to the office I used to go to even though it is in Roswell, 30 minutes away. At least I will get better crafted eyeglasses.

I could read the "E" at the top of the eye chart and that was all. As soon as I could, much later in life, I did something about it. Two co-workers recommended Dr. Ashraf of the Atlanta Vision Institute when he was with his former lasik surgery practice. On their recommendation, I had the same surgery performed (using a type of Bausch & Lomb equipment that is obsolete now). He corrected my eyes to 20/15 in one eye, and nearly 20/15 in the other. This was back in 2001 and I swear by my results. Lasik, though performed under a streamlined process, is still surgery, and you experience minor discomfort and inconvenience as you recover. The success rate is very, very high, as a result of being carefully screened beforehand. Read the literature accompanying your consent forms. I referred Miss D. to Dr. Ashraf after he formed the Atlanta Vision Institute, and he performed a different type of vision improvement surgery for her, and three years later she also is very happy with her result. We paid for and received the one-year touch-up package, though she did not use it.

I had a lot of concerns about LASIK and risks, but after speaking to Dr. Ashraf he was able to put all my worries at ease. He is very knowledgeable and experienced, with some of the best and newest technology available today. I decided to schedule surgery September 2014. I was told the surgery would take about 10-15 minutes, but it honestly didn't feel like it took even that long. Other than some pressure on your eyes from the instruments used to keep your eyes open, the procedure was painless. Directly after surgery they check your sight and my eyes were almost as good as they were with glasses coming in! There is some pain/soreness for a few hours after surgery (when the eye drops wear off). Have someone drive you home and take a 3-4 hour nap. After that, there was no pain at all and my sight continued to get better and better! I haven't been to a check up recently, but at my last one my sight was almost 20/20. I don't have any issues (no dryness or anything), except that for the first few months I would see some halos around lights when driving at night, but honestly I had this issue with contacts as well so it wasn't a big deal. Since I had such a good experience, both my husband and best friend decided to get LASIK done here. They both both couldn't believe how fast and easy it was and none of us regret our decision! I wish I had done this sooner. I highly recommend getting LASIK, and especially from Dr. Ashraf who was so professional and a pleasure to work with.

We typically go with America's Best for glasses but since hubby and I are new to the area and have…read morevision insurance now, which we did not have before, we decided to try something different when we went for our eye exams this year. Originally we were going to go with Pearl Vision, which is just down the street from here, but the reviews scared us off and I settled on Eye Optique instead. My son had gone here for contacts a few months ago and seemed pleased with his experience and they have generally good reviews too. Scheduling our appointment online was easy and we received both confirmation and reminders about it after making it. There was plenty of availability to choose from. We scheduled our appointments back to back so that we could knock it all out at once. The doctor was great! She was professional and thorough. Both hubby and I felt comfortable with the exam and her competence. The guy working the front was also very professional and friendly. Once the glasses came in, he took his time to ensure that the fit was perfect for each of us before we left. While we spent more than we normally do at America's Best even with insurance covering a portion of it, we feel like the service and quality live up to the cost. The issue is that they don't have any cheap frames. Most options are designer names. Since we typically only get reading glasses, I will most likely just do the exam here and order frames online going forward because I'm cheap and not interested in spending big bucks on reading glasses that I hate wearing anyway, but this is no reflection on the quality of Eye Optique, which I think is top notch, and I am glad we ended up here.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear that $110 without insurance would get me both exams. The Dr is not in on Wednesdays so I chose a Saturday morning appointment. This location is next door to UPS store and Baskin Robbins. You can see it off the street clearly. It's in the same shopping plaza as Chipotle and Sprouts. The parking is free and plentiful. I always dread going to any doctor but I knew that I needed a new prescription. My last eye exam was at America's Best during the pandemic so I was a year or 2 behind. This experience was one of the best Dr visits I have encountered. Dr. Boyd was extremely knowledgeable and polite. My wait time was minimal. And I received 3 different contact samples with pretty clear instructions. They do sell eyeglasses and if you don't have insurance.. it's 30% off the frames. I definitely recommend this place. The level of care is superb!

The office is spotless, well organized, and there were no long wait times which is so rare these days. Dr. Krishan Bhima is phenomenal. He took the time to truly listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and got to the root of the issue with a solution that was tailored to me. His bedside manner is kind, calm, and never rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients and their long term eye health. With his extensive background and years of experience in the Atlanta area, I felt completely confident in his care. Chris Jones, the office manager, is also a true standout. Her years of optical experience show in the way she communicates and supports both the team and the patients. She is knowledgeable, honest, approachable, and goes above and beyond to help you navigate your options. You feel like more than just a number here. I highly recommend this practice to anyone in the Cumming or North Atlanta area. It is rare to find a team that combines professionalism, warmth, and real expertise but this office does exactly that. I will definitely be returning and referring others.

I asked for contact solution and she lied and said they didn't have any until I pointed out they did. Just like the other comments.. I've never not been able to get contact solution. All they want to do is take your money.! I took my prescriptions and left. After treating me poorly do you think I would do further business?! Of course NOT! All of his staff is horrible. Especially the front desk.! The girl that go over the contacts and insurance is horrible too. I asked her for solution and she act like she couldn't give it to me.. oh I have to ask the doctor.! I regret not reading the reviews beforehand because the concerns others expressed are absolutely accurate. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff were unpleasant, unwelcoming, and unprofessional. The atmosphere felt transactional rather than patient-focused, and there was little effort to create a respectful or organized experience. Before I was even seen for my appointment, fees were already being attached to my profile without a clear explanation or detailed breakdown of what was covered by insurance versus what would be my financial responsibility. When a patient has active insurance, all fees should be disclosed upfront -- clearly, accurately, and before being applied. Patients deserve transparency, informed consent, and a thorough understanding of optional versus mandatory services. That standard was not met. The speed and manner in which charges were applied raised serious concerns about the office's billing and insurance procedures. In a healthcare setting, especially one that works directly with insurance providers, ethical administration and financial transparency are essential. Applying fees without proper communication creates distrust and gives the impression that revenue is prioritized over patient care. Given my experience, I believe this business would benefit from a formal review or audit of its billing practices to ensure compliance with proper standards. After obtaining my prescription, I chose to leave rather than continue doing business there. Based on the lack of professionalism, transparency, and accountability I encountered, I cannot recommend this office to anyone seeking trustworthy and patient-centered eye care.
