Quality of Care 5/5 Amelia was very skilled and understanding of my ankle injury and custom brace. She reviewed accommodating footwear options, her recommendations and also formed a set of three custom orthotic inserts which all work well together. Office 5/5 The Chandler location has Podiatrists and related services and separate staff for custom orthotics. The office is towards the back of the business complex. The front desk staff are helpful and the office itself is very nice. I highly recommend Foot and Ankle Clinics of Arizona and their Orthotics services! Thx Amelia! SYOY

I asked for a follow up since my mom is waiting on a follow up for surgery and Maggie indicated that she would check on the status follow up shortly. Of course that did not happen. I would greatly appreciate that!

He indicated achilles surgery might be needed. Then he joined a medical group, and we sort of wandered away. The second podiatrist went straight to surgery, which we consented to. Basically, detach the achilles, file down the spur, and reattach. After all that, the problem isn't any better than it was. Enter Dr Rowe. He evaluated the foot, and then ordered a series of MRI images to be taken. In hindsight, I have to wonder why the previous guys didn't do that! His conclusion: of course the achilles surgery didn't work because the calf muscle is a bit too short. So the spur is growing again because the underlying problem wasn't fixed. The calf needs to be lengthened. He was very up-front, very friendly, and not rushed. He stayed until all our questions were answered. We've declined for now, but I was impressed that he wanted detailed pictures to see what was really going on, and then made a suggestion that made sense. I think we have a new podiatrist. I suspect that surgery will happen, but for now we're going to live with it.

One Medical is an interesting place to review because... it's not a restaurant, and it's not an…read moreentertainment place. But it's a place you go to see a doctor. And in the spirit of Yelp... I review everything. Including... walk-in doctor's offices. So, I'm a One Medical user, and I've used it for about six months. This is my home location, and I'm definitely a fan. One of the main things I like about it is how you can get labs done by just walking in anytime. You don't need an appointment. You just walk in and wait. If there's a line, they can give you a time to come back. Or, if there's no line, you can just sit in the waiting room. It's very nice to have a lab on site, and you don't have to deal with the whole Sonora Quest adventure that a lot of us Arizonans deal with. I've seen two nurse practitioners there. Both of them were helpful. And not only did they show good bedside manner--if I'm able to use that term, despite not actually being in a hospital bed--but they also were quick to respond to my messages on the app. The service here is painless. No pun intended. It's easy to make an appointment. Their app is very well-designed. And this location is clean and friendly. I would recommend One Medical if you're looking for a simple primary care experience.

But whoever is handling the billing lately is so rude, am not sure what happened. Maybe they outsourced it? I've never had an issue until recently. I called to clarify a charge that didn't seem like it was coded correctly. The person I spoke to on the phone was obviously busy with so many other things in the background and seemed annoyed and said she'd pass along my concern. I asked in the app and the person who replied was extremely rude as well, when I was just looking for clarification. Apparently a Saturday appointment triggers an extra $87 charge as "after hours" even though that was never disclosed and it shows on the website that they are opening alternate Saturdays (again with no mention of it being an extra fee or extra hours.) It wasn't an emergency and we didn't need to go on a Saturday. I just think that it should be disclosed somewhere that an extra fee will be incurred. My first inquiry in the app received a very patronizing "non-answer" to my question. The AI in the app is great but it doesn't handle billing. AI isn't always helpful but at least it's not rude or insulting. After the back and forth, I logged in to pay the balance that I should not have owed, but I chalked it up to a lesson learned. It showed zero balance. That was a few weeks ago, and today I got a bill in the mail showing the outstanding balance again. The providers and the quality of care are amazing. I just felt insulted the way I was treated by the billing people, and that's left a bad taste in my mouth. I would definitely recommend One Medical but be warned that billing might be a hassle now that I guess it's being handled by new people.

Even with the windows fully closed, the Arizona wind whistles through the frames, making it impossible to rest. For a surgical recovery environment, the lack of basic climate control and structural integrity is flat-out pathetic. **The Billing Department is a Disaster:** Despite the "hospital" feeling like a bargain-bin relic, the bill for a single-night stay was astronomical and completely overcharged. To make matters worse, their billing department is utterly inflexible and lacks any shred of human compassion--they flat-out **refused to accept installment payments**, demanding an unreasonable amount upfront for a stay that didn't even provide a draft-free room. This place is a "shit hole" in every sense of the word. They prioritize aggressive collection tactics over facility maintenance. I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED by how reports of SEXUAL HARASSMENT toward medical staff have been…read morehandled at this organization. A medical assistant has repeatedly experienced inappropriate and sexually harassing behavior from patients and has brought these concerns directly to the physicians and leadership responsible for supporting her. Despite communicating the seriousness of the situation, there has been little to no meaningful action to protect her or address the broader issue. What is especially concerning is that the response has apparently included telling the employee that she should stop wearing makeup, rather than addressing the inappropriate behavior of the patients responsible for the harassment. An employee's appearance is not an invitation for sexual harassment, and the responsibility for inappropriate behavior should not be placed on the person experiencing it. Employees should not have to repeatedly advocate for basic safety and respect in their workplace. There should be a clear process for reporting patient harassment, appropriate intervention when incidents occur, and meaningful support from the physicians and leadership overseeing these employees. I am intentionally not identifying the employee involved because this is not about putting her name on the internet. It is about bringing attention to a serious workplace issue that needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY. Leadership needs to take reports of sexual harassment seriously, communicate clearly about how employees can report these incidents, and take appropriate steps to protect their staff.

Unsatisfactory and if somebody hasn't reported this office to the board, that should be someone's next step They never returned your phone call in the office, they never respond to your email or even your Portal messages. The lack of communication is horrible and honestly their billing our insurance or you're self-pay but they treat you like cattle None of those girls ever even think what it's like walking in the patient shoes! They're not sick and they could give a hoot !! I mean, after all, it's not their Life!!! And God Almighty if you're trying to get a prescription or an INS pre-Auth that will NEVER happen you as a patient need to do all that footwork and babysit everything they do because that's how incompetent they are at Summit Rheumatology! And the worst part about it is they get paid we the patients do not get paid utilize all our time to make sure they're doing their job!!! I would've left many months ago, but I only stayed because Peter Hennis was there! I even tried to keep my appointment, but there's so incompetent. They let me run out of my medication even after my insurance Concierge reached out.! If that is not considered UNCARING,, I don't know what's not!!!' They should be extremely ashamed of themselves even calling that in office with the incompetence and most of us that go they have an illness and all they do is bring that illness on stronger because they don't care! ‍ This goes for all their locations, except wherever Peter Hennis was present! He assured that team did their job and their diligence for the patient as they should regularly. I don't even know why the team are there, They are getting paid to do absolutely nothing.!!! And if they're so overwhelmed because they have so many patients then stop seeing new patients and coordinate the schedule better! Instead of brushing us all off as our lives, don't matter nor our time or energy! Rheumatology just makes you sicker than you are because of the stress they bring onto you!! They're extremely incompetent at ALL THEIR LOCATIONS and if you ask for the manager to give you a call, don't expect that, it will never happen. I've come to the conclusion perhaps there's not a manager they're not existent and that's why you never receive a call but I could be incorrect but I know one thing you'll never get a call or get contact about anything ! Not to mention the billing department they're ridiculous. Exceptional Rheumatology patient care Peter Hennis Who Truly Cares and understands! The connection he makes with each patient makes you feel like you are his only patient and everybody wants to feel that way although we are not it's a nice feeling as the patient! I have been seeing Peter Hennis for many moons and I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about him and the care he has provided throughout the years. He has always been compassionate, Shown empathy with knowledgeable Resources and an extreme amount of Patience, who genuinely committed to my health and well-being. He shows this with all his patients On the daily! Living with a chronic illness can be challenging, and having Peter Hennis in my corner who truly listens, takes your concerns seriously, and understands that every patient's experience is different means so much! He has always taken the time to listen to my symptoms, answer my questions, explain things clearly, and makes sure I feel heard and supported With Solutions to all of the setbacks. He recently Relocated to Riverside Rheumatology, I was more than willing to Locate him on LinkedIn and follow him because I TRUST him and the care he provides. That, in itself says a lot about the Kind of human he is! He takes care of you as you should to help your illness and help you get better for stressing you out like Summit Rheumatology And they're so-called team! They lack customer service skills, 110% or maybe they just never have them in the beginning or they're callous, but most of them are young so to me they would never really understand walking in your what if like to be in your shoes one day because if they did, they wouldn't respond with a non-response When you were the patient or reaching out for assistance!! ABSOLUTELY SHAME ON THEM!!!!! They should be embarrassed
