When asked by Maddie the treatment care coordinator if she wanted to insure her crown my mother-in-law declined and that was all that was said about buying insurance. The office staff are friendly and efficient. Dr Proctor was excellent as was his assistant Christine.The office space is clean and updated. These charges weren't brought to my attention, nor were they explained at the time of payment--itemized receipts were only provided when specifically requested. This is the first time I have ever been charged a protection plan to insure dental work, and when I raised the issue, I was told that it was too late to reverse the charges. At no point was the fee pointed out to me; instead, it was added to my bill without explanation, making it seem as though it was intentionally slipped in without my knowledge. Given that the office cannot guarantee their dental work for a reasonable period without these extra charges, and considering the lack of transparency and the addition of what I see as unnecessary fees, I will not be going back to this practice. I believe it's important for practices to be upfront and honest with their billing, and unfortunately, my experience did not reflect this standard.

Bad teeth and lower than normal amounts of calcium run in our family so I was more than concerned. Let me preface this with my son is made to brush and floss at least twice daily. He has a timer that is set for two minutes and then we help him floss. He is only eight so we are trying to create habits that will continue. After the awful night this week with the toothache we took him to Burleson pediatric and were told that he needs three crowns and that there was damage to the nerves in his permanent teeth. I was shocked and honestly needed proof. Upon reviewing the x-rays with the doctor I was just angry. How did this progress to this point in this short of time? Now looking back there were signs that should not have been ignored. This is not a professionally run operation. Seems to me like they wanted the insurance money and didn't take the time to actually examine my child. I hate seeing my children suffer and I directly attribute his suffering to their negligence. During the procedure today my eight year old son had to have one of his permanent teeth pulled because it was so damaged and two others capped. I directly attribute this to this dentist office that did nothing 6 months ago to warn us of this.

The dentist told me that I needed to have a tooth extracted and told me what the insurance would pay. I told her there would be no extractions done. Receptionist gave me a date and time for next appointment and I marked my calendar. I then get a call my appointment needed to be changed as the doctor was on vacation and I told her that I was scheduled a week later and all she wanted to do is argue with me that I was wrong. Went to my new date appointment and the girl doing my X-rays said I was there for an extraction and a crown and I told her no. I was there for a routine six month exam. Was not told that I would not have Dr. Sohi - the dentist that came in said she was filling in and if that was okay. Kind of late to ask me that. She continued to check my teeth and then cleaned them while giving me a shower at the same time. I mentioned to the girl that did the X-rays about the appointment mix up and she went on to say that I called in January to change the date which I never did. She wanted to schedule my next appointment and I told her no that is fine. I feel that this office just wants to keep selling you services that you do not need or want. From the moment I arrived, the entire team made me feel calm, supported, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Ali is absolutely incredible. Not only is he gentle and patient, but he's also genuinely funny and has a way of lightening the mood without ever making you feel dismissed. He reassured me over and over that everything would be okay, explained each step in a way I could understand, and constantly checked in to make sure I was comfortable. You can tell he was truly meant to be a dentist...he has that rare combination of skill, compassion, and natural bedside manner that immediately puts you at ease. I left feeling confident and safe in his care, which is something I never thought I'd say about a dental visit. Amy and Valerie, the dental assistants, were just as wonderful. I am pregnant and they treated me like they have no knowledge or consideration at all when it comes to pregnancy. First, I requested to be at a small incline as it is not safe to be flat on your back. The DENTIST made multiple comments how that was uncomfortable for her because she would have to stand instead of sit during my filing. Making me feel like a total burden. Further, I waited a hour past my appointment to start my filling. Once started, she and the assistant talked about their relationships and religion and home life the whole time. It was extremely unprofessional. Then 1/2 way through the doctor told me she needed to go do other exams. So she left me 1/2 way done sitting there for another 20 -30 minutes to go work on other patients. So all in all , the appointment that should have taken 30 minutes took almost 2 hours. My advice, go to a dentist that actually cares about their work, and not their coming up vacation time. It's typically the office staff that are terrible and the doctors make up for it , but in this case, it clearly starts at the top and the staff follows along constantly apologizing for the dentist's behavior.

The staff was friendly and my wait in the waiting room was only about 10 minutes. They took me back and took 18 xrays of my mouth, more than I've had in my life! Then I was taken to the back and seated in an exam chair. There was a bit of a wait but the assistant kept coming in to check to see that I was OK and comfortable. Then a dental hygienist came to check my gums and finally the dentist did my exam. Dr. Mitchell was very friendly and explained everything to me as she completed the exam and answered all my questions. The price I was quoted for the work I needed was very reasonable and the exam and all the xrays were free with my insurance. They did some of the work there on the spot and I have a follow up appointment. I am not a fan of going to the dentist but the people at Monarch made it as pleasant of an experience at possible.

They are uncomfortable, unstable, and make it extremely difficult for me to eat and live comfortably. I paid a significant amount of money for professional dental services, and I expect the work to be done correctly. Properly fitting dentures are not optional -- they are essential to my health and quality of life. As an older patient, this experience has been both physically and financially burdensome.
