ABSOLUTELY GIVE THEM A TRY!…read more I dropped off two items that I NEVER thought could be resurrected! A favorite silk dress that had a oil stain on it for 5+ years, just could not bring myself to throw it away after many attempts to fix it. I even forgot to mention the stain when dropping it off. When I got home from picking it up I was amazed that the stain was GONE! Wore the dress that night out to dinner....and I was convinced it was a goner. The second item, my favorite jacket that like a moron I wore to the stables and practically ruined. Michelle one of the owners called me concerned that the leather might not respond well and I figured it couldn't get much worse so go ahead. Let me tell you that thing is beautiful, looks just like it did when I bought it! There were no issues with the leather portions and it was crisp and clean and let me tell you it was dirty, seriously beyond ick dirty! I truly appreciated the call, honesty, care and attention to detail given to me and my clothes. They have earned a lifetime customer. Beckysue

I brought in several items for alterations, and when I returned to pick them up, the owner noticed a design on one of the t-shirts. I shared that it was in memory of my nephew, who passed away in a motorcycle accident. He had been a strength coach at UNC, and the community is raising money to support his widow and child. She was so touched by his story that she refused payment and told me to give the money to his family instead. Not only does she do excellent work, but she is also a truly kindhearted and generous person. Highly recommend!

Our guests had gotten a stain on it over the holidays and had wet it to get the stain out not realizing it was too big to be washed in our home washer/dryer. Using T + D drop-off/pickup service seemed like a great idea! Unfortunately, things didn't go well. We received this text (not a phone call) letting us know they had ripped the mattress pad. "Due to normal wear & tear there was a rip that occurred to the mattress protector that we noticed after the wash. You can come pick it up but we were not able to dry it. We will refund you the $15 that was charged to your card and will offer a 25% discount on your next order." No apology! No phone call! I called and asked them to please dry it and my husband would pick it up and I would repair it. They said no, it could not be dried because there were multiple big rips and it was not fixable. Again no apology! A California King mattress pad is quite expensive and all they offer is a 25% discount on my next service for ruining it. Never using their drop-off/pickup service again. Not sure what happened to the reviewer who got the runaround about the shirt price. Perhaps you should have talked to the lady who took your shirts. The only issue I had was with a cheap prom dress where several do-dads (beads or whatever) were missing when we picked up the dress, and the lady said that she thought they had been missing prior to drop-off. It could be they lost a couple, but it was not a very high quality dress to begin with. Other than that, I don't recall ever being dissatisfied. Give them a try!
