I absolutely love going to Dr. Jennifer West! She is hands down the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! I am very impressed with her technical skills as well as her personal customer interaction. Never in my life has a dentist called to make sure that I am feeling ok until now! Dr. West has called me several times just to make sure everything was going well. Also, I love the fact that she is abreast of the lastest technology in dentistry as well. I feel confident that I am receiving the best care! The staff is very pleasant to deal with at Ideal Dental of Mansfield. They always call me by name and give personal customer service. I have never had the feeling here that I need to be on guard with my pocket book. Most dentists nowadays only seem to be interested in how they can squeeze more money out of their customers, but Dr. West is very conscious of her customers and what is best for them. Unbelievable in my book! Keep up the GREAT work! I hope to be a lifetime customer!

Finally I call just before my wisdom teeth appointment out of anxiety to really triple check I was insured. Thankfully, the lady on the call took the initiative of verifying my insurance was active. It was not. She said it hadn't been for my last visit either so my down-payment for my wisdom teeth appointment was used for that last out-of-pocket visit. I'm glad she told me and clarified some things with me, but it's frustrating to have asked about this during prior visits and have out-of-pocket costs for something I wish they could've clarified. I called back today to cancel a future appointment since I'm not insured anymore just to be met with the lady cutting me off and stating that I have a nice day and hanging up. Once I work out my coverage, this isn't somewhere I'd come back to, but before all of this - the staff used to be accommodating and friendly.

All of the techs were very thorough, helpful, and straightforward. Emily was so sweet and knowledgeable. When going over finance with Brittany, it was a straightforward process. I did not feel judged when I requested to remove a service that I couldn't afford. Dr. Nguyen did a great job with my surgery. Aftercare instructions were very clear and laid out. Every single step was smooth and it didn't feel like they were there just to make a sale. If you have anxiety about dentistry, this is the place for you. They have an abundance of options for you to ease you into the process- pillows, sun glasses, music, headphones. Every single person was patient, friendly, kind, and informative. The entire location was very clean and comfortable. Their sweet Axolotl in the front waiting room was adorable, and her tank was very well kept. You can tell that the entire team puts a lot of effort into every aspect of their office, from their patients to their pets.

However, Dr. Ean was top-notch providing local anesthesia multiple times to quell the pain. Love him as a and have been going there for several years. I've always had a great experience, which is why I was especially disappointed with my visit today. I went in for a routine cleaning, and unfortunately, the hygienist who worked with me was rude, had very little personality, and barely communicated with me throughout the appointment. I left feeling like I was just another number rather than a longtime patient. This is completely different from the way I've been treated during all of my previous visits to Clark Dental, which made today's experience even more disappointing. I hope this was an isolated experience because I have always had a positive opinion of the office and its staff. I just felt that my experience today needed to be shared.

I decided to seek a second opinion, and I am SO glad I did! I ended up only having two cavities, so you can imagine the drastic cost decrease. Dr Mardock took my smile and confidence away!…read more Dr Mardock May be great for extracting teeth but DO NOT go to him if you want major work done. Especially if you can't afford to go to another dentist to have them redone. I went to Dr Mardock because I have teeth missing and a few cavity's that were not bad. Over a period of 2 yrs my cavity's were not his concern so I didn't think they were bad. He proceeded to make a bottom partial for my missing teeth and told me he was going to put crowns on my six front top teeth. He didn't even address the broken and decaying teeth. You would think a dentist would fix the base problems before working on replacements. I was confused when he put my crowns in when I realized they weren't individual crowns. There were two pieces with three teeth on each one. The teeth were HUGE. I had very small teeth and I actually cried when I got home and looked in the mirror. The teeth were so big when I smiled my front teeth overlapped my bottom lip and pulled my lip in when I stopped smiling. He gave me buck teeth! He ground them down to make them shorter but now my left side of my teeth touch but the right side has a gap between the upper and lower teeth. After a few months a piece of the crown came out at the gum line, my crowns have shifted causing a gap between my two front teeth and the crowns are loose. I have a small gap between my gum and the partial which left a sharp edge I complained about . He said he could fix it but never did. He didn't act as though he cared at all. One eye tooth was shaped like a ball so my teeth felt so awkward when I closed my teeth together. I now have an overbite. My crowns also slanted outward making my teeth look really strange. Dr Mardock then had the nerve to tell me I may need braces! Braces for crowns you just put in my mouth?!? My real teeth were smaller and perfectly straight when I walked in the first time. I've never needed braces in my life! Now I have huge teeth that look so bad I can't smile. My friends and family were shocked when I showed them. He then made a partial for my missing teeth on the bottom. The partial was very painful and cut my gums. I went to have adjustments done four times and gave up. He ground off part of my real teeth to make the right side fit but when I put them in my mouth and bit down my right side popped completely off. All he could say was it wasn't like that when you walked in. Exactly my point! He talked to me like I was a child. I cut my losses and went to another dentist who couldn't understand why he would put a partial in my mouth in the first place at that point because both the teeth my partial hooked on to needed root canals and he didn't remove a tooth that had broken at the gums. Now the teeth that supported the partial are breaking. He just put the partial over the broken off tooth. In the mean time the cavities he ignored in the beginning are so decayed now I need root canals on four teeth and possibly will lose them. Not to mention the pain I am in. I am now self conscious about my teeth and try not to smile so they show. Several months after all this happened I was visiting a friend in the hospital and I started talking to another visitor about my experience. She explained to me that her dentist did such a bad job replacing her teeth with crowns that she got into an argument with him about it. She said she had to go to another dentist who had to remove the crowns and replace them. That dentist wondered what dr Mardock used to glue in her crowns because they had to grind them off so they could start over. At the expense of thousands of dollars. She then asked "It wasn't Dr Mardock in Cedar Hill was it,? I was shocked and said omg yes it was. She said he was the one who messed up her teeth also! This dentist should not be allowed to continue to destroy people's teeth and self confidence! It doesn't end there! I talked to a man who said he had to go to another dentist (Dr Seidler) after he had a few fillings done because the filling fell out within a year! I'm sure there are many more people out there who were just as devastated by his work. Stay far away from this dentist if you want to keep your smile. Dr Mardock took my smile! I'm trying to figure out how to post pics on here so I can put before and after pics that show how huge my teeth are and how they slant outward compared to what my real teeth look like!
