I have gone to him eight times in the past two years at first he was OK never remembers you but every time it gets worse and worse and every single time he yells at you on the phone this time was it. I took my car to Tuffy's after Ericksons did $400 of work on my car and my service engine light was still on and then he asked me if I had any problems with my brakes I've never had an issue with my brakes until I left his shop the next day I went to Tuffy's in they said that he drained my brake fluid was completely empty I've never had problems just had an oil change all things were tapped off and go in the same place to have an oil change for the last six years but all of a sudden it was empty or you serious so he's trying to cause problems on my car now I need brakes and my calibers are bad because I drove with no brake fluid in my car this is not even half of what this man is done do not waste your time he is legitimately crazy and he forgets everything he could have your car for a week unless you call him he wouldn't even start on it it could be sitting in front of his door he does not remember anything. We called Rasmusson's and had great service from the first phone call, until 15 minutes later when Randy (the smaller version Randy I was told). Randy was a great help in options for repair and local advice he shared. Having your car break down is never fun, but receiving excellent service from invested people and a company that employs quality - it makes a huge impact. Thank you from Alex, Jeremy, and Dave

On a Sunday, I called that I blew a tire and needed roadside assistance. The lady who answered the…read morephone was extremely nice and did tell me that the truck was about 30 minutes away pulling another vehicle out of the ditch so I would have to wait a little bit. I said I had a four-year-old in the car so I would try to maybe call around still but to plan on getting me and I would call he back IF I found someone else. Gave her my name and number and she told me she would call me when they were on their way. About an hour later, my car AC wasn't keeping up because it was a real feel of 102 out. Like I mentioned I had a four-year-old in the car so I was starting to get concerned about heat. A little over an hour after my original call I called back and no answer. I left a voicemail asking about an ETA so I can figure out a Plan B with my child. I ended up finding a friend to pick me up, and I left my car on the side of the road. Two hours after my original call, I was home, but I was still trying to get a hold of them to tow my car. I called and left another voicemail stating I was home, but I would still need my car to be towed so they could call me back. Called them again 1 hour later. No answer and still no call back. They have my number from the original call as well as I've left it in two voicemails now. I called again another hour later. No answer. Finally after five hours and 6 unanswered calls I called and left a voicemail that I no longer needed their service. Yes I knew they were on another call but it was 30 minutes away. I waited plenty long enough and still after I got home I was going to use them to tow my car. I am now writing this 24 hours later and I have never heard from anyone not even an apology from the company. It was a Sunday so less people working I get, I called other places and they were just as long as waits so I get it. But not ONE call back or update. Even now not an explanation of what happened. I went with Sheetz Towing and they had my car towed within a hour. Also noting this started at 2:30pm, they are 24/7 and this was not a middle of the night situation.

Seeking peace of mind, she pulled into Hanson & Sons. The "service" she received was a brief scanner hookup for code P1450. The "professional diagnostic" she was sent was a low-effort screenshot of a Google search. For this, they charged her $133.75. There were no prices listed, and no one had the decency to tell her there would be a triple-digit fee for a service that most reputable shops (and every major auto parts chain) provide for free. In fact, the owner apologized that my daughter did not ask the appropriate questions. When confronted with how unreasonable this price was for a simple code retrieval, the owner was unprofessional and refused to find any common ground. It is clear this business prioritizes a quick buck over ethics. If you're looking for a shop that actually treats people with respect (and not a heap-ton of passive aggressive attitude) and fair pricing, keep driving. This isn't it. EDIT: I sent a direct message to the owner correcting her response (it wasn't a credit card, and I was never given a counter offer to my $25 offer), and also informed the business that I had found an automotive business in Clarion who would pull a code for less (the owner said he would price match to 30 miles), they declined to price match. The business owner then proceeded to say that the reason why the business isn't equivalent and worthy of being price matched is because "Arnold's employees are not professional service providers. They are salesmen." What's even worse is the condescending attitude and passive aggressiveness found in every conversation. This is not a business a person should trust their vehicle with.

The service she received was unprofessional, misleading, and unacceptable. My sister was charged $133 for services that were not clearly explained or justified. At no point was there transparent communication about the cost or necessity of the charge, which strongly suggests she was taken advantage of. When she attempted to ask questions and understand what she was paying for, the staff responded with a dismissive and rude attitude rather than providing clarification. In addition to the questionable charge, the overall customer service was extremely poor. The staff displayed a lack of professionalism, patience, and respect. No customer should be made to feel uncomfortable or brushed off when asking reasonable questions about their vehicle or their bill. This experience reflects badly on Hanson and Sons Auto and raises serious concerns about their business practices, particularly toward customers who may be more vulnerable to being overcharged. I believe this matter deserves attention, accountability, and a proper explanation of the $133 charge.
