I went to this establishment about a month ago to wash those dreaded comforters that I own. I swear in the back of my mind the comforter industry and the laundromats are in cahoots with each other. Every comforter I own is way too large for my washer at home. Anyway, this was my first time using this laundromat, so I had no clue how anything worked. But I was pretty sure that they would have a money exchanger (which is located in the back). Needed to exchange my lovely dollars into pretty quarters. The problems started there...I was trying to put the dollar in, and the machine spit the dollar back out. Finally, one of the workers saw me and helped me out (I think she had the magic touch). Once I had my quarters, I looked around at the washers. She followed me and I told her what I was trying to wash. Thinking that I needed the biggest washer, she told me that I could use one of the mid-size ones. I didn't realize how large those were! She was awesome in helping me with everything, and I really appreciate her showing me. She did check on me a little afterwards and asked whether I was able to get everything in the dryer, and I told her yes.
While I was waiting for my comforters, I noticed another employee going around and actually sweeping and mopping. She was also cleaning the tops of the washers.
My only complaint is that there isn't too much seating in this place. But honestly, if I was that tired I could have sat in my car. And another thing - the one tv that they had on, it had on spanish programming. I believe I was watching soccer at the time. My spanish is so limited...I just took out my phone and it occupied my time. read more
