Tow Truck staff is about as unfriendly as you can get. These guys are a bunch of con artists and will rip you off anytime you try to do business with them. I needed a tow when my car inexplicably died in Boulder and when my buddy (who is a mechanic) arrived to try to help me out, the driver had already gotten the car a good portion of the way hooked up to the tow truck. When my buddy was able to discover the problem in a matter of seconds (I know, I am pathetic when it comes to these things), it was determined that no tow was needed- the car was working perfectly fine. However, the driver had a different idea in mind. He told me that in order for him to put the car down, it was going to be 40 dollars cash. He refused to accept any other type of payment- which led me to believe he was just trying to make some cash that he could then pocket. When i informed the driver that I did not in fact have 40 dollars cash on me, he told me there was nothing he could do- the car was on the truck and if I couldnt give him the cash, he would be forced to complete the tow. I then proceeded to beg him to start putting the car down while i ran literally across the street to get 40$ out of the atm. He told me that he would be done hooking the car up by the time I got back and he was not going to wait for me. I wanted to call the cops! the guy forced me to get the car towed to my repair shop where i promptly picked it up and drove it home. The tow ended up costing me 150$! I warn anyone who needs their car towed and doesnt know a whole lot about this field. These guys will screw you over and over again! read more

Very fast, friendly and efficient service. My friend and I both had flat tires in the past week, and after calling AAA, Marv's was sent out to help both of us. First was my car. Mike arrived only 15 minutes after I made my phone call! I had a stripped lug nut and was unable to remove it, and he got it off within minutes. He then put my spare on for me, and made it look effortless, all while pleasantly conversing. Very nice tow truck driver. I drove away less than 15 mins after he arrived. Then last night I was with my friend when she had a giant nail go through her tire. Brett responded to her call, and made it out to our location in half the time we were quoted. Her lug nuts were so badly stripped, he just couldn't get them off. But that didn't stop him from trying everything he could, even after it got dark and he had to get out his flashlight. Although in the end it didn't work out, he really did everything he could and we really appreciate the effort. Since she REALLY didn't want to have it towed, but couldn't drive on the flat, he offered to fill it up with air, since she could probably make it to a tire shop. He had a good recommendation on hand, and in the end she drove away with just enough air to get her to a repair shop. Long story short, both drivers did everything they could do to help us, as no one wants to have their car towed. I would absolutely recommend them. read more

I am simply amazed... I had been towed by campus for parking tickets (my bad but what are you gonna do...blame someone else?) and was waiting for an officer to come down so they could escort me to my car. While I was sitting there I was watching and listening to the folks behind the counter. There was one customer raving about being towed illegally. He still smelled like a barroom floor, and did his best to make their life that harder by bickering over every little detail. When they told him he had hit four other cars before the police arrested him, he quieted a little, but still left promising to sue them. When my officer arrived we went right out to my vehicle and got the documents I needed to prove it was my vehicle ( I thought that was nice, they wont give my car away to just anyone). When I came back with my release form, they noticed my insurance card had expired, and helped me get in touch with my agent so I could get a copy faxed to them. They even made me a copy! Overall they did their best to make a frustrating situation a little easier for my pride to handle. After reading some of the other reviews, and watching the grief they deal with first hand from people who could not come to grips with the concept of responsibility, I had to write them a review and tell them thanks for their help. Great service, great people, hands down. read more

Marv's towing picked up our car after we were hit in an accident. They towed off the car and the tow truck driver named Brent told me, the keys are in the cup holder. I told him thanks. Three weeks later our car has not been looked at because when it was delivered to the auto body place the keys were missing. We called Marvs to inquire about where the keys went, our only set of keys to the car. They said the driver wrote on his report there were no keys. Seriously, because the tow truck driver told me himself he put them in the cup holder. So which ever of his employees lost the keys when they delivered the car to the auto body shop lost the keys. They had to use the keys to put the car in neutral to roll it up. So now we have no car and no keys. To make matters worse Marvs is covering up that they lost the keys and they were completely unwilling to take the blame or to rectify the situation. So user beware, I'd advise you not to support a company that doesn't take care of it's clients, that doesn't make it right when they are wrong. We'll advise Allstate and Boulder police and everyone on Yelp not to use Marvs Towing. If you do take a copy of the supposed report because they are going to alter it in the end after the incident. read more

LOL At these Fake "Reviews" So, all of these reviews are fake - Marv's stole my car once (parking pass prominently displayed on the dash, even taped it in place) and I had to have the Sheriff call them and threaten them if they didn't return my property - I I still had to walk all the way out to their lot! The little punk that works there tried to grab me out of my car, so I dragged him until he let go. They were also found to be behind the theft of a friend of mines R6 motorcycle - they magically produced the stolen bike, saying that someone (just who, they couldn't recall) called it in as "abandoned" - in a private parking lot, with a valid licence plate - we went there, armed, with title in hand and called the law. Sheriff's deputy literally threatening arrest on site. They had already removed the fairing and were starting to take to casing off. Absolute thieving sleaze. read more

These guys are great, and the truck driver I got was even better. Battery died and I thought I'd have to get it towed to the local Subaru dealership. The driver showed up on time exactly when I told them to be there and got right down to business. Tim, the driver I met, was awesome! He saved me $25 since we only had to jumpstart the car instead of towing it and I really appreciate that honesty and integrity, it really reflects well on the business he works for. He jump-started it with his powerful charger (way more then my mini handheld unit could do) and I was on my way. I really appreciate both Tim and Marv's for making my life easier and saving me money at the same time! Would easily recommend these guys to anybody who needs their services. read more

My car got into an accident and the city called Marv's. They offered to tow my car for 150$ to their lot as they made it seem like the best option. Next thing you know I can't get any of my stuff from my car until I pay 400$ due to some hidden fees they did not tell you about. I can not retrieve any of my belongings until I pay for it, and also find someone to take it off the lot. The customer service was also terrible. The Lady on the phone was both terse and unhelpful, all in a scheme in my opinion to rake up money as the longer the car is there the more money they get. Overall very bad experience, I will strongly recommend literally any other towing over these scam artists. read more

Early this morning, Monday, I went out to my garage to start my car to go to work. On a Monday, can't say that enough, my car was dead. I called Marv's towing because my place of business uses Marv's. Let me remind you it was Monday morning and Vicki answered the phone at 6:55 with the most positive, sweet voice !!! She not only changed my morning but my day as well. She took all my information and within 20 minutes I had another positive, helpful employee, Abraham, at my garage. Abraham helped me get my car going and off he went. I CAN"T recommend Marv's Towing enough!! Thank you again for your wonderful service. read more

Very Impressed!! Professional! My Van broke down in Boulder in a parking lot. I needed to be towed from Boulder to Colorado Springs (About 97 miles) I called Marv's and they were informative and very nice on the phone and answered all of my questions. It was evening and they had someone come within an hour, hooked up with no problem and I rode with the driver (Mike) all the way back. Mike was kind and excited about his job. Not bothered. We had great conversation on the road and he unloaded the van easily at my home. They were very reasonable and affordable on price. I HIGHLY recommend them!! They offer service 24/7. read more

Horrible company. My wife was in an accident, hit by a young kid in Boulder. Marv's was dispatched by the police to tow our car. My wife was told by the tow truck driver that he had the key and would leave it in the cup holder. The car finally makes it to the auto body shop, but has no key in it. Marv's is refusing to accept responsibility for the key, now claiming that they never had a key and refusing to let us talk to the driver. The total unprofessional conversation with the more than rude "customer service" representative is enough to make me tell everyone DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! read more

Hey Marvs. Thanks for a job well done. Your guy Clay did a great job towing my car from Boulder to Longmont and was very friendly. Saw the other review for you guys and I have to say that when I called Marvs, I got a friendly lady who took my call and told me to wait for about 15 minutes. Thats the problem these days with online information, much of it is just pure S-P-A-M,,,, hey, thanks again Marvs and thanks Clay for making my day... will keep the Marvs biz card in my glove compartment should I need a tow in the future. My insurance company assigned a tow company for my tow. After an hour I called back and they said it had been re-assigned.and it would be an additional two hours. Frustrated I called Marv's and explained my situation to the dispatcher. I had a driver at my location (Boulder Bound US36 at Davidsion Mesa) within twenty minutes. They helped make a bad situation a better one. Even though I had to manually turn in the paperwork and will have to wait a few days for a refund from my insurance company it it absolutely worth it for the service they provided. read more

Had a great towing experience this evening with Glen from Marv's Quality Towing service. My engine had overheated and Marv's was quick to get to me for a tow. Glen, the service provider was friendly and very helpful. It was very cold out, and the first thing he offered was the warmth of his truck's cab. We rode back to our service station with him and enjoyed our ride and friendly conversation. This is not the first time I've been rescued by Marv's towing. They're always fast, efficient, and very friendly. Highly recommend! read more

Marvs donated their time and money to help sponsor the Boulder Boulder. I thought my car was impounded when I forgot to move it from the race course. Instead they moved the car off the course at no cost to me and when I called, they told me exactly where I could find my car. Hooray for Marvs, you guys rock. In this day to find a business thats not all about the bottom line and looks out for the best interests of the community and the people who live there is rare. If I ever do need a tow Marvs will be the first number I call.... read more

I just had my car towed by Marv's. They were recommended by my mechanic at Hoshi Motors. I called up Marv's this morning and spoke with Brandon. He showed up within twenty minutes of my phone call. Brandon and Tony did a quick check to make sure my car really did need a tow (it wasn't jumpable). They worked quickly and were helpful and respectful. From the time I called to the time they drove away was under 40 minutes. I was impressed. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. read more

Misfortune in the shape of a traffic accident was made better and smoother by the employees at Marv'sI have been in the automotive industry in Colorado for nearly 30 years. I have watched Mar'vs towing all this time and have found them professional, considerate and ethical. My personal dealings with them have always been fair. They have always had detractors. These detractors are people who don't understand the towing business, or have a sense of common courtesy. Thanks, Marv's read more

The kindest man from Marvs helped me with my car. He was so kind and I was so nervous about it until he arrived and was thoughtful, approachable, friendly and genuine. He came quickly and knew exactly what to do. He helped me jump my car and then when I realized there was an additional problem he came back again to help me that same night. I would recommend Marvs to anyone. And though I hope I don't have further car troubles I will be more than happy to work with Marvs again. read more

Marv's is very responsive and cares about the people they serve. For the second time in two months, my truck decided it did not want to start. Marv's was prompt and courteous. Ron Irving is a rock star for Marv's. He was very professional and really was there to serve his client. He was on the phone making sure I had a ride and was able to get home. It doesn't get more textbook approach to outstanding business practices. Hats off to Marv's - Thank you. read more

After using my roadside assistance through my insurance they sent this company. Ron showed up early and immediately made the whole situation bearable. He was super friendly and very professional. After hiccups with the insurance he was still super friendly got the car to the shop even knowing he may not be paid for his labor. He is a great guy and I would definitely recommend them because of the exceptional service provided by Ron! read more
