Negative stars, most pathetic excuse for a business I've ever encountered. Attempted to create an account on their website to schedule a delivery, page refreshes and sends me back to the start so I try I again. It tells me my account is created so I try and log in. Page refreshes, sends me back. I try this over and over, tired to re-create an account, says I already have one, but won't let me log on. It seems like this "company" only has interest in losing money, that's the only thing they're doing well. read more

This review is on their service and the owner only..which sadly is one in the same. I was referred by a friend and was even given the owners personal cell number. I didn't use it. Im looking for a full service fluff and fold along with dry cleaning so I gave it a test run. And there began the longest ordeal to wash some clothes. I downloaded the app as directed and signed up for the text. I schedule pick up for a Thursday through the texting service. Receive a confirmation text. I double checked in the app and it was scheduled there as well. How neat! Well around 4 pm on Thursday I call to find out what gives since my clothes have been out front since 9 am. I am told they have no record of my order and that I probably didn't answer the text quick enough to get on the schedule. I was also advised, in the future, after scheduling through the texting service to call and confirm that they got the order so this doesn't happen again. Ok??! The lady was helpful though and I put on the schedule for the following week. The following Thursday comes around and they come and pick up as promised with a delivery date of the following Thursday. The night before I check the app and I see my order has been split into 2. Tops and bottoms. No big deal until only the bottoms were dropped off. I call immediately and was told they didn't get delivered because one of my tops was not finished and I would have to wait until the following Thursday to get my items. NOT ACCEPTABLE! But didn't I know they had a flood in their Lodi location and that put them behind and if I wanted to I could go and pick it up in Lodi instead of waiting. I asked instead that the owner call me. I then proceeded to use that cell number I was given and call the owner. I left a message asking for a call back explaining briefly my situation. No phone call. Today, a week later, the delivery driver dropped off the remainders of my items and told my husband that he was sorry for the confusion and that they would like to offer a discount for the next service and that HE would be delivering from now on as the new delivery driver. Hubs told him no thank you, we won't be back. This whole ordeal is just an example of poor management. Technical issues with apps etc are admissible but hiding behind your employees who try their hardest to keep your investment afloat is just despicable. Had you picked up the phone and talked to me we could have come to a resolution. Now, i just don't want anyone else to have this headache. read more

Hands down the best dry cleaning service in town. I discovered this location through a friend when I was looking for a place to get my wedding dress preserved. At first I wasn't sure if I should go with them since it's a traditional dry cleaning business but after speaking to the owner I knew felt more at ease. It turned out way better than I expected and they even surprised me with a video of the process so I can look at back the dress anytime I needed for the memories! I always call in to any business before considering them, as this is a great way gauge if the business truly cares about their customer service. I called saying I am interested in their dry cleaning service and was met with a warm greeting from Pam. She was extremely patient and kind, explaining their process and the price breakdown. When it came to the service, all the cloths were down within two days ready for pickup. I was also given a tote bag and a first time discount. My partner and I brought in my wedding dress and a three piece men's suit to be dry cleaned on May 31. We were told that our items would be ready after June 17, which was stated on the receipt, and that I would get a text or call once the items are ready. We were in no rush. June 17 rolls around and I didn't hear anything. I called the store and Pam (who is very nice) picked up and said the men's items were ready but not the dress, and that it should be ready on Tuesday, June 21 and that I would be contacted. June 21 rolls around and I hear nothing. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought that it just takes time. We were lucky that we didn't need the items right away. July 1 rolls around and I call the place again. They do not have the items. Pam calls their Lodi location where they do all the cleaning to inquire and calls me back to let me know they are loading it on their truck and will contact me when it arrives to the shop. At my time of writing this (July 1), there are 2 hours before closing and I am still waiting to hear from them. I am beyond disappointed and infuriated by the delay and my having to reach out to inquire after not hearing from them on the dates that they said I would hear back. Had I not called, would I have ever been contacted? I was a first time customer and was won over by the many good reviews, but sadly, I will not be coming back to Martinizing for my dry cleaning services because of this experience. I must say that Pam who works here is amazing at customer service. She is a gem. I hope that this gives an opportunity for Martinizing to improve their processes and communication with their customers. Update, 7/1 5:30 pm, after pick-up: Not having heard from the shop, I called the shop around 4:15, inquiring if the items had come in. Pam apologized for not having called me earlier and said that the items arrived hours ago. I go and pick up the items. While there, I shared my disappointment to Pam about my experience. Her immediate response was that we said that we were in no rush to pick them up. I felt that her instant response was a defensive one, then placing blame on me, without acknowledging the frustrations I had. I responded that while this is true, we still needed to know about when they were ready, so we would know when to pick them up. I was told they would be done on X date and it wasn't. Pam said that if we needed it sooner, then I should have let her known and that they would have gotten it in sooner. To me, that was not the point. The point was that I was told that it would be done on X date and the shop did not deliver on that. Pam did offer and I accepted a small discount, but I'm not sure they absorbed the message--that they could have done better about actively communicating when they said that they would and meeting expectations that they set for the customer. On all occasions, I had to be the one to reach out, wondering why I hadn't been contacted yet even though its past the date that they said I would be contacted. I never did receive a text message or call that my items were ready. I don't get the feeling that they owned up to what could have improved, which became a missed opportunity for a lesson learned that could possibly help improve business. I want to support this business because there are some nice people who work here. But unless they improve on their communication and meeting the expectations that they set for customers, I don't think I will return. As for the dry cleaning itself, the men's items came out nicely done. While my dress came back cleaner than before, they lacked attention to detail as several spots on the bottom of my dress still had dirt stains. read more

Let's start by saying that this is by far the best dry cleaners in town. I was initially surprised to learn that the formerly known as 'lakeside cleaners' had undergone new ownership. Although rough around the edges the former had always done good work for me and I was curious about the new ownership, a young and enterprising couple who I was able to have a very enjoyable conversation with. They shared their vision for a modern take and even more convenient way to dry cleaning. I didn't realize there was more convenience than just dropping off your garments and picking them up all spic and span, but here I was pleasantly surprised as well. Chevy was super helpful and informed me about their mobile pickup options and even went out of their way to add us to their route. Needed some work overalls cleaned so I decided to hit google and find the nearest and potentially the most valued service! Never gotten my articles dry cleaned but I've heard so many things about it. This was my first option on google and I decided to give them a call. A gentleman named Chris (I believe) answered and told me to bring them in ASAP so they could be cleaned and possibly be done at the end of the next day! Brought them in 2pm on a Thursday, they were ready early Saturday, they even sent me a text! Wow... I had stained of anti seize, lock tight, dust, grime, just overall (haha) a dirty uniform. Decided to come here once a month so I can look my best for work. It ran me just about $15-$18, of course your prices will vary but this was just for one piece of clothing. I also signed up online for their pick up and delivery service and didn't finish up the process because I ended up bringing them in in-person. But Pam went and gave me a call today to see if I was still interested. Won't be needing it anymore, but it's great to know they offer that service. they're AWESOME!! I was bummed out when my fave jacket and turtle neck got red stain all over after laundry. It was mixed with other colored clothes which was a big mistake and they're still new so I decided to try martinizing dry cleaner hoping it will save my clothes. I'm not in a rush so I told them I'm willing to wait and besides it was holiday season. The lady was really nice and she let me feel more welcomed. When I brought my clothes, she didn't gave me false hope ofc and I totally understand that but when after a week when I came to pick up my clothes, I was sooo happy with the result, they fixed it and I can't believe they did a lot of effort to save it :) I'm so satisfied and grateful and happy with the service. This location has sadly failed me on multiple occasions. I chose this location due to the reviews but be advised customer service is surely lacking at the moment. After 2 calls to this establishment this week I am quite frustrated and disappointed. I had placed a pick up on Monday when the company texted me (as a return customer) for Tuesday at around 3pm and saw this confirmed in the app as well. On Tuesday afternoon around 4pm when there was no show and my package was still on my porch as requested, I called again. At this point my app had pushed the pick up to Friday. Upon calling I learned that you no longer do Tuesday pick ups but no one ever notified me. They stated someone should have called me and that you would be here Friday. Friday came and about 3pm my app told me it got moved to pick up next week. So I called again only to find out that the pick up was still ongoing and was told to ignore the app. The person picking up had me on the list and they promised it would be picked up today. As of 930pm tonight, my package was still left on the front porch and was never picked up by them, no one bothered to call, and at this point I am not even sure that they have any customer service. After my last experience with this company on my first time with them where my items were lost and not delivered back to me until 1 plus week later after multiple calls I am beginning to think this is how this establishment operates sadly. I was willing to give a second shot after the first issue but this appears to have been a mistake. read more
