I am extremely disappointed with my experience here. I recently entrusted this cleaner with a Monnalisa Minnie Mouse Swarovski crystal shirt belonging to my daughter. Monnalisa is a high-end Italian childrenswear designer, and this was a brand-new luxury garment with extensive Swarovski crystal detailing. When I picked up my $377 cleaning order (I gave them 48 garments total), the shirt was returned to me with a substantial amount of the Swarovski crystal embellishment missing. The difference is not subtle. The shirt was visibly and materially damaged while in their care. Fortunately, I photograph my garments the day I bring them in, and I have clear photographs showing exactly how this shirt looked before it was entrusted to the cleaner, as well as photographs and video documenting the condition in which it was returned to me. What I find especially unacceptable is that no one disclosed the damage to me when I picked up my order. I was allowed to pay for and leave with a $377 cleaning order without anyone informing me that my daughter's designer garment had been damaged. I discovered it myself afterward. This is precisely the type of garment for which a customer uses a professional cleaner because they expect it to be handled with the appropriate level of care. If a business accepts a high-end, embellished designer garment for cleaning, I expect either the expertise to properly care for it or the transparency to tell me beforehand that they cannot safely service it. Accidents can happen. Returning a visibly damaged luxury garment without disclosing what happened is a separate issue entirely. I have contacted management directly and requested that they take responsibility and provide an appropriate resolution, including reimbursement for the garment. I will update this review based on how the business chooses to handle the damage and its response. read more

they lost my suit jacket:(. bummer since it's an awesome location right by home! won't be back

I do not recommend using Presstine cleaners. I took a cherished blazer and other items for the first time and my blazer was ripped, the clothes weren't ready a week later, I waited 30 minutes for them to find and finish laundering, and was charged for the ripped blazer despite them destroying it and not laundering it. When I arrived they couldn't find half of my items and asked me to wait to find and press. They quickly packed everything(I was late by then otherwise I would have checked). When I got home I saw my blazer was torn. I called and the manager said yes we know that's why we didn't charge you. They did, I stopped by as they requested and the manager was never there. I finally caught him by phone and he said they would reimburse me. It's two weeks later, and I still don't have the refund on my credit card. I don't think they did a particularly good job on the items they did launder either. I just wouldn't bother with this place if you're looking for a new spot. It's pricey and poor quality. read more

Update: After speaking to management in person about the situation. He was able to find my strap to my dress. I was so happy. :) ***it seems the person I spoke to on the phone didn't do a thing about the situation. Management needs to fix the Customer Service problem. read more

ABSOLUTELY Ridiculous, Saturday I'm told to come Wednesday evening to pickup my jacket for a zipper repair they damaged, of course never telling me it was broken, how about Just fixing what they broke!?!?! And now at noon, after waiting 20mins they tell me it's not ready b/c it took 4days to find a zipper??? They had 24+++ hours to notify me they couldn't find a zipper and there would be a delay, NOW I'm being inconvenienced having to come back AND they're still charging me, talk about customer service??? read more

Wow! This place is way expensive! I guess they need to charge that much due to the location. I took 2 pair of pants in to be altered and it was $24, usually around $15 at most other cleaners. Not to mention they didn't alter them to the length I had requested and now I'll have to take them back again to see if they will alter them to the correct measurements. Although it is overpriced the service here is great and very friendly. The guy working when I dropped off the clothes was very nice, but could not quote me a price. The lady working when I went to pick up my clothes was super friendly and carried on a great witty conversation. Based on the staff I'd give them 4 stars, but based on price and not doing the job correctly they only get 2 stars. read more

Presstine Cleaners - Laundry Services Near Me - Atlanta, Georgia

Disappointed in both the customer service and quality of work! Dropped of a pair of dress shoes for shining with a quick turnaround time. We were assured that they would be completed within our timeframe, but were just able to pick them up today, three days after the day we needed. The least they could have done was call us to let us know each day that they weren't there, but instead let us show up three different times only to leave empty handed. read more

I have been a customer of this place for about 13 years, and they do a great job. Plus, they seem to hire nice people who remember your name and look up your stuff as soon as you get out of the car. They do great work and if you have issues they have a manager on site empowered to refund your money/redo your order, etc. They are the only place I know of that dry cleans jean shorts. read more

I wish I could give them negative stars... Presstine Cleaners has really really gone downhill. Not only did they totally screw up the dresses that I took to get altered but then they continued to charge me full price. The owner is this Asian lady who also happens to be the seamstress and she insisted that she did a good job even through the fabric was frayed and messed up after she altered them and then she had the nerve to tell me that she did it cheaper than anyone else would have done it!!! Once I got home I found that the seams were not even sewn down and they were coming apart. I had my baby in the car with me when I went to pick up the dresses and could not stick around to further protest - 12 minutes of waiting in the heat in the pickup lane - with a tired baby - and an unscrupulous business owner who thinks she knows how to sew does not make for a good combination. There was no effort to give me a discout or to even refund me for the dresses. ***** I ended up being charged DOUBLE the price that was originally quoted****** This lady needs to take a business class, English speaking classes and sewing classes in order to keep customers. My family members have also had poor experiences with Presstine Cleaners and I should have listened to their advice about using a different alteration place. read more

We struggled to find a decent dry cleaner at a decent price. Apparently it seems you can pick one of the two. My wife was heading out of town and needed dry cleaning done the same day. We searched high and low and this was the only place we could find that could do it and actually dry clean the clothing rather than just launder it. The pricing was a bit high (around $40 for two articles of clothing), but the dry cleaning was finished at the time stated. We were told to drop it off at opening and it was ready at 4 pm. The customer service was good. The only downsides for our experience was the price. If you need dry cleaning done in a pinch, this is probably your best bet. read more

I saw this business while at the Avril's Car Wash across the street (the best car wash in Atlanta - completely eco-friendly and they do an old-fashioned hand wax. No stupid buffers that leave micro-scratchers in your clear coat.) and just called. They'll come pick up dress shirts, take them and clean and press them, and bring them back currently (as of June 1 2012) for only about $2.30 a shirt, and you can request the sleeves to be creased, how much starch (optional), and if you want the back pleat done all for the same price (currently.) I'm setting up an account with these guys. I also have a small area rug from IKEA that has long strands of fluffy wool, and they send it off but it will be thoroughly cleaned. She said prices start at $40. Apparently size affects whether or not they can clean it, so it's important to verify by giving the rug size. Soooo...this looks like it's going to be a great service. If I'm able to come back and edit after the service for this first order I'm doing today is complete, then I'll leave my remarks. On customer service based on the phone conversation, I'm already very happy, as most businesses employ people with little to no real phone skills, or good diction for that matter. Update: 5/9/16 I realized I never updated a couple of years ago. I did take the IKEA flokati rug in for cleaning. The company they sent it off to completely ruined it. It came back as as something between twisted pompadour and Senagalese twists. It was impossible to untangle. They had me file a claim, but my rug was useless. Also, the original owner sold the company to someone else. Things aren't as classy, he got rid of the frequent customer discount card (which was nice to have because they're pricey as shirt cleaning goes even for the Sandy Springs/Buckhead area), and is not friendly and I can tell the employees don't like him nearly as much. We stopped using this company before we moved. read more

Great customer service! I met with the owner and we came up with a up compromise that worker for both of us...in fact, he was more than kind. I appreciate his willingness to work with me on settling this issue. I will stay on as a customer!!! read more

As other people have said - they do a good job but it is expensive. The customer service is a little better than at other places in buckhead and I like the little barcodes they put on your clothes that remember your name and preferences. It's a treat to have such good service at a dry cleaner... but at the end of the day it's just a dry cleaner. read more

I think that overall this is a good place to take your dry cleaning. The staff is always friendly and they seem to always do a good job. They would get 5 stars if their pricing was just a little cheaper. read more

Great place for your nice stuff. Never had anything come back ruined and I like that they don't put pins through your clothes. A little pricey but good read more

Always great customer service, quick turn around, super convenient (live off weiuca) and have helped me in a pinch if I need a quick turn around. Only bad thing is price and they have bust buttons on several of my shirts. read more

After moving to Atlanta four years ago, it took me a while (6 months and as many dry cleaners, to be exact) to find Presstine, which has been my cleaners ever since. The service is fantastic, prompt, and cheerful; the quality of service is unparalleled; and the hours are great. No request is too big, small, or odd for them. I don't even live nearby anymore and still drive 20 minutes to use Presstine. I recommend them very highly! read more

This place is fabulous!! I won dry cleaning for a year off of Facebook. They are always giving away promotions! Definitely go to there fb page and like them to be aware of there generous giving! Sending all of my friends and family here!!! Amazing!! read more

With exorbitant pricing, one would think that the service here would be impeccable. It's a shame that the ridiculous prices only goes towards this business's rent in their prime location. Clothes are never ready on time, and if they are wrapped in plastic on your due date, rest assured they are not clean! I only came to Presstine because of their Sky Miles program, which also NEVER goes through. My advice - - try the lovely Koreans down the street. At least you know what to expect. read more

I have been a regular customer of Presstine Cleaners for 5 years now, and I can honestly said that in all of this time, that I have always been completely satisfied with the service provided at the roswell rd. location. I recommend Presstine for all clothing service. The work done there is always excellent and professionally done, I will be a regular customer for years to come. read more

The level of service is in the name. It's been years since I moved out of the area, but I continue to bring my shoes & alterations here because of their excellent customer service & quality work. They accept requests other turn away. I cannot recommend them enough. read more

The owner was waiting on me when I picked up my clothes today and apologized for profusely. He insisted that the service I received was not the regular and insisted on comping my bill. He even offered a $50 credit for future visits. Went above and beyond to make up for initial shortcomings. I appreciated it and will be returning (beyond my $50 credit). read more

I had been a customer for 7 yrs, but will never go back. Motorized rack they use to store cleaned items is flawed and will create grease marks on your shirts right below the center of collar on back of shirt. The owner Young admits a problem, but the solution was that I should pick my shirts up in less than 3 days or else its likely to happen every time. They ruined 15 plus shirts that were new. If u go here, check your shirts and I guarantee you'll see the same issue. The moving rack they have inside is old and they refuse to clean it. Even the staff admits there are shirts covered in grease throughout the shop in the same place on back of shirt below collar. For as much as this location charges, I would expect much better quality and customer service. Young, the owner, wouldn't even take the time to call me when I first noticed the problem and brought the shirts back. Don't waste your money on this place. read more
